L shaped living room

My living room is L shape. If I put the screen to make it a regular shape. Will the
partitioned area still be considered the living room or it will be considered separate
area. Thanks.

Dear Anon,
The more important consideration as you have mentioned is to try avoid having an `L' shape. It is thus better to `break' down the `L' into two square/rectangle shape.
It does not really matter here if you have to decide what to call the two `halves'. You can call one the main living room and the other any name. It really does not matter.
