Water feature in the bedroom

I would like to know if it is alright from fengshui point of view to have a water feature (stone with water flowing from the center) at one corner of the bedroom? I am asking as I understand that it is better not to have a TV set in the bedroom, so is it too much of 'damp' chi if we have a water feature in the bedroom.
Thank you for you advice in advance.

Dear Anon,
Frankly, this may not be a good idea.
Real water in the room, in my opinion, may harbour germs. Plus you had also mentioned dampness in the bedroom. Especially since, this water is not cleaned at all.
In my opinion, I do not see a problem with a TV set in the bedroom:
1. Many of us read too many Feng Shui books `warning' us about having a tv set in the bedroom. The chief reason is: that the screen `acts' like a mirror.
2. But I have often mentioned that, this is not an issue for many people.
3. There are many people who have shifted home, or placed a tv set in their bedroom. And, do we ever hear of "Mr A moved to a new home. Placed a tv set in this bedroom. He died soon after? "
4. I do not believe anyone has died this way? More likely a couch potato may be lying on the sofa chair in the living room and perhaps died there than in the bedroom.
5. Some of the new tv sets have lcd screen or plasma screen. And one could hardly see our pearly teeth - if at all. (Even if one's teeth is not too white -- yellow) one cannot hardly see it also.
6. We are on this earth for such a short time, so why torture ourself, just because a "book" says so?
Warmest Regards,
Cecil
