Dear Lionel,

I have to delete your message containing the two graphics.

This is because, you did not add Source and Credit to the attached copyright images belonging to streetdirectory.com

Is such a unit

okay to buy or is the

Moutain/Tortoise too far away

for support?

Generally, this is too far away from your unit.

Often, the test is shadows formed by the buildings surrounding your proposed purchase. If the building does not cast a shadow towards your home, then there is generally no direct relevance.

Or another test is that does the buidling block your e.g. entire view or over-cast such that it blocks the wind-flow to your home.

If any of these affect the proposed home, than it has a strong bearing on the home. Otherwise, they are considered too far away.

Also, the

water tank is directly above

the unit since this is the

highest floor. Are there

any problems with this?

From a Feng Shui perspective, there is no issue with the encased water tank. It is not like an open pool or container above the unit.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil

Hi Master Lee, I

would like to get a general

idea whether the hHDB house I

am looking at is suitable

before doing an indepth

check. In the attached

file, the house is located in

Block 2, the block with a

star. The exact unit is

actually facing South for the

main door and facing North for

the Living Room. The

nearest building is the UOB

building shown near the Top of

the picture. This is

about 500m away. Bukit

Timah Hill is about 1Km away

in the North, directly in

front of the living room of

the unit I am eyeing.

In addition,

there are a lot of greenery at

the bottom of the block, all

the way to the UOB

building. The unit is on

the 14th floor and the trees

reach up to around the 6th

floor.

Is such a unit

okay to buy or is the

Moutain/Tortoise too far away

for support? Also, the

water tank is directly above

the unit since this is the

highest floor. Are there

any problems with this?

By the way, this is a 2 storey

Executive Mansionette.

Thank You,Lionel
