Can you elaborate on the Case Study of your Grandpa house?

Is it bad that the front of the house is shaped like the Ba Gua or because of the removal of it and reconstruction of a new front look?

In that case study, the original ba gua frontage is like the head of the house. The act of demolishing just the head of the house and replacing with a new front is just like you chop off one's own head and put on a bigger one. That is why it is bad.

For such landed property, it is never a good idea just to demolish part of the house and rebuilt a bigger one. It is better to completely demolish the existing house and rebuilt it from stratch.
