1. Applying Feng Shui is a holistic approach. 2. You may want to read thru the first page of the wiki:- http://wiki.geomancy.net 3. Even applying proper Feng Shui, there is a holistic approach to it. 4. Honestly giving a simple sketch or giving some details is very hard to find out really what's wrong. As often, a full Feng Shui audit needs informatinon like the Shapes and Forms of the site / building and unit and even compass school. 5. If one really wants to DIY, then you may have to understand - Key Success Factors in D.I.Y. Feng Shui and many more considerations that I had highlighed in the above wiki. Quote: Granted there are many causes but I'm suspecting …

1. In my opinion, what comes first depends really on when one gets to know Feng Shui and applies it. 2. Thus, there are cases where many after understanding the concept of the Eight House and Flying Star, have sought to analyse a home, first before purchasing it. 3. Thus, if one has good knowlege of both concepts, many persons or by seeking help from a professional FS practitioner can help to identify which homes are better overall. 4. Thus your question sounds simplistic: " The chicken or the egg, first?" Instead of, going into a deep blackhole to "argue" whether the chicken came first or the egg? There is such thing as apply both concepts together! 5. Both the Gua …

Please get someone competent to access for you. Frankly, if your office is a small one, it is ever better for you to concenrate more on your business than to squeeze in an aquarium. Many highly successful businessess don't rely on it for their business. In fact, if you say that you own a site and want to locate a water feature outside your building.. usually that is great! Quote: my question and my problem is could you identify the wealth area or corner of my office and where should i put my aquarium - the south east corner of my office is where the toilet situated so we have missing corner (do you agree) - currently i place my aquarium inside my office partition look…

1. If one wants to find out one's career based on Chinese Ba zi, then you need to "include your DD/MM/YYYY. The free report to find your element is here:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm 2. You have find out your element and strength. 3. Under the Five elements concept: the industry known as "accounting" belongs to the metal element. 4. In addition, many of the past messages had covered things like the industry can be e.g. metal element. While the job specification is another consideration. For example, one can be:- in a Metal industry (accounting) but job specification is wood element. Wood element includes skills like co-ordinat…

In my opinion, an airline pilot has to do with earth element as earth element is related to transportation. And a plan literally is a transport be it transport of passengers and/or cargo. Thus airlines are typically in the area of "transport". Although, another way of looking is that these transports are mostly "metallic". Thus the career element is earth, but surrounded with "metal".

1. Most likely, you notion of Career sector is based on a "fixed template"? model? If so, this fixed template model is a modern invention. And may not be true under Traditional Feng Shui accessment. 2. Under Traditional Feng Shui, it is best not to have a giant main entrance . As for a giant doorway, generally, it should not be an issue if it is part of the living area or the passageway. 3. Again, this "knowlege sector" is not based on Authentic Traditional Feng Shui. Quote: Three stairs go up through the giantdoorwayto the other side to enter the knowledge sector 4. What you had been applying is the modern invention. 1. Yes, what you said is absolutely, correct! 2. As once we purchased a home (especially a built up home), we cannot just change it's environment nor the site. 3. Thus do or die, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui has to be correct! 4.1 Yes, in addition to wrongly calculated ba zi; it is correct that we may even get the birthdates wrong. In Singapore, Malaysia, also, many do not report the birth of their children early - especially in the 1920's to 1940's. And some people only go to a police reporting station several weeks later and their birthdate is "stamped" that day! 4.2 This is why only the experts, are confident of using only the Ba Zi method, fully. But again, it make…

1. Since no two lots or sites are the same, just be careful thatthe main door is not facing a T juction (street). And under Shapes and Forms, the drainage needs to be looked at. In general, best to avoid a large drainage behind the plot. Quote: I am looking at a lot, frontage is about 24 meters. But a portion-8 meters is facing a street. Isit still advisable to acquire such a lot. Is there a bad omen to lots facing a street. This is just a portion.

1. Usually, the origin of the "white elephant" comes from Thailand instead of China. 2. In the past, elephants were revered especially in the north. And elephants represents strength and good fortune in China. Chinese figurines often have children or a child riding on it to symbolise "fertility" and "wealth". 3. In my opinion, the white elephant has more to do with Thailand. As White elephants are rare and the King of Thailand, is the only one that keeps or considers white elephants as sacred and thought to bring good fortune. Thus anyone in Thailand that can "supply" a genuine White elephant to the King (Thai King) will be well rewarded! 4. In Thailand, the King has a…

1. Missing corner(s) depending on where it is can have an impact on the Feng Shui of the home. 2. In particular, if the missing corner is at the NW sector which affects the "head-of the house". Quote: We will soon move to a new apartment with a missing corner East, facing NW 3. Not sure what you mean, but hopefully it is not para 2, above. 4. For landed property, landscaping such as from a "top-down" helicopter view, one has landscaping e.g. plants or bushes or something that forms the outline of the missing corner would be best. And at the corner, a lamp can be placed at the corner.

