myfs_100950
Dear Master Cecil Lee The kitchen sink and kitchen toilet door facing opposite each other. Is it alright. The toilet bowl is not facing the door entrance but it face the wall. When opening the door or when the toilet door is not close the toilet bowl can be seen. Guess the only solution is to close the door and to put the curtain. Then my whole house is full of partition which we just installed and our master bedroom toilet put the curtain and now our dinning and our bedroom put bead. Thank you With warmest regards Sophia Chia
Staff Cecil Lee Posted February 3, 2005 Staff Share Posted February 3, 2005 Dear Sophia, The primary consideration in a kitchen is the placement of the stove. It should typically be oriented in a direction that is convenient for the spouse or the woman of the household. Regarding the kitchen sink, this is generally not a significant concern, and it is permissible for it to be positioned as you have indicated. Therefore, it is not essential to keep the toilet door closed even when it is not in use. You are correct in stating that excessive partitions or screens should be avoided in the home. Improperly placed partitions can disrupt the flow of the home, akin to a knife cutting through its various areas. For residents of the Rosewood condominium (Woodlands), please be aware of the following: Since the kitchen door is adjacent to the main entrance: Position yourself at the main entrance and look towards the kitchen. Frequently, many family members neglect to close the kitchen door. As a result, various utensils, particularly forks and knives, may be visible from the main entrance. If this is the case, it is advisable to remove them, as their visibility can lead to frequent disputes among family members.
