Is it bad to wear a yin yang symbol

Is it bad to wear a yin yang symbol since one cant keep it inside the home. You did not explain why it should not be kept inside the home since it means balance. Thanks.

1. I have seen youngsters wear yin and yang symbol both as necklace and as rings.
Generally, the yin and yang symbol can still be worn without any problems.
2. Apologise, earlier, when I mentioned about the Yin and Yang symbol, I associated it with the Ba Gua trigram.
I must clarify that the Yin and Yang symbol alone is still acceptable because, as you mentioned it represents balance.
It can still be placed at the centre of the house to represent the centre or balance.
3. What I was thinking was its association with the First Heaven Sequence, where the 8 trigrams are in their place.
Here, unless it is a temple or a religious place, it is best to avoid, placing it in the house. The Ba Gua mirror thus, has to face out of the house.
4. Rotating the yin and yang symbol represents the various seasons.

Dear Cecil,

As I am wearing yin yang pendant for more than eleven years, but I didn't know that what good or bad is happening with me. I loose jobs every 2 years. Is ying yang reason behind to wear it as a jewelry or it's just my intuition.

Frankly, in my opinion, there are more than this to cause someone to loos their jobs bi-annually.

Alternatively, you can always consider not wearing it. Unless has lots of intrinsic value to you or for some, it may be an adult's take of feeling secure much like a baby and their comforter "pacifier" equivalent.
