Dear Hemant, Frankly, there is no direct relationship between selling say a godown vs Feng Shui. A godown is especially related more with business decisions, then Feng Shui. In the holy trinity of luck: considerations include: things like your office Feng Shui, home Feng Shui.... Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: HEMANT K. wrote: I want to sell one built up godown having north facings, but despite my full effortsI am failed to getany offer, any feng shui tip so as to get earliest funds from the sale of this property. Dear Anon, Since youintend to do a major renovation, then try to select the latest date. It is good to just see which period is better. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: It is a2 story house that used to be 2separate houses, one donwstairs and oneupstair. The first story (house nr.1) was built in 1956, the second story (house nr.2) in 1981........ andifwebuy the house we would do a mayor renovation in order to conect both houses and transform them in only one house.

Dear anon, Usually, it would be good for an employer to install low height partitions at your workspace (if possible). You have not mentioned whether your work space is an open desk or already have a low height partition. If you already have low height partition, this is fairly acceptable in an office environment where one's desk is directly facing the office door. And no further needed. It is good also that your table is possible, moved slightly instead of direclty facing the office door. In an office environment, we have to understand that often staff cannot control the situation. For info, only: see attachment. Some companies use this type of workstations x 4 o…

Could you please settle a debate for me? Where is the proper placement for water features in periods 8 & 9, keeping in mind the Direct and Indirect spirits as well as the current Wang and Sheng Chi water stars? Thank you, Shaunna

Dear Anthony, Anthony L. wrote: Hi guys, I bought the standard bundle and I tried the PAID: House Hunting: Most Suitable & Auspicious House Facing Report. But the report is based on period 7 (1984 - 2003) while now we're in period 8. Are the differences between the periods significant? How do I view this in period 8 format? I look forward to any comments/answers. Thank you! Firstly, you need to know that the report will generate the best house direction depending on the house profile you created under. This means if you create a period 7 house profile, then it will generate a report that is period 7. If you create a profile under period 8, then it will generat…

Dear Linh, Please take note that you should use the conVEX mirror. And not the conCAVE mirror. In this website, under "Photo Tour".. I had several years back included pictures and description of the various mirrors. Briefly, conVEX mirror(s):- 1. Simple convex mirror surrounded by a border e.g. a red plastic border. Usually comes in two sizes, the smallest is approximately 3 to 3.5 inches. 2. Some convex mirrors are found in the middle of a bagua mirror (which has the 8 hex trigrams embeded on it). This can also be used. Nowadays, itcomes usually in yellow background. but the mirror is a polished mirror. 3. Some have a flat mirror. And sometimes surrounded with a f…

We would like to place our bed with headboard facing the South East window wall. We have an idea (please see image) to: (A) use some chest of drawers to 'back' our headboard without having to sleep directly under windows or (B) have bed under window, headboard either lower than / covering part of windows. Both ideas, we will cover the window with wooden Venetian blinds with slats upwards. The windows are 3-panel, sliding, only the left-most panel is usually opened. Can the chests of drawers actually act as 'wall' or 'support'? Please advise A or B, or any other alternatives?

Dear Anon, Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, so long as the frontage or the "head" portion of a house is not "chopped-off" to be re-renovated. For example, for some homes, the owners left the back part of the home intact but started to built a new front of the home. If so, it is still best to demolish the entire home and start from fresh again. Generally without looking into the finer details, how squarish or rectangular or how odd shaped the property is, all these will affect the final outcome as to whether we should "join" back the house. If it is just adding back walls that were previously knocked out, in general, if done properly, it may be acceptable to do so. …

Dear Cah..., I strongly suggest you go and read or re-read some of my other replies.... Clue: 1. Situational approach: No two situations or "flying star charts are" the same.... 2. Yes, try to be more conversant with the "Five Elements Concept".. 3. In a 20 year flying star chart.. there are more than 1 variable.. e.g. MS# WS# and Base #. 4. Sometimes.. when the cure is "very complicated"..... please check out my very recent posting on "Yin / Yang " concept as the higher food chain of the Five Elements concept..... If so: please evaluate what you have said " In flying star concept, we need water to activate water star and we need wall to activate mountain star, is…

