Altar table against the kitchen toilet

Dear Master Robert Lee

My brother's housealtar table was place against the kitchen toilet, facing the main entrance and above the altar area kidsroom. It had been placed for 12 years. As I have some knowledge of feng shui I advice him it inauspicious the altar table place against at the kitchen toilet. I have two option here:-

1) Can the altar table place facing the stairs to the room

2) Place it at the living room which is near the main entrance (sideofthe entrance) OR

3) leave as it is.

If to place at the centre of the house the toilet upstair the altar area will directly below the toilet upstair.

Please advice me here.
