small living room bed and furniture arrangement

Dear Master Cecil,

I have a small apartment living room; door facing South/very slight inclination to Southwest/ and window facing East/very slight inclination to Southeast. I have always been troubled in finding the best placement of my bed. East side all window and balcony. Presently my bed is positioned at the west side wall /slight inclination tonorthwest/ facing the door itself, with head directed north. Is that a good way to place the bed for healthy reasons. In a way I am confused in arranging that living room to satisfy all my needs and have suffered quite a lot from that. Could you help?

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Marie

Dear Marie,

Frankly, for a small apartment and especially if we have lots of belongings, it is always best to keep our posessions, neat and tidy. And, I know this must be hard, but if we do have boxes or unwanted items, it is best either to neatly pack them or give them away.

For a small apartment - space clearing : does help

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