Dear Cah, 1. Both Eight House and Flying star belongs to the : Compass School of Feng Shui. 2. Ask yourself: What is the underling difference between Eight House and Flying Star? 3. YES/NO? Cannot think of a difference? 4. How about Time dimension? 5. The clue, here is that the Eight House is a STATIC model. Where else Flying Star : 20 year; Yearly, Monthly, Hourly is based on slightly more dynamic time factor. 6. From the above, try to imagine for yourself which is more dominant? A dynamic system or a static system? I don't want to say further. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Cahaya H. wrote: Dear Cecil, According to eight house concept, south east sector is a …

Dear Cah, So far, this combination of stars happen to be under the 20 Year Flying Star, Period 8, West 2 & 3. The entire story, here is that under P8, West 2 & 3; unfortunately sector NW has this MS 7 WS 9 and BS 9. Thus it is NOT exactly true to say that this is a location where we can enhance. BUT rather, a location that we SHOULD neutralise bad stars. Why? #9 or the purple star 9 is = Fire element And in addition to this, this sector has twice the number of #9's (x 2) Furthermore, the combination of MS7 with WS9 reacts resulting in sexual problems. Thus, you or the Master is correct to try to introduce "Water" into the sector. Water can help to drown or re…

Dear Cah, 1. The main concern here is that #9 is a fire element. Or some call it the purple star. Where purple is also the colour of fire element. 2. In many previous messages regarding Flying Star; especially taking into consideration the 20 Year Flying star : where there are three variables: Mountain# ; Water# and Base# 2.1 Again, we must look at all these three variables in order to see whether #9 as a Water star "can be enhanced or not". 2.2 Under Period 8, even for comparing just the Mountain# with Water#; there are lots of instances where there are MS#5 with WS#9 and worse many sectors have Base#2 or #5. In this case, unfortunately, insteadof enhancing #9.. one …

Dear Xenia, To be honest, with limited information available, it is difficult to comment based strictly on Feng Shui concepts/principles or issues with it. In general, for a large bedroom, a sink is acceptable (especially nowadays, many modern homes have an attached bathroom but in addition, these larger homes with larger bathrooms have a wash or powder room type of area. In fact, it is very common to find even single storey homes with the bedroom at the frontage area of the home. Try to make the home as comfortable as possible for yourself and family members! Usually, for an old home, a fresh coat of paint, would be nice to refresh the home. And avoid too much …

Dear Anthony, Like mathematics, the 20 Year Flying Star has three variables, quickly it is the Mountain star, Water and Base star. And primarily when we engage a Feng Shui practitioner to look into the home, he/she will work out the Feng Shui qi based on these three variables. Since it makes sense that even for a Period 7 apartment, the qi will be based on this 20 Year Flying Star. Since the home is still considered as a Period 7, one has to use this as a BASE. If you are able to look at it under the Year star, then in general one should be careful of sectors like South (where the annual Five Yellow) is. In general, so even if South has good 20 Year Stars, as you have…

Dear San, 1. Sorry, I could not view the link despite cut-paste the link. 2. Actually, it is very common especially for landed properties to have bed-head resting against the window. 3. Locally in Singapore, it is also common to find some people sleep with the bedhead against the window in particular if it is landed property especially if the window bay is well shielded especially from the rain. Or shielded from heavy winds during heavy rain fall with strong gust of wind. 4. Thus, try not to be mistaken that it is "no good" to sleep with bed-head against the window especially if it is a bay window. 5. The concern is meant more for high rise living. For example, in S…

Dear Anon, 1. It is best to simply cover the big statue (if you can) rather than building a podium. 2. A simple solution is to use any clean bedsheet to cover it from top to bottom. 3. It is good to have a clean and bright room. If your room has a window, it is best to allow as much natural light into the house. 4. Usually, by moving in, for a few days, the vibes of the old tenants should be cleared. Unless, there are very old antique furnitures. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Yes, since 5 represents the floor level, you should enter it as #05-xxx. If your unit happens to be#05-01 (where 5 represents the level) and each of the units in a block are : 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 then should enter the numbers thus as #05-01. Alternatively, if your unit does not follow the above number arrangements then you may have to enter it as #05-501. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hurbert, 1. Under Traditional Chinese system:- Ba Zi is used to determine name selection. For example, if a person lacks water... a geomancer may recommend that the person have a Chinese character with the "water or shui" element in their name. In addition, Ba Zi is used widely to determine Ming or Luck and other uses includes logo selection etc.. Ba Zi uses the Five Elements Concept to determine one's element and strength e.g. strong water, weak water etc... In addition, when we look at a home we apply Compass School of Feng Shui: Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Purple star is actually "9" numbers or commonly called "9 Star Ki. It has more to do with…
