thank you very much for your prompt reply. I feel more confident now to use the balcony as my direction. If I can further intrude on you, if I were to change from period 7 to period 8, some sources mentioned to change a new door, roof/ceiling and floor/carpet. As such, do I change my entrance door to a brand new door or do I change the balcony sliding doors since my direction is based on the balcony's direction? Thanks in advance. brgds, Vincent

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Does colour of the floor tiles have any impact in FS? Caused apparently my boyfriend and i chose a glossy black floor tiles for the living/dining area and all our bedrooms. Colours plays a fairly big role in the Feng Shui. As it covers a big area of the room. So yes, it does have some impact. Black is generally Water element. So this will add water to the sector of the house. Also, dark colours will darken the room compared to light colours. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Eva, 1. This has more to do with `safety' then Feng Shui. But because of this, many Feng Shui practittioners (advise) that one should not have the bedroom above kitchen stove. (Especially if it is directly. As some may argue that it may `burn' a relationship.) 2. In my personal opinion, you are not using a business stove with very high flames and is not cooking at night. 3. If you have a smoke detector, all the better. More concern is the million to one chance of a kitchen catching fire and as fire travels upwards, this is the `cause for concern. ' Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kochakorn, 1. Frankly, as you have mentioned, it is all a matter of our individual taste. 2. Most of the time, plates of china are often not too dark (perhaps this is my personal preference). But there is generally no issue with regards to Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil I'm getting a

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: thanks for your reply, is it okay to place a water feature at nortwest palace to enchance water star 9. while placing remedies or enchancers inside the palace should one apply small tai chi or one can place within the boundaries of the palace or one can place within a palace 15 degree of mountain location. Usually, for cures, you should try to go for colour scheme balancing which is the most effective to cover the entire sector of the room. Then there will be no issue in applying or placing the water feature. In general, you want to apply or place the cure as close to the 15 degree sector of the direction to be most effective. Hope that help…

Dear Cahaya Harapan, Cahaya Harapan wrote: I want to activate water star in front of my house so I bought a small waterfall. I confuse about the flow of waterfall, flowing outside or inside is the right one ? You should always remember that water is considered wealth. So ideally water should try flow inwards. To symoblise wealth flowing into the house. Should you have any water fountain, then it water should not spurt outwards. Else it wouldbe like wealth flowing outwards. Hope that helps. As most of us are aware of the holy trinity of luck; I am sure as a loving parent you have taken as much effort in your son's human or man luck factors. As for his environment, I suppose, where he spents most of his time, this is his earth luck or Feng Shui. This is equally important as some sectors may have some Feng Shui issues; and often bazi or Heaven Luck is used to try to improve and harmonize with the earth luck. This is apparently unknown, here.

Dear Andrea, 1. Yes, Lin Yun was interviewed by a newspaper reporter. Indeed he admitted in the article that it is “better to believe in yourself than him”. He said that he was in fact a “fake”. Lin Yun’s confession can be found under this link:- 1.1. In order to understand `Black Hat Sect' or BTB properly, it is best to look at it entirely from `LUCK prospective'. 2. Types of LUCK: Under Chinese divinity / Feng Shui we can broadly classify LUCK into three general groupings:- 2.1 Heaven Luck: Under Traditional Chinese methods, Ba Zi or commonly called Pillars of Destiny/Eight Characters can be used to `discover' what was given to us i.e. Heaven luc…

Dear Aloysius, This is not the first choice location is still acceptable provided it is "shielded" from the sun and rain. The altar should be placed with a solid backing. As to whether it is to be placed on the right side or left side of the balcony, so long as immediately facing the altar - we do not see any "ugly" objects e.g. drying of clothes or shoe cabinet. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Aloysius Chia wrote: Is it a good location to have your Altar place at the rectangle balcony on a 10th floor HDB flat, especially on theright side of the balcony wall.

If 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 are yang numbers, and 2, 4, 6, 8 are yin numbers, why 6 =is attributed to Qian (which is yang), 7 to Dui (which is yin), 8 to Gen =(which is yang), and 9 to Li (which is yin). It seems that number 5, =which do not belongs to any gua was interfered and disarranged the yin =yang sequence. Is there any explanation for that? Wansui! Dear All, 1. Please note that this is not Feng Shui. 2. However, this is one of favourite movies that has a good story, casts and significance/meaning to life. An inspirational show that includes Steven Segal (but briefly) 3. I searched yahoo.com and came up with a site that has a review of the show "Executive decision " by Warner Bros. There is a review at this site of this movie (DVD version):- http://www.all-reviews.com/videos-2/executive-decision.htm Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Monique, 1. It is always good to begin a home audit by doing observations to locate any Sha Qi or poison arrows, first. 1.1. Some important things to note include, any `threats' to the maindoor, through any of the windows 1.2. location of the toilets, 1.3. whether Qi enters the house and exits immediately (straight path - bad) Besides the above, do a full Shapes and Form audit of each of your rooms (where possible) looking at the position of the bedrooms etc.. (There are many traditional books on Shapes and Form or read the resources under: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/site.htm ) 2. Most of the time, if the above is done and if the house has relatively (few problems) …