1. Most of the time, it is not recommended to place a water feature in a bedroom. If you meant "my room" as the bedroom. Quote: Mark Anthony L. T. wrote: Is it safe to put aquarium in my room? or should I put it in the living room. 2. If you have the time, you may like to view some of the resources on the guidelines of placement of a water feature, under this link:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/What_makes_a_good_Water_feature/_fountain 3. In general, under this current period, you may consider placing a water feature at the SW sector of your living room (and depending on the layout of it). If Flying Star Feng Shui is applied, then the water feature may be placed at l…

1. Frankly, there are more in Feng Shui than what you had mentioned. 2. The info and the enhancements that you want to make in my opinion, is like trying to apply "Kindergarten Feng Shui". 3. For those who want to DIY and use many of the "logic" found below, should seriously scrap applying this type of kindergarten Feng Shui. Here, it is better to go with your feelings than to "considering painting the front door black to help enhance my career/wealth ". 4. Proper Feng Shui has no precedence with ideas and hopes, below. 5. For those who really only want to DIY, have to really find means to enlarge your Feng Shui knowlege. Frankly, this cannot do. 1. More importantly, the "owners" or "breadwinners" or subsidary tenants or anyone who are suppose to move-in should SLEEP from that day onwards. Is generally considered as having moved-in. 2. In real life situations, some people may bring in their gods a few days earlier. An example is that they had an opportunity to bring in their gods on very good days such as every 15th lunar month or every 1st day of every lunar month. These days are always good days to bring in the gods. 3. Often, we should not bring in the GODs too early. What is too early? For example, one month before we actually moved-in. Thus in general, one may consider bringing in a god earliest should be a…

1. In the past, I had posted messages on living in a small room. 2. Under the outline of Chinese Metaphysics, the highest order is what is known as Tai-Ji. Below this level is the Yin and Yang concept. 3. Below the Yin and Yang Concept and if Eight House (Eight Mansions or also called Ba Cai) Feng Shui cannot be applied due to a small room, then the "higher" level Yin and Yang concept should be applied. 4. Here, Yang represents the day or bright or things equivalent to study, physical exercise. While Yin represents activities for relaxation and rest and sleep. 5. Especially for a student, which must have a balance between studies and sleep, many logically try to set a…

1. Glad that you find our website useful. 2. Yes, it is best to have the stove installed. As it is one of the most important items (affecting health and wealth) for a family especially if one moves or try to move-in for the first time. 3. In the past, if the main stove is not installed, those who also use an alternative charcoal stove may move in .. but need to "use" it for the first time. 4. Minor touch up of the ceiling is fine! BUT, it is best that you are aware where is your North and South sector of the new home! As this year, North = Tai Sui and South is the three killings. When the minor touch up of the ceiling is to be done at one of these two sectors, try no…

1. Please refer to my most recent comments under this topic: Identify Period Of House Posted in: Earth Luck :: Flying Star (Xuan Kong) House Posted on: Sun, 02 Nov 2008, 21:46 PM, 2. The above message highlights two major Arguments and my comment is that if necessary, one may need to consider drawing several Flying Star charts for such a home. Frankly, this is the most sensible approach which is adopted by many competent practitioners.

Frankly, it is strongly recommended that one does not apply "Fast Food Feng Shui!" Quote: Anonymous wrote: I have been unfortunate in the romance and love area for a few years now. I am wondering what are some of the best feng shui colours, object placements, etc would be for the bedroom. Or if there are particular things or colours I should be wearing. I've heard placing lots of pinks/reds/purples (colours of romance) and items in pairs in the bedroom would help. Looking at the above, I am pretty worried that you may not be able to (on your own) given that you are trying to apply some sort of Feng Shui. Often, such Feng Shui is akin to a dog circling itself trying…

1. It is good that you have observed that your daughter has "better" left brain skills (logical, mathematical...) than right brain (intuitive, subjective, spatial) skills. 2. In theory, better careers based purely on Ba zi for a weak wood person are careers in the water industry and wood industry. 3. Accountancy belongs to or is considered as a "metal" element career. Thus strickly based on ba zi to define a career, a weak wood person should be "surrounded" by water. As water supports wood. Only then can "metal" destroy (weak wood + water). 4. In my opinion, as parents, it is good to know but, I believe, you will also leave it to your daughter to pursue anything under …

1. Feng Shui encompasses various aspects. The topic you mentioned below falls under the category referred to as the "Commonsense Approach" to Feng Shui. 2. The reason some individuals assert that what you mentioned is "NO" good stems from the "concern" that, in the unlikely event that one or more of the three cars were to catch fire, the rising flames could pose a "death" threat to those residing or sleeping above this area. 3. This is akin to the common belief that having a bedroom situated above a kitchen is undesirable. The same reasoning applies here, as the likelihood of a fire occurring in a kitchen is greater than in other areas of the home. In s…

Frankly, it is difficult to change the external factors, since majority or all the time, we do not have control over this. It is not like, one can get the dragon side to be higher than what it is or the tiger side -- lower. This is not just possible. Thus, you have to consider maximizing the FengShui of your home by other means i.e. improve other areas of your home, instead.
