Dear Anon, For really bad stars #5 combined or inflammed by #9; it is good to control this with "moving-metal". "Moving-metal" is particulary useful since you mentioned that in addition to these two bad stars, there is a further #3 = lawsuits, quarrels star. If the bedroom is not a bedroom, then one may consider using a six-hollow-rod windchime at that specific sector. Or a chiming clock around the wall of that sector. A clock that makes mechanical movement is also acceptable. Other traditional Feng Shui cures include:- a. the placement of a hulu or bottle gourd e.g. placed at the bed side table. b. for severe cases: get a jam jar (sized bottle). place 6 copper co…

Dear Anon, Frankly, you are not alone. There are thousands and in-fact millions of people who bought homes prior-to or never even heard of Feng Shui. Or had bought their dream-home prior to consulting which is their suitable directions etc... In order to apply Feng Shui, it is best to go more on a holistic approach. As there are many (many variables) not just "one-wrong" point and oops! We are done for! For example, in many instances, even if a home does not suit us but some homes may have "superior" external shapes and forms. In addition, under Flying Star Feng Shui for the current period "Period 8" - in general; NE homes are suppose to or can benefit from good Feng …

Dear Lindy, Frankly, it is a good idea to rebuild the home entirely. Since your friend knows the history of the site; where there is no major history of bad qi other than she has no "feelings towards" the old home. As mentioned earlier, it is always better to rebuild totally or at least if rebuild partially not to touch the frontage of the building. I have produced a past link whereI told the story of how my grand pa, "chopped" off the head-of his home. No sooner had he done that and when work started on the new wing at the head-of-the house, he met with "calamity". The link is below:-http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-grandpa3.htm Traditionally, if a geoman…

Dear Anon, Most of the time, our office orientation (sitting) is constrained by either the layout of the office and the use of system furniture where we are not able to tilt our table. Only those who "own" a room may perhaps change their directions. Again, often if the furniture i.e. cabinets, sidetable and table are fixed, also difficult to change, here. However, Eight House Theory or 4Good & Bad directions has limitations, in your situation. There is no magic cure for this. Since you cannot do much, here; have to consider other situations like looking at home Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I am currently facing my 'Death' position i…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Am in a dilemma. Is it strongly discouraged for the couple who is marrying at a later time of the year to attend the first couple's wedding so as to avoid bad luck? If a wedding has to be take place within 6-months to 1 year, then it is best that both couples do not attend each other wedding. This is to avoid either couples from any inauspicious influence. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Anon, Frankly, there are many interpretations of kitchen in the "wrong" sector. Under Traditional Feng Shui, the major concern is the Kitchen and in particularly the stove at NW sector. NW is suppose to be the Heaven's gate. And under Traditional Feng Shui, it also reflects the head of the household. And when a stove is located at NW, then it is commonly called "fire-at-heaven's" gate. However, some modern Feng Shui practitioners call the SW sector the romance sector. I believe, this is what you are concerned with. As for SW = romance sector, this is usually not a key issue under Traditional Feng Shui practitioners. As mentioned, this is considered more of a "mode…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello. My boyfriend and I just moved into a new apartment. We are both two different directions. I am west and he is east. How can we decorate so that we live harmoniously? This is a very common and quite easy to solve by applying the give and take approach. 1) The house should most importantly be suitable to the breadwinner of the family since he/she earn most to support the family. So the breadwinner must get the best facing so as to get the most luck. 2) Since the breadwinner has luck for the house, therefore he/she can take a less suitable bedroom and make sure the spouse is can draw luck from the room. Since the two person are opposite,…

Dear Cam, Since the home is in escrow, do what you already. If you are applying Feng Shui principles, then the most important is firstly to check for any "threats" aimed towards the home such as a lone lamp-post slicing owards e.g. the main entrance or windows. Space-clearing is another commonsense approach to Feng Shui i.e. do not overly clutter the home, garage with too many boxes and storeaways etc... If you are still into Feng Shui, then take your time to understand key concepts like: Shapes and Forms Compass School : Eight House (like what you are doing) and if possible chart out a Flying Star chart of your home. Actually, tomake iteasy to understand justfollow this:- Individual Elementis basically the type of element youare classified under. ie if you are a weak water, therefore your individual/personal element is weak water. Guardian Element (usually yong-shen/useful/helpful/favourable element) usually means the element that is will bring you luck or help you. So if you are a weak waer, therefore metal or water element are generally your favourable element. The element you lack more…

Dear Himai, Himai G wrote: I am a strong water person with wood influence. for control, i know i should use more 'earth' and 'wood' colors, items etc... what would help me for wealth? For a strong water person, fire element is your wealth element. So when you have sufficient balance of earth and wood element to balance your chart, then you want to have more fire element. Since five element can always be found around you, ie your home, your career, your colour, people around you. You can choose any area in your life to have some fire. ie say the colour of your car you can choose to have fire element. Or choose a career in sales/marketing which is fire element. You can re…

Dear Andy, In the past, no one has ever heard of such a thing or even products using the Feng Shui name. For example, nowadays, many are ripping off others by using terms like "Feng Shui jewelery". It's the blackhole effect. What happens is that if we purchase such products, our pocket(s) will have a huge deep dark hole. And mostly, the seller benefits from this sale! For many Chinese, let's imagine or go back to our grand-parent's time or for many, our parents home. There are no such things prior to 1970's as Feng Shui crystals nor is it common place to find three-legged toads. In the past, it is widely common to find more popular stones such as jade and diamonds. But…

I have a similart arrangement in the cubicle. The only difference is that the columns are ROUND. How can I do something about this ? In this sitting position, I am facing East to South which is good as I'm a East Group person. Another possible cubicle without columns have a South to West direction. I am not sure which is a better choice for me. Dear CM, For a home, you should be looking at the micro-level e.g. your actual condo or office unit's main door to check on suitability. Sometimes, when the building main entrance is looked at, it is often to apply Flying Star Feng Shui to look or study the qi of the building e.g. where to place a suitable water feature outside of the building and/or to build landscaping to suit the flying stars. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Eg. I am an East-group person, is it ok to choose a home/office where: - the building's main entrance is facing NE, SW, W, NW, - but the actual condo/office unit's main door is facing N, E, S, SE?

Dear Patricia, Yes, in particular, even if your home has a combination of ten, it is good to review the layout plan to see if the home could or could not benefit from a change of Period. For example, as you had mentioned theparticular concern iswhcih part of the home the north #7's fall into. If this is the living room or activityarea orroom, then, one may seriously have to consider "flying" toperiod 8.Again, you need to study the Period 8 chartto see if the layout plan is suitable for activating double auspicous #8 at the South sector as well as other good sectors like SW and West. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: I live in a south 2 period 7 house in all rooms there i…
