Actual direction of apartments + Commercial Products in the name of Feng Shui

Recommended Posts

Dear Cecil,
I have 2 queries:
1. When is comes to apartments, is the direction of the building's entrance considered as the direction of the main door or is the entrance of the apartment is the one that counts? I am unable to conduct even a basic analysis if the apartment direction cannot be determined.
2.Some books says that the 3-legged toad should be facing towards the main door while other said that it should face away from the main door (to signify bringing fortune into the house). Can you enlighten me please? Also, should it be hidden from common sight as well?
Thanks for your help.

Frankly, it does not matter if the 3-legged toad has lost another leg or had regrown it's 4th leg.
This is a heavily exploited figuirine that costs a bomb to the users. It's manufacturing price is cheap but usually the person that pockets the most are the sellers of these products.
In the past, I had written the origin or story about the toad. Do a search and one may find out more.
Apologies for the side-track, usually in Symbolic Feng Shui:-
1. for any figurines be it a fish, a frog, a toad, it is always best to keep it's mouth `occupied' with something.
2. For instance, the 3-legged toad's mouth usually has a piece of an I-ching coin and sometimes an artificial diamond in it's mouth.
This is to signify that it's mouth is full and filled. If it's mouth is open, it is very inauspicious as it may inadvertently suck one's wealth.
For fish figurines etc... in a fountain environment, it has to spurt out water. It would not be good if no water comes out. And it's mouth faces inside the house.
3. For all sorts of commercial figurines, it should be `pointing' inwards into the house i.e. symbollically to `throw' wealth into the house. As opposed to facing out of the main door, to throw away wealth.
5. Anyway, personally, I find all these too commercialised.
6. Perhaps, the only comfort is that it may psychologically boost one's Man (Human luck). Or give one hope that things may change for the better.
7. But if things does not change for the better; and for those who bought it on `roll-over' credit card payment, one may end up the looser.
8. The morale of the story here is that if one pays $388.00 for a `limping' toad, check out the next few months if one can realistically recoup this amount or not.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
