Dear Ken, Quote: Ken L. wrote: However in my four pillars, I have lots of water, in fact too much. Of course that makes me strong wood too but water becomes my unfavourable element. 1. In this case, you were derived as a strong wood person as the breakdown of your chart has lots of water. 2. As are a strong wood person, then your best colours are: 1. Fire (Red, pink or purple) 2. Metal (White, silver or gold). 2.1 Your wealth colour is Metal. Quote: Ken L. wrote: Someone else say never to have too much water effect in my home, including painting blue because I need to get rid some water in my life. 2.2 Thus, if you are the main breadwinner of the home, based on yo…

Dear GY, Yes, it is nice-to-have (not must-have) a date to start work (repainting). And if the gate is changed nearly the same time, then, no need to choose another good day.

So sorry I believe there are no books on the subject of x3 Roosters that I am aware of! Frankly, in my opinion, it is a coincidence of x3 Roosters and as you have mentioned, should not have an impact on your dad's "scam" issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. Usually, further investigations should be made to determine the type of "leak". Often, if your bedroom is too yin (dark) and in many instances where the storeroom is located at SW or has flying star #3 at that sector. 2. For the storeroom, if it is too yin (or dark), without proper investigations, you may consider "trial and error" by installing a light such those latest "philips led" bulds" that stay cool. And leave this light on for 12 hours (of course without distracting your sleep - ie glare. Warning: Using halogen, may not be suitable as it produces lots of heat especially for those whose home are of wood construction. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: …

Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Relationships are built upon "man or human luck factors". Under Feng Shui, you can apply Flying star to activate the mountain stars.

1. Contrary to popular belief, a home that may enjoy parent string combination does not automatically do so. The key is : Location, location and location. 2. Frankly, either there is some issue with the location: if it is a landed property: factors like drainage etc.. and other external and internal factors should be taken into consideration. 3. The cures or enhancement is not general to all. And, if you are DIY, then, try to apply the Eight House and Flying star Feng Shui: In particular, as mentioned previously in this forum see if you can activate: #8 current prosperity and/or #9 - especially for middle aged persons #1 future, future prosperity and also try to fix …

1. For a landed property, the best location is the covered porch leading to the main door. 2. For apartments, if the corridor is a common corridor, then, you may consider hanging inside near the main door. Quote: Angelia T. wrote: About the 6 hollow metal rod chime; should I hang it at the frontage of the main door, facing the corridor or can I hang it inside the house near the main door?

Dear Deepti, 1. In general, this can be considered "inauspicious" based on common sense approach to Feng Shui. 2. The idea, here is because, any home that is lower than it's surroundings e.g. such as roads, may in some instances of heavy rain mean flooding for such "lower" homes. Hopefully there are not only proper drainage but also also, especially for some homes that relies on drainage to rivers (to the mouth of the sea). In many instances, such homes are affected by high tides. 3. Other than this, since no two homes are similar, each home has to be looked at in it's own merits or (Feng Shui merits). Such as where is the facing d…

Dear Anon, Some information on wind chime(s):- 1. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, six represents "big metal". 2. Thus we often hear advice such as: - hang a set of six coins tied with red string or - hang a six hollow rod wind chime 2. As six represents "big metal", this big metal is particularly used to neutralise #2 sickness #5 misfortune /sickness and #3 quarrels/conflicts/lawsuits etc.. 3. A proper wind chime must not be colourful i.e. especially rainbow colours. 4. A wind chime should usually be made of: a. entirely copper plated (metallic) : traditional looking ones have a pagoda (trigram or 8 sided roof) with a ancient coin hung as the clinger. Some of these …

Dear Anon, 1. Sitting facing one's good direction is considered as "Nice-to-have" and not a "must-have". Thus, as much as we have read that we should sit facing our good direction, but many of us do not have this opportunity to do so. One way is to see if possible all four of you can or some of you can sit to beneifit your good directions. It is good to just convey this to your three other team mates whether, they want to consider this option. (It may or may not necessarily work out for all). 2. From what you had mentioned, you have limited space to work on. Given that there is no option to change; frankly, there is no miracle cure in Feng Shui for this. Especially mos…

Dear Anon, Quote: Anonymous wrote: When determining the directions in a room, do we just read from a compass? Coz I read that in feng shui, 0deg is the south. This makes me think that I need to invert the readings of a compass. Try not to be confused with the Chinese Luopan often used by Feng Shui practitioners where not exactly "0 degrees = south" but rather, the Chinese Luopan has a marking South-North. If you do not personally use the Chinese Luopan to take a compass reading, frankly, and for the purpose of convenience, many Feng Shui websites, books and calculators have already, properly made it easy for the lay person. Thus, for example, in this website, yo…

Dear Anon, Feng Shui in many instances can "boost" the luck for conception. Frankly, it depends greatly on location, location, location. Many who had seen success are those where many good Flying star numbers under the "mountain" star can be activated. For any home, HDB or landed property, proper accessment can be made to determine and activate Flying star numbers: 1. #8- current prosperity star: Mountain Star #8 and or Water Star #8 2. #9 - future prosperity star (This star (if possible) should be activated for middle aged couples trying to conceive. 3. #1 - future prosperity star. Usually effective if the Mountain star #1 is activated. Thus, one do not need to …

