buddha and chinese warriors

I would like to know about buddha's there meanings and is it lt lucky to have chinese warriors placed in my garden

Dear Deborah,
Frankly, Feng Shui is non-religious.
Thus, Buddha, or the religion buddism has nothing to do with Feng Shui. Perhaps, you can try do an internet search e.g. using Yahoo.com et... to find out more information about this topic.

THE LUCKY CHINESE WARRIORS


For the "lucky Chinese warriors" hmm.... these are considered products. And are not purely Feng Shui.

Can I ask a few simple questions:
Q1. "Do you own a pet dog? Or does your neighbours own dogs? YES/No"
Q2. "Is your garden an open area i.e. no fencing/main gate - open area
The attached picture will show why sometimes, the "lucky Chinese warriors" may not be SO LUCKY AFTER-ALL.....

The saying goes: The "LUCKY CHINESE WARRIORS" are suppose to "PROTECT". BUT THE QUESTION IS ALSO: WHO IS GOING TO "PROTECT" THESE STATUES?"
The attached, picture, is based on every day, commonsense. And, often it can be very REAL. No B.S.

Thankyou Cecil for your reply. The reason for my chinese warrior and buddha is I decided to have a pebble garden with pavers, to add a bit of interest I added my warriors & buddha. I also dug in a round medium ceramic water bowl to put some fish in. I also have a water fountain on my fence wall as I love the sound of water. My yard is enclosed and faces the North. I wanted to create a tranquil area out the back with lanterns also amongst the pebbles. Yes I do have a small dog and 2 cats and no she would not dare water on it. She waits patiently all day with her legs crossed for me to take her for walkies.So what started out with a paved/pebbled garden took on a small role of a chinese garden, hence the warriors/buddha. Is there anything I could do to provide good feng shui in my garden of peace. I have also added some bamboo in a pebble pot & a large glass cylinder. My front door faces the south, my back door directly opposite the front door facing north. My bedroom window also faces the south. I would love to hear of any ideas you have. From my front door I look to the south, west to the mountains and east to the ocean.

Dear Deborah,
1. Apologies, the `dog' thing was meant to be a *JOKE* Glad that you have well trained (civic minded)dogs:))
2. Frankly, there is no hard and fast rule on what makes a perfect garden.
3. Most of the time, in-fact, it is what you and your family feel comfortable with.
4. From your description, you garden sounds lovely. This is already a plus point.
5. The other `secret' ingredient to a successful (area) is the sight of birds. Birds, like us, do appreciate good location. Hopefully, they are not king fishers or fish eating ones (especially if one rears koi fishes:)
6. Don't worry, so long as one has a passion of gardening or simply admiring or making effort to make one's garden look `nice' often, this is already a success!
