Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 16, 2004 Staff Share Posted August 16, 2004 Dear Ricky, Thanks for the sketch. In my opinion, there is no issue with the new layout plan so long as the edge of the fridge does not "cut" or slice into the stove position. Please see attached illustration: " OK vs INAUSPICIOUS". Warmest Regards,Cecil Quote On 8/13/2004 7:54:55 AM, Anonymous wrote:sorry, did try to attached butit did not appear.

Staff Cecil Lee Posted August 21, 2004 Staff Share Posted August 21, 2004 Dear Ricky, Yes, this is definitely a much better arrangement: 1. the sharp edge of the cabinet no longer points towards the dining table. 2. this layout definitely makes the kitchen more rectangular in-shape and the fridge is now flushed against the wall area. (So long as there is proper ventilation for the back of the fridge, this is ok). 3. If the oven is at position A, this is OK. 4. Generally, we have not taken into consideration the wife's ba zi to see if the stove is in a good facing direction. But, if say the opposite direction is favourable, then a mirror can be used to "reflect" the image to the other side of the wall. Especially if current stove is say facing e.g. East. and the opposite side is West. Warmest Regards,Cecil P.S. with attachment.