1. The most common "cure" is to have:- 1.1 Installing lamp post(s) at the perimeter, so that from top view, it "forms" an outline of the home. Preferably, this perimeter light(s) are turned on say in the evening. So from an aerial view, it "makes" the house profile look "rectangular". 1.2 In addition to the above, if one does landscaping, it should try to follow the profile of the "missing" corners". Again, imagine this from an aerial view. 2. This is the best that can be done, under such circumstances. 3. In addition, if you can apply Flying star Feng Shui, try to check the qi at various sectors of the "openings" it could be a window or patio door or say main door o…

dear Anon, 1. Yes, I strongly believe that good authors often state facts. 2. Even if our homes is miles away from the sea; we are literally affected by daily high/low pressures. 3. Even the idea of full moon i.e. our moon is many thousands of mile high; yet, there were documented cases of people's mood affected by the magnetic force of the moon. We can literally see high/low tides based on the moon's gravitational pull. 4. Even the Grand Duke theory is based on the planet Jupiter .. which is said to be the biggest planet and thus have a `magnetic' influence on our planet earth. 5. Thus, one must never, never discount: Macro Feng Shui. 6. Yet, time and time again, we…

1. Frankly, your question is too general. 2. If you are really interested in a home, it is always a good investment to consider Feng Shui service like "Can or cannot buy" especially if one has superficial knowledge of Feng Shui. 3. For example; the pros and cons include:- 3.1. How suitable is the house to the breadwinner(s) 3.2. What is the Flying Star facing direction? 3.3. What is the external Shapes and Forms Feng Shui of the home or apartment like. 4. What you have mentioned is only a tiny "prick" of shapes and forms of the centrepoint + toilet + kitchen 5. In addition to 3.1 to 3.3. many other considerations include where is the stove situated; is the stove fac…

I have a similart arrangement in the cubicle. The only difference is that the columns are ROUND. How can I do something about this ? In this sitting position, I am facing East to South which is good as I'm a East Group person. Another possible cubicle without columns have a South to West direction. I am not sure which is a better choice for me. 1. More importantly; the year the home was stayed-in. Thus most likely, the TOP date. 2. Do take note that it is meant for a high-rise: flat/condo/apartment and not a landed property such as a terrace/semi-detached or a bungalow. Further to what I had mentioned; 1. House hunting report is just like one module out of the whole Holistic approach to Feng Shui. 2. For example, in accountancy; even accounting softwares have different modules for different needs; and these modules are specialised e.g. Accounts Receivable; Accounts Payable;Inventory, Summary Reports: P & L etc...

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My kitchen is located at M4-6-W3. Which is the best sector within the kitchen to locate the stove - East, North or South? In the selected sector, please advise where the knobs of the stove should be. Thanks. I can only give you some of these general guidelines as which is the best placement depends on the layout of the kitchen as well as the various people livingin the house (especially the person cooking for the family). 1. It is best to face the kitchen stove in the position that the person cooking most in the family will benefit from. This means that the direction should be best facing one of the 4 good directions of that person. If you a…

Hi Angela, Angela Le wrote: I wrote last time, but you werent' able to answer because my picture did not attach. My question was, "how would you read the main entrance if the main front door faces west and the garage faces west too, but when you park your car in the garage and use the garage door to enter the home, it falls on the SW Line. So which one is it if you use the garage door as your main entrance? West or SW? Since your home is a landed property, you take the facing from the main door entry (not from the car garage). This will also be the general facing of your home. Either way, both faces West. As such your home is considered a West house. This is the general …

Dear Cecil, Thanks a lot for your reply. My FS element is weak metal( 31st Oct 1956) and my husband's FS elementis weak water( 11th April 1953). Out main door is in 165 degrees. We both belong to west houses. I have read some books and referred to your site. The reading has aroused my interest in FS. Hence I planned to make some changes. But I am afraid to make changes without proper guidance. I cannot afford to go for paid reports as of now. With the help of your site, which is the best site for FS, I have details for my family members. My main interest is to improve our money inflow and career prospects. Now since NW and NE are our properity sector I want activate this…

Dear Anon, 1. Often, it is preferred not to have a mirror facing an open window or at the side of an open window - (based on "commonsense" approach to Feng Shui. 2. The main reason is "reflected light". Often, an external light source may inadvertenly shine into the home and is `captured' by say the mirror. If the light intensity is high, it may reflect `glare'. If we are `unfortunate' enough, we may be sitting down with the direct glare into our eyes and it feels so, uncomfortable. 3. Especially so, if there are shiny objects such as the profile of a vehicle. Light from it's body panel or windows may provide such a `glare'. 4. If you are confident that either reflected l…

Sorry, you mean opposite each other.... even if they were 6 feet apartment? Where possible, even if they are 6 feet apartment where possible, the sink with it's water pipe (hose) should not directly face the stove (HOBS).
