Staff Cecil Lee Posted November 4, 2004 Staff Share Posted November 4, 2004 In Singapore, it is very common to find many shops selling "ancient-Chinese coins". But do take note that these are often imitation coins. And in-fact, imitation coins are good enough to be used. This is because a real geniune ancient Chinese coin can costs as much as S$25 or USD$13 each.In Singapore, I believe, the last time I was around this area; one can get the coins for as little as 50 cents to S$1 at the Bencoolen Building:-http://www.streetdirectory.com.sg/map.jsp?masterID=29016&postal=187951&building_name=&road_name=WATERLOO%20STREET&house_blk_no=42&heading=&&x=30231.36&y=31582.97&level=7&iconlist=star,30231.36,31582.97;&clickMap=0&clickX=30242.19&clickY=31592.72There are several shops in this building and many others around the various shopping complexes within this vicinity.Warmest Regards,Cecil
