Dear Cecil,
Have read about hanging 6 metal coins as cure and is wondering if it has to be tied together.
Recently I bought this beautiful wooden piece of ornament with an embedded metal coin. I thought of placing it in 6 pieces together in a vertical format from top to bottom. In this case the coins will not be tied. Is it OK or must the coins be tied together by the red string/ribbon?
Regards,
Serene

Dear Serene,
It would be best to tie a red string with the 6 coinst tied together. This is preferred if one is using 6 coins.
The rationale is because fire element (red) can help to bind or control metal element (especially if it consists of 6 metal or big metal element).
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
