NW-SE Houses (Facing & Sitting)

Dear Cecil,
Thank you for your comments. I like Ong Hean Tatt's scientific explanation about
Shapes & Forms & why Yin sightings or radiations causing cancer (sha Qi) due to water underground etc..
In Singapore, ?Western Group? are advise to choose homes (refers condo) with North-South (facing-sitting), to avoid glaring afternoon sunlight. ?Western? Group when compared with Eastern Group will have less choices in buying a home according to their ba zhi, locations, favorable directions & flying stars.
1. Does the above conditions includes landed properties despite having awing, tress for shade & houses tilted sideways?
2. Is it true, houses which has NW facing & SE sitting built in Period 7 is not suitable to have water at their frontage( in their main door (NW) after Feb 2004?. Why?? Are they financial related?
3. What does it means when a house goes into a 20 years wealth lock in Period 8 (2004-2024)?
E.g East/West (facing & sitting) houses built in Period 6 - financial wealth related??
I understand after every 20 years, the houses will lose their auspicious flying stars effects.
Please elaborate?? Thank you.
Regards
Wincash.

1. Yes, I strongly believe that good authors often state facts.
2. Even if our homes is miles away from the sea; we are literally affected by daily high/low pressures.
3. Even the idea of full moon i.e. our moon is many thousands of mile high; yet, there were documented cases of people's mood affected by the magnetic force of the moon. We can literally see high/low tides based on the moon's gravitational pull.
4. Even the Grand Duke theory is based on the planet Jupiter .. which is said to be the biggest planet and thus have a `magnetic' influence on our planet earth.
5. Thus, one must never, never discount: Macro Feng Shui.
6. Yet, time and time again, we human beings are being `connned' by persons who invent marketing ploys.
7. Recently one user asked, why the rich kept antiques. As the word suggests, antiques are suppose to be `rare'.
8. But, what comes out of the marketing ploy today are things like three-legged toads that roll out of the production line. Are these antiques?
9. I am truly sadden by the fact; that many Feng Shui practitioners today; who `prey' on all of us: giving us the notion of what "We all want to hear".
10. In fact, go to most Feng Shui practtioner's sites and one finds all kinds of "Feng Shui" products.
11. As mentioned, these products costs little to make but, is very lucrative money with high mark-ups for the sellers.

1. Does the above conditions
includes landed properties
despite having awing, tress
for shade & houses tilted
sideways?

There was an earlier message by Wasis who had asked an almost similar question.
Landed property often is `different' from a condo or flat/apartment. Some of these apartments are literally concrete / cement and many of those that face e.g. West, have direct sunlight or heat absorbed into that facing.
For a landed property, there is often a difference. Most landed property is often not more than 3 storey high.
And, one of the advantages is that of a ^ inverted V shaped roof. Where air there is an air-pocket between the roof and the ceiling.
Often, these landed property also have landscaping e.g. plants or trees to shade the house.
As you had mentioned, simple things like awning do provide side to these landed properties.
In fact, a house should conform as much as possible to the shapes and forms. And not purposely tilted in an odd-shape vis-a-vis the site/land.
No matter how, in my opinion, a North-South house is still a better choice even for the `Western' group people. Here, if one constructs an entirely new home, the bedroom locations can be specifically tailored to be suitable to the `West' group people.
The idea of West or East group has less weightage than Shapes and Forms of a home.

2. Is it true, houses which
has NW facing & SE sitting
built in Period 7 is not
suitable to have water at
their frontage( in their main
door (NW) after Feb 2004?.
Why?? Are they financial
related?

Rather than say that all NW or SE facing is not suitable to have water at their frontage; we should understand the key principle behind such an idea. And if you know how to draw a Luo Shu grid, then test out the hypothesis.
Please note that even under each sector, there are always three sub-sectors.
Thus NW has NW1, NW2, NW3. While SE has SE1, SE2 and SE3.
They key ingredient to understanding why no water has to do with #7.
Under Period 7, it is said that #7 is auspicious under this period. This is true for any other numbers found in that period.
Thus under Period 5, even an inauspicious star like #5 - because it is under Period 5, is said to be auspicious under that period.
In other periods #7 is a bad element other than in Period
7.
For example:-
20-Year Reigning Period: 7 (1984-2003)
House Direction: NW2 (315)
The NW sector stars are:
#7 mountain with #9 water and #8 base star.
Under Period 7, the significance of this will be:-
Five Element Analysis (Mountain vs Water)
Analysing: Weak Metal (7) vs Weak Fire (9)
Relationship Analysis
Metal (7) is controlled by Fire (9). Fire element helps to destroy Metal weaken it. Thus, this is considered an auspicious combination.
Under Period 8, #7 has now become a bad star.
Under the five elements concept:-
Metal produces -> Water
If we use water or add water to #7 (metal) then, water increases and drowns Fire (9). The Fire elment which was suppose to destroy or weaken Metal has been extinguished.
And this bad metal element combined with water element will change the whole equation.
The key here is to have a solid understanding of the Five Elements concept.
Proper authentic Ba Zi also is based on the Five elements concept.
And Proper Flying Star Feng Shui is also based on the Five elements concept.
Thus in this equation: the lowest common denominator or LCM is the Five elements concept.
Therefore, if we look at Feng Shui seriously, it is purely based on logic and the application of the Five elements.

If you are interested in Flying Star, please take up a course on it.
