LAYOUT 1 - BAD

Make sure the fridge with an ice or water dispenser does not face the stove. This setup is not ideal, especially if the sink and stove are too close together or if the stove is near the wall. I like this arrangement because it encourages the family to cook less and eat at home, which helps everyone stay slim and healthy.

Ok, last one option. How about this layout

Generally acceptable.

1. The refrigerator should not have a water or ice dispenser.

2. Be cautious in windy conditions or if the flame goes out.

3. There are no safety measures in place in case of a fire. Fortunately, gas has a strong smell, so it's important to rely on your sense of smell. If a flame goes out, gas could leak into the bedrooms.

1. Frankly, this is the first time in my life I’ve seen something like this. For a moment, I thought it was the twilight zone for it to be above the stove. As long as it’s not induction and there’s electricity, it’s possible. A wardrobe is common.

2. I need to take Panadol Extra. This is the first time I’ve heard of this. If there’s no choice, even if I have to “break an arm” — touch wood — if it has to be done, it has to be done.

So in short it’s not advisable for the aircon water and gas pipes to go above and below the stove. But they can go through wardrobe is it? Our aircon compressor is located outside the kitchen window, that’s the aircon guy is seeking views on the options

Built-in wardrobe is acceptable. But some are smarter and install the wardrobe after the pipes are in place, so the carpenter can see if they can make it easier for future pipe inspections, etc.

Fortunately for me, no need to face the air-con installer. Which I feel is unfortunately a pessimist.

Question: for the joint line of the countertop, let's go with aligning it with the cooker. This is the best place to have joint line since the visible lines will only be at the green circled area.

Feng Shui does not micro-manage every single thing. So long as they are not bright primary colours. Are fine. Else, imagine hanging or drying clothes also must ask about Feng Shui. For example. If a male has to wear army green and army green not suitable how? Tell commander, ....

Is the kitchen door design okay?

Based on common sense:

It is recommended to have a glass door or an opening at the kitchen door. Firstly, food is often brought out from the kitchen, and one should be able to see that no one is standing outside the door.

Next, with a full door, touch wood, if there is a fire or smoke, and you wait until the door becomes super hot and flashes into fire, then it will be too late.

Good morning! Thanks for your reply, can I shift the stove to the centre to avoid facing the sink, will it be ok?

Reply: As long as the stove and sink do not face each other, it is acceptable. However, it is still preferred for the stove to be on the same wall as the sink. With an open kitchen concept, strong winds blowing between the kitchen opening and yard windows should not blow out the flame, especially if a gas stove is used. This is less of a concern if an induction stove is used.

Client: Thank you Master Cecil, i got some burning questions, is it ok to ask u.

Client: According to your case study, 234, 246, 226 & 222 are also south east facing same as the choice u given me 236, 228, 248

Client: "so master so am i right to say what is shared in the video above is not true? this is shared with me by a friend"

(The client forwarded the TikTok video where the Feng Shui Master recommends stacks 234, 246, 226, and 222 as his choices, but I avoided these stacks. Why?)

The FS master can plot a Flying Star chart but forgot that the kitchen especially the stove is at NW = Fire at Heaven's Gate. What kind of FS advice is he giving people?

NW = Fire @ Heaven's Gate

In Feng Shui, the Northwest (NW) sector is associated with Qian (Heaven), the Metal element, and traditionally male breadwinner aspect of life. “Fire at Heaven’s Gate” (also called Fire at the Gate of Heaven) refers to an inauspicious Fire–Metal clash when strong Fire energy is placed or activated in the NW else a stove can affect male breadwinner's career and also overall family luck.

Although Stacks #222, #226, #234 and #240 may look like good buys at first, unfortunately the kitchen layout makes it hard for the stove to be placed anywhere except in the NW sector.
