Bed Placement Dilemma

I have just rented a lovely condo near the beach. There are a couple of issues of concern re: the bedroom. First, the door to the bedroom directly faces the front entrance, so when you walk in you see into the bedroom. Secondly, the only place to put the bed is perpendicular to the door (you face the head of the bed when you walk in the front door) or in front of a window with the foot of the bed facing the door. The other issue is if I choose the wall option, it is not a favorable sleeping position (head faces SE and I am a strong yang Metal (Gua #7). Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Dear Susan,

Under the Holy Trinity of luck:

1. Heaven Luck (born with a silver spoon or not)
2. Earth Luck (Feng Shui of a home or office or place)
3. Human Luck (Usually, it is about us: have a feel good factor)

Every home and even bedrooms have a limited scope to place a bed. Especially placing a bed that suits our bed-head direction - due to things like fixed door to the bedroom, windows etc..

Many of us try (nowadays) to do things in the name :sake of hoping to have better Feng Shui such as trying to place our bed-head towards a good direction. However, we should always consider this situation as NICE-TO-HAVE. And not a MUST-HAVE.

What is more important is the Human Luck factor (or man luck). Or feel good factor. Thus, imagine if we do not avail ourselves to looking at good head sleeping directions, we would instead, place our bed according to the shape and form of a bedroom.

In fact, true Feng Shui is also about "harmony in nature" and the hope that it gives us harmony in our life! Thus, what is the use of placing the bed head towards our good direction, but, we simply don't feel that comfortable?
