If Back Door facing North

Dear Dion,
What is common with the Compass School of Feng Shui i.e. the Eight House and
the Flying Star and if we map our Heaven Luck using Pillars of Destiny are
that they have to be personalized to an individual.
For the Shapes and Form School, it is more generalised Feng Shui.
The Eight Aspirations or Life Aspirations is a " free for all ". Anyone can
write a book about it and say that the romance corner is at the South West
while the Career is in the North.
So, you will realise that if you are considering compass directions e.g.
North, you should look at it under the Eight House Theory or the Flying Star
Theory.
Even in the Four Symbolic Animals Principle, it does not say that the back
door facing North is bad. Under this theory, a water position behind the
house is bad. It does not also imply that a backdoor at the North is bed.
The only thing I like to relate about the North is that it is common in
Europe or the West to consider North inauspcious. The reason is because most
churches lie North to South and in the bible, it was mentioned (somewhere)
that the North is the home of the devil. When rites are performed, priests
usually face the South.
This has also to do with the Northern lights and the ozone problem in the
north. In addition, the Chinese consider North East, the devil's gate. Which
is close to the North.
Well, you should not worry too much about the North. What you need to do is
at the North and North East sector, avoid planting too many trees. I know
wells are uncommon nowadays, but wells at the North, NE and SW are usually
avoided. The reason is to avoid creating a yin environment (too many trees
or too much water) at these locations.
If you do not have the above, it is fine.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
