Dear Lousy Luck, Lousy Luck wrote: Hi, is it advisable to mount this painting on a ledge on the ceiling behind the main door (the phoenixes will be facing out of the house)? or should i put other image, like a painting of a dragon? Generally, the phoenix painting should face inwards. It should not be facing out of the house. A painting of the dragon would be more appropriate if you the painting is facing out of the house. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Miriam, mir. station wrote: i'm hoping you can help me. i am moving to a new home next week. the master bedroom only has space for the headboard of the bed to be on the south wall. is there any cure for the poor placement of the bed? due to the size of the room the bed can only go there. i do not want to develop sleep problems! As you mentioned, since that is the only space you can place the headboard, there isn't much else you can do to position in another better favourable direction. So, in this case, there is nothing else you can do about this except to improve other areas of the room that you can correct. For example, make sure the room have a suitable colour s…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My greetings for 2007 to you and all. Are there any taoist amulets or blessed papers you have one can print for this year? thanks Feng Shui is not really a religion. True Feng Shui is all about best colour scheme, best placement, most suitable house to create a harmonious environment etc. No charms or religion or worshipping are involved. True feng shui also do not rely on any feng shui items (ie 3 legged wealth toad etc). Since you are looking or taoist related items, you would be better off consultinga taoist priest. They will be in a better position to provide you with what you are looking for. Hope that that helps. Warmest Regards Robe…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I would like your advise as to what animals are friendly towards a red rat? Based on general rat horoscope signs, then you can refer to this link:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/astrology/astro/crat.htm Which means Rat / Dragon / Monkey horoscope signs should generally be better match. As for the "red" rat, I presume you are refering to a Fire rat? If so, that depends on whether you are a weak fire or strong fire rat. The best element compatibility depends on for weak fire, would be like wood/fire. So when you put together with your favourable horoscope, it can wood/fire dragon or wood/fire monkey for example. While the best element compa…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Could you please tell me what is the 8 aspirations chart report, 8 house report and yearly flying star for? and I would like to know which report takes priority when I use it. The order of important is as follows:- 1) Flying Star is to assess the luck of your home using a mathematical formula. This tells you where is your illness/misfortune stars and even where is your wealth star. Any inauspicious star has to be neturalised while any wealth star should be activated. So you need to correct this irregardless of whether a room is suitable to a person or not. 2) Eight House is to tell you whether a house suits you or not, or whether there is a…

Dear Anon, Anon wrote: Hi, heard from some geomancer that it is not good to use a bed that has no legs because there is no path below the bed for air to flow through. Is this true? Yes, that is true. A commonsense reason why it is better to have bed with legs, is because it is far easier to keep the room clean if you have beds with beds as opposed to those box bed. This way, you can keep the floor clean and avoid any built up of dust/germs/bed bugs etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear John, John Low wrote: Where is the best place to put my small fish tank? The best place to put water feature to activate your water wealth for your flying star would be where your auspicious water star is found. This means that if your house is a period 7, then the sector containing the water star 7 (is your current prosperity for a period 7 house), and star 8 is your future prosperity, while 9 is your future future prosperity. So if a water feature is placed in the sector containing the waters star 7/8, this would be your two best sector to activate your wealth based on your flying star. Generally, in a house the fish tank is usually best placed in like the livi…

Dear Anon, Anon wrote: Recently my mother consulted a geomancer on my home fengshui. After giving my birth information, I was told that my gua no. is 8 and I belong to the eath element. So the geomancer started to tell me to put in some colours which is favourable to eath element, such as red, orange and yellow. Then I tried your free report in this website and also was found out that my gua no. is indeed 8. Based on my pillars of destiny, I was told that I belong to the strong fire element and suitable colours would be those belong to earth or water elements and not the fire element colours as proposed by the geomancer. Hi, i need a few advice on my kitchen renovation problem. Thank you for your time. My husband gua number is 3, mine is 4. Currently I am moving the kitchen from the 1st floor to the 3rd floor. My new kitchen will be a-U shape kitchen, at north-east-south wall. At first, I want to put the stove facing South direction (ie,on the North wall). Is it ok? As the stove knob's will be facing the same way as the front door? The front door of my house is facing South. However, if I put the stove on South direction, it will be the exact opposite to the sink. The sink has been installed, so I can't move it anywhere else. I've read that fire can't be placed opposite water. Is there any…

Greetings! My girlfriend and I are possibly going to be moving into a period 7 house facing N2. According to our chart the period star and water star of each sector adds up to a "sum of ten" and appears to be very auspicious (if activated properly). I'm a little concerned though because it is a period 7 house with double 7's in the water and mountain positions of the facing palace. Does the double 7 override the sum of ten at the door? And do I need to be concerned with whether this could create bad chi for us in this period? I've also read that you need to have good form to take advantage of the sum of ten. The front yard has a big tree close to the house but not blockin…

Dear Wong Wong, wong wong wrote: how to analyse the 10 luck pillar? year luck pillar? Frankly, this requires you to understand how to read a ba zi chart. There are so many things you need to understand before you can interpret the chart. So it is going to be hard to explain how read it. Basic fundamentals (in a nutshell), if the element of that pillars is suitable to you, that means that generally it may be a good year. Then you have to consider whether like there are any clashes/harms or any special stars etc. If you are do not know how to read a chart, then you better see professional consultation services to let the professionals do it for you. Dear Fenny, Traditionally, you can try purchasing a small foldable pen-knife. Wrap it in a cloth material and it is sewn into the pillow casing. Warning: Make sure that the pen-knife is closed shut and the casing is padded with cloth. It is suppose to curb dreams. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Edited by Robert: Since you have so many personal questions, it may be better you seek professional consultation service as not all questions many be easily answered through seeking free advise. As in a free advise, most advise is given based on general information provided. I haven't yet really got time to read through your entire questions. But because you ask so many questions in a single post it is almost like posting 8 separate questions. So often we do not answer these questions first due to the fact that we could have answered many more simple questions with the same time spent. So if urgent, please get a professional conslutation service. Dear Masters Cecil &a…

Ideally, the center of the house should be left empty as possible, as that is what we call the centerpoint where all the influence meet. Sometimes, if the flying stars of the house is such that there is inauspicious stars at the center location that needs to be trapped. Then it is still ok to have like a stairway located there if there is like a stairway cupboard to help lock up the bad stars. Currently, you mentioned th…

Good afternoon, will you please tell me whether the main door and a centre of a house have a same importance in feng shui. In general, if the house is built in period 8 and there are two choices between the facing direction of the house (NE or SE) which one is more auspicious? Do the birth dates of all occupants need to be taken in account or just the birth date of the head of the family? Thank you. Stella
