1. In the past I prefer to use IBM ThinkPads. 1.1. Where in the early years of Geomancy.net, majority of the resources was produced using them. 2. The first laptops produced by IBM was either only: the 3 series and the 7 series. The 3 series is their base model. (Similar to BMW = 3 series. While their 7 series is more Atas! Like the BMW = 7 series. LOL) 2.1. This was IBM 386XD 11.3" TFT. Photo shows an IBM ThinkPad 700C. (C stands for colour0. Where the chassis is very much similar to the 386XD. 3. Missed the feel of it’s keyboard. And removable hard disk feature. 4. I also had purchased a docking stations for them. At that time, a mouse, other …

Many practitioners todaylearndestiny and fengshui analyses in order to cash in and get wealthyvia this ancient Chinese mystical field, not primarily to help others. This is diametically opposite to the ideals of the bazi and fengshuipatriarchs of yore, such as Yang Jiuping,Guo Pu,Li Xuzhong,Xu Ziping,Jiang Dahong and Shen Zhureng.Global fengshui factorshave shifted in suchmanner that today, personal and social moralities have to inexorablygive way to materialism and hedonism in one's personal life.To achieve theseends, one needs toseek ways and means to make as muchmoney as possible, and quickly too, including resorting to ancientesoteric knowledge and practices, even if deep dow…

I am rather suspicious of fengshui practitioners who hawk products. We can use ordinarythings like metal beds or wooden beds, household plantsetc, which are equally effective if used in the correct amounts and placed in theright positions. No need to waste money on attractive but expensive thingslike"100% jadeite" objects that purportedly help todraw in wealth. It seems that "qi" adjustments by the"master" is not enough. You need to further buy their products after paying an arm or a leg for their consultations. These things certainlydo draw in wealth. But only for the "master",and from gullible and s…

1. Previously, I used a smartphone app that says ... take a snapshot of a leaf; and leave it to the program to identify the tree. 2. This application gave a totally wrong tree! Deleted the app... yet need to subscribe it monthly or yearly! LOL! 3. Finally, today, asked a client who owns Eco Scape https://www.eastec.com.sg : What is the actual name of this “umbrella” tree... Combretaceae (Bucida molinetti = Italian name of this tree) 4. Also commonly known as Indian Almond and Ketapang family tree. 5. For me, I shall still call these trees simply as umbrella trees.. LOL 6. Light green version.. these trees are four years old:- 7. Dark…

Hi fellow forum users Well, I'd like to share just two of the many changes that have happened in my "orbit". 1. The family business has been doing well, but I wanted to see it do better. So I looked at the Flying Star chart done for the office and noted that I had hung a solid six rod windchime in the appropriate sector. On Cecil's advice I changed it to six hollow rods, turnover has increased by 40%, profits are up and four new people have been added to the payroll to help with the volume of work. 2. My daughter works in the family business. She is a weak wood. Is always feeling tired at work, even though she sleeps well and is in good health. After pondering over this m…

Christopher was said to be a very large, strong man who helped travelers cross a dangerous river. One day, a small child asked to be carried across. As Christopher carried the child, the child grew unbelievably heavy, and Christopher felt as if he was carrying the whole world. Once across, the child revealed himself as Christ, saying Christopher bore not only him, but the weight of the world he carries. This story explains his name—he “bore Christ” on his shoulders—and why he became associated with protection on journeys. Patronage: Traditionally, Saint Christopher is considered a patron of: Travelers (by road, sea, and later, air) Drivers Mo…

Dear Rose, To answer some of your question:- a. For the poison arrow from street lamp, if you have aday curtain keep it close so that the lamp does not cut into your home. b. A house with missing corners is typically not good. There is very little you can do to fix this given you are on the 2nd floor. But such corners does make decorating it quite a challenge. c. As for the clutter, unfortunately too much items makes anyone feel uncomfortable. You should try to do some cleaning to clear some of the unused item. Also having lots of storage space can help keep such items out of sight. …

As I have said before, many bazi and fengshuilearnersjump on the bandwagon just to rake it in,and quickly too.Not only new practitioners, but the so-called experienced ones are, well, obsessed with money too. That's why they need to have fengshui "conventions",advertise full-page in the papers, etc,in order to raise their public profiles in the world. Paying close to S$300 just for a bazi reading? For that amount, you can get many good books on bazi and read up yourself,or read the postings on bazi forums. Am rather curious what "secrets"the "experts" will graciously "transmit" to the audienceat the coming Singapore fengshui"convention" at Suntec City.At last year's(2007) "c…

Brand 1: Auto-Seal External door GAP seal In my opinion, this is a pretty good "mechanical" door seal. What happens is that each time the main door is at the close position; there is a mechanical seal that drops down to the floor: so that there is no longer a GAP to allow for brochures or even liquid to spill into the unit. Look down on the floor. There is an aluminium strip at the bottom of this condo unit floor. The product name is called "auto seal"

Kandang Kerbau Market History. Today it is renamed Tekka Market Tekka Market, also known as Kandang Kerbau Market, was built in 1915 and became a well-known marketplace for fresh cut meat. The name, Kandang Kerbau, made reference to the surrounding cattle trade and means "buffalo enclosure" in Malay. The Chinese called it tek kah because of the wild bamboo found in the area. The original market was located across Serangoon Road, opposite the present site. Tekka Market was popular amongst all communities and known as the "people's market". It gained a reputation for its varied and reasonably priced fresh vegetables, meat and seafood. During the redevelopment of ".e …

Dear David, The best technique in using the Eight House Theory is to prepare a transparency and writing down each person's intangible directions on the transparency. Try to use it on a A4 sized transparency where we commonly use this paper. 1. Your transparency should have the North, NE, East, SE, South, SW, West and NW clearly marked on the transparency. 2. Next, if you want to use different ink to represent each member of the family. Start with the Father, Mother, etc... After doing so, you will then have a `big picture' of your entire family. 3. Get the layout plan of your house. If you are looking at various properties, simply superimpose this transparency on the layo…

Dear Rick, 1. Overall, what we are trying to achieve is to increase our luck. 2. Feng Shui focuses on improving our Earth Luck. 3. The Feng Shui of interiors is just one part of our total Earth Luck. 4. For example, the location and building itself can sometimes account for 30 to 50 percent of our Earth Luck. 5. In my opinion, it’s a common mistake to pay excessive attention to just one corner—like decorating a single area—when that corner may represent only 1/8 of the total 8 or 9 sectors typically analyzed. In more detailed studies, this can expand to 24 sectors and beyond. 6. It’s a bit like taking an exam. 6.1 If you’re asked to answer four questions,…
