Change of P7 to P8 house

Would changinga couple of roof tiles and floor tiles together with the changing of the main door constitute a change of period? Please advise.

Dear anon,

No this would normally be not enough to fly to the new period.

If possible, once some of the tiles are removed, leave it (perhaps, use a clear plastic sheet) to cover the missing area but generally one may have to place it back around 100 days later.

Usually the morepromising thing is to do a major renovation. Thus, in my opinion, it is really a waste of time and money changing the main door since the frame is not changed at all.

Besides this, a celebration or inviting a lion dance etc... would help...
