Hello,
we have a long corridor that goes through the middle of the house,
connecting bedrooms, it's carpeted, and it hought it's best to buy a runner
so the carpet stays clean.
in tewh catalog they offer Burgundy, Navy, Grey or Green colors.
Is there any preference what color can it be? - as i think it 's a kind of
important as we use this corridor a lot throught the day
thank you!

Dear Newsgroup Guest,
Frankly, if Feng Shui is to be applied, a home has to be Feng Shuied first before such advise is given.
Looks like you may have to use your intuition. Or, often, seek opinion of your spouse and even family members as to which colour; everyone like or prefer.
In my opinion, the amount of light filtering thru to this long corridor should be taken into consideration.
For example, if the long corridor is often `dark', then, it makes more sense to use a lighter coloured overlay carpet or carpet that can bounce off more light. Then dark coloured ones that often absorb light.
Another consideration (not Feng Shui)is that unfortunately, light coloured `heavy' traffic usage of a carpet; would mean that a darker carpet is better.
If you so decide to use a dark coloured carpet, often, I would believe the walls are often white or cream or any of the pastel shades of colours.
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
