Altar at the balcony

Dear FS Master,

Is it a good location to have your Altar place at the rectangle balcony on a 10th floor HDB flat, especially on theright side of the balcony wall.

Dear Aloysius,

This is not the first choice location is still acceptable provided it is "shielded" from the sun and rain.

The altar should be placed with a solid backing. As to whether it is to be placed on the right side or left side of the balcony, so long as immediately facing the altar - we do not see any "ugly" objects e.g. drying of clothes or shoe cabinet.