Dear Anon, As your personal particulars quoted to him remains unchanged, then most likely he may have made a mistake in the calculation. As once the ba zi has been properly calculated, the readings will not change. Thus, in my opinion, he may most likely have a made a mistake somewhere. As it is certainly strange to see a reading change in two different sessions for the same person. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cindy, In this sample report, (see attachment ) In general, a geomancer will select a name based on the breakdown of one's ba zi element:- Your Five Element Breakdown 1 Weak Water 4 Strongest Wood 2 Strong Fire 1 Extremely Weak Earth 0 Weakest Metal 9% 62% 25% 3% 0% This tells me that you are a Weak Water because of too little Water (9%) and Metal (0%). Your element is born in a season which is makes Water Element Weak. Thus, influencing the element strength of the other five element elements. The percentage of each element is considered after considering the seasonal strength and the number of that element presen…

Dear Steven, Generally, it is very common to live in a home where someone has died in the home. Often, if death is due to naturalcauses especially old age, no worries, here. For old homes, it is best to avoid having any of the posessions left by the person who had died e.g. his cupboard or any antique items. Sometimes, we are not sure what kind of items are left behind, if so, when we purchase such a home, try to get "vacant" posession of the home. And not keep such items. For those who can apply or use Flying Star Feng Shui; one way is to avoid an imbalance caused by too many YIN stars in a secto…

Dear Anon, Frankly, as you have mentioned, your dorm room is squarish. Many leaders (in the industry) started like yourself staying in a dorm. More importantly, mentally, one would have an idea of how, one's "work" flow is like. Asyour dorm serves both as a place of sleep and "study", try to work out the best layout based on your personal feel, liking and "habits". Since you are doing work on a laptop, some of us may feel comfortable working from our bed, while others may work better sitting on a proper table and chair. You have to see your habit and try to maximize your layout to the way you study and sleep. Some of us work better facing a window, while others may f…

The units that definitely does not have a poison arrow are thoseof #27, #28, #19 and #20 and #11 and #12 and #35 and #36. Usually for high floors, it will usually not be affected by the enclosed pool effect. Most concern for the pool effect are thoseespecially for 1st to 8th floor. In addition, most of the time, it will affect babies between a few months old to 6 months (respiratory problems). For adults it depends. #18 and #21 will getsharp angle of #19 and #20 correspondingly. A simple, car side view convex mirror can be used strategically at locations where the poison arrows are pointed at... without resorting to…

Dear Anon, 1. Frankly a small water feature is nothing more than a "play" thing.. Not effective and often, one becomes a "slave" as this small water fountain is always "thirsty"! Needs to be constantly topped up with water else it goes dry fast! Due to evaporation and air-conditioning drying the water. 2. For a proper water position, best to use Flying Star Feng Shui to determine where is the Water star #8 (current prosperity) star). 3. Similarly, you should determine where is the Mountain Star #8 and the stone can be placed at that sector. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Cecil. thank you for your fast reply. I have one more question. I have…

Dear Anon, Thank you for the illustration. The second door you mentioned in the illustration seems to be a passage way rather than a door. As the doors are on the side, I cannot see any other doors directly facing your "always" opened office room door. Thus from a shapes and forms point of view, it is perfectly acceptable to have this type of arrangement. Furthermore, your office table is away from this passage way which is good and that you had mentioned that this is an excellent facing direction for you.

Dear Anon, Usually many Feng Shui practitioners will practise: 1. Compass School Feng Shui : a. Eight House Theory or Pa Cai Feng Shui This has to do with the placement of stove/ bed arrangement/study area. If so, usually or often, there is no changes, here. b. Wall colour and wealth area Often, if the wall colour isbright yellow, bright red or bright green, then there may be some instances where there may or may not be changes to these walls. Wealth area willmost often be different under Period 8. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Our flat is build in 2002 (Period 7). Dear Anon, 1. This type of beam or supporting structure is very common. Look at it this way, this beam is very "shallow" and I believe, that if one notice carefully, when we place the bed-head, and when we place our bed-head pillow, we will never be under this beam. 2. To neutralise a beam, there are many ways to do so, in addition to what you had mentioned: 2.1 Some Feng Shui practitioners asked that a red line be drawn along the horizontal beam. This is symbolic of a line of fire to destroy or melt the beam. 2.2 quarter flower conice to hold up the beam. When you move the bed-head slightly away from the wall, this is pretty good. The above are the most common met…

Dear Esther, Usually, from a Feng Shui point of view, often, the bazi element of the person is matched with their bedroom colours. Overall, colours that often may have an impact on sickness is Bright Yellow and in some instances, Bright Yellow and Bright Red. In other instances, Bright Green is another colour to watch out. In general, safe colours are metallic colours or white or light pastel colours. Since the woodstove is black, blue is in my opinion (in general) still acceptable in the bedroom. Warmest Regards, Cecil
