myfs_101484
Dear Master Cecil,What is the implication of placing a bed in between of two tall cupboards/wardrobes from the feng shui point of view? Currently, my bed is in this position. I can't remove any of the wardrobes as they are permanently built-in. Can I buy a new bed with a broader/thicker headboard/cushion so that when I sleep, my head is not sandwich in between the two wardrobes (i.e. my head is out of the alighment of the two wardrobes. Your advice is sought. ThanksJoan
Staff Cecil Lee Posted April 21, 2004 Staff Share Posted April 21, 2004 Dear Joan,In the Feng Shui point of view, this is considered inasupicious. Especially, if one sleeps "sandwiched" between two concrete columns or beams:In particularit depends on the size of the beams as well as the distance between it from the bed. And also, the shape of the beam. If the beam is squarish or rectangular in shape, there is an added "sha qi" or poison arrow aimed towards the bed.In the case of the wooden cabinet, it would also depend on one's comfort level. For example, whenever you sleep on the bed, do you feel comfortable? Can sleep properly or not. Some of this aspect also has to do with the condition on one's mind. Quote I buy a new bed with abroader/thickerheadboard/cushion so that whenI sleep, my head is notsandwich in between the twowardrobes (i.e. my head is outof the alighment of the twowardrobes.Yes, most likely, as mentioned above, once we read too much about the "bad effects" of Feng Shui or certain things that seems to be inauspicious, we often, would like to try out another method to reduce this "uncomfortable" feeling or perhaps, as a safe guard. And therefore, pulling the "head" out of this two alignment can seriously be considered.Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 3/23/2004 6:49:15 PM, Anonymous wrote:Dear Master Cecil,What is the implication ofplacing a bed in between oftwo tall cupboards/wardrobesfrom the feng shui point ofview?
