myfs_88310
Dear Master Cecil: If you would kindly explain what determines a fortune or a misfortune is gone or still prevalent? I saw that a sector representing a person's prosperity could be gone long time ago. 1. Does it mean prosperity will never come back to the house?2. Why only prosperity can be gone? Why "death", "disaster", or "spook"will never be gone? Thank you.Regards,Jen
Staff Cecil Lee Posted June 4, 2004 Staff Share Posted June 4, 2004 Dear Jen, In a recent reply, I shared that in the time dimension of Feng Shui, especially in Flying Star Feng Shui, numbers play a key role because this system is based on both time and numerology. Each period has certain numbers that are especially important. So, for Period 7, the number 7 represents current prosperity, 8 represents future prosperity, and 9 stands for future-future prosperity. If an enhancement can be activated while we are living in the period from 1984 to 2003 (Period 7), then all three numbers – 7, 8, and 9 – become very important. In the current time period, which is Period 8, the number 8 now represents current prosperity, 9 represents future prosperity, and the next number after 9 is 1 (since in this system, there is no number 10). Therefore, under the time dimension in Feng Shui, we should, as far as possible, try to activate or enhance #8, #9, and #1, and avoid letting them be weakened or “drowned out” by other numbers. For example, #9 belongs to the Fire element. Because this is our future prosperity star, any location that has #9 should avoid the presence of Water at that spot, since Water can weaken or “drown” #9. In Period 8, #7 becomes the past prosperity star and turns into an unfavourable element. So there is no real reason to enhance our past prosperity. Instead, our focus should be on neutralising #7 to reduce the problems it brings. Do note that in Period 7, the past prosperity star was #6. As #6 is a strong Metal element and does not cause major negative effects, we did not need to manage it as carefully as we now have to handle #7, which is known as the robbery or theft star in Period 8.
