Dear David, Teo Tai Wei David wrote: I have read up some article on feng shui that it is not advisable to keep aquarium in the bedroom and I am currently keeping 5 fighting fishes as pet. I have remove it and place it at my kitchen near my washing machine now. They are all housed in small jars with no pump and running water and thus the aquarium is a still water condition. Would they affect my house feng shui? Thank you. If you like it, there is no harm keeping fishes as pets. The only issue, is that such water feature especially large aquarium should not be keep in the bedroom. The reason is rather logical also, you see water in the fish tank tends to give off certain…

Ihave a problem to determine if the lake is considered to be behind or at the front of my terrace house. My main entrance faces my car porch and opposite are other terrace houses. There is only a small window on this side apart from the main door. Upon entering the main door is the kitchen + toilet + maid room, followed by dining hall and then living hall. My living room has large glass window and sliding door and it overlooks a 20ft garden and about 5ft below the garden is a jogging track as well as open space of about 33ft followed by a hugh lake. If the main door is considered as the front of the house, then the lake is at the back which is bad feng shui. However i…

Please help as the kua numbers are total opposite for the 2 genders of the same date of birth. Thank you To be frankly, such question can be controversial depending on how you look at it. Personally, for megiven that all the feng shui concepts such as ba zi/eight house is to chart like your luck and suitability. The information is based assessed based on the gender, date and time of birth from when you are born. So I would have to…

Dear Respected Sirs, I am finalising the design for a new house, and I am having difficulty interesting the architectin Feng Shui considerations. Attached are two images, the first of the original house design, the second with an alteration to the staircase, amongst other things. The architect said he had been told that a staircase could face the front door directly (which I realise is a very undesirable option) as long as a large statue or water fountain was placed between them. He later agreed to modify the design, and produced a curving staircase as shown in the second attached image. My two questions are: 1. Does the curving staircase solve the problem - ie, i…

Good morning! I am new to this forum and thank you in advance for your help) I was going through the past postings and came across the below and have further questions please. Are you saying that IF you have poison arrows pointed at your house such as electrical poles, sharp corners from other homes, church steeples, streets that end up across the street in front of your home and so on....that you should put up a bagua concave mirror foreach situation? For example....I have several electrical and/or telephone poles spaced out about 8 feet apart across the street. One of them has a transformer box thingie at the top with a big wire or cord that hangs over the street an…

I am very keen in getting a tattoo on the lower back and not bigger than our palm size, the design is based on the "karma" word, but i am not sure whether it'll be in chinese or sanskrit. My friend told me that tattoos will change a person's luck, so I am concerned and unsure if it will be a good idea to get one for myself. I'm born in 1985 and a female. Good day, A caged bird was once in our living room and we decided to put it inside a room. What is the best place in the house for it? Also, our friends are slowly dissapearing from our life, is this somehow related? We also do not have a lot of time to spend out of the house since we work at home taking care of old people.

Hello Cecil, I am new to Flying Star Feng Shui and want to know if I should be supporting the facing side of the house by using water outside. If I have a 4 7 8 combination will the water not enhance the mountain wood? By adding fire/earth to enahnce the earth is this not reducing any water outside? Also if I have a pond at the back of the house and this is meant to be sitting Mountain is this bad? Thank you

Dear Anon, Anon wrote: I was planning on getting a small dragon around my left wrist, around 1' in width. Is this good feng shui, bad, or neither? And is there a particular position (if possible) the dragon should be in order for it to be good feng shui? I mean so far tatoo has always been associated with bad things. So really, even though there isn't anything about feng shui and tattoo. It would seem more like it a tattoo will more likely bring about bad influence rather than good influence. So not likely to see what good luck it will bring. Anon wrote: And is there a particular position (if possible) the dragon…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Me and my Husband are western persons but our bedroom is located in our disaster sector what could i do to prevent bad luck?! Eight House repesents suitability. It is really hard to fix it except to minise the use of the room if possible. Here are some of the other areas you should look at to attempt to compensate the luck from other factors:- 1) If possible locate the bed facing a direction that is favourable for your sleeping position. So even if the room is not so suitable, at least you benefit from the better sleeping position. 2) If the room is located where the direction is favourable to your ba zi. With many FS sellers in the market, how do we know which one has the proper products and process for cleansing (do they have any standardize certificate?) 3. What is the process to do our own cleansing to remove bad energy / history on the items to prevent harm in the case that we receiving the items as a gift and we not su…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am born in Western calendar 6/23/1982 on a free report it shows my element as Fire on others it shows that my element is Water for all 1982. Can someone explain? 1982 is a Water dog year. So if you take the year of birth as a basic element you are born in a water element year. However, in ba zi, we take the day of birth as your true element of the day. Meaning to say that you are born in the Fire day in a Water year. This is because even in the year, there can be a water/wood/fire/earth/metal element person. So that day element represents the most accurate form of the element of birth. So you are essentially a Strong yin Fire born in the …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My main door faces NE and it's missing the North Corner. What type of cure can I place to help with this. There are a few solutions for solving a missing corner. 1) For landed property: a) You can extend the roof to cover the missing area so that it no longer becomes a smissing corner from the top view. - Best solution. b) Create landscaping or rock landscape to project the outline of the missing corner to cover it. Or at least have a concere flooring to cover the missing area. 2) For Apartment - Mirrors placed on the wall of themissing corner can help toextend themissing corner. Can you please tell me whether we should rather start building our new house in January 2007 or March 2007? From the flying star perspective, any house built after 2004 will be a period 8 house. After that, you just need to find a good date that is auspicious to both. To find out which months is better, you may need to check the ba zi luck forecast for the year 2007 to see which month is better for him. Theba zi monthly forecast (which is only available for paid ba zi premiumclients). Anyway, I did a quick check for you on the breadwinner usually your husband (23 Feb 197…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I find the site very informative. I would like to know how exactly when you advise to map the house plan with the generated report. The example given was a north house and as the map of the house also faces north. What about other facing eg. west house or east house? Do we take themain front door as north though it is a west or east house report? You need to first determine the North direction of the house. Then divide the house from the centerpoint into 8 direction. Then orientate the eight house or flying star chart so that the North correspond to the North of the layout. Then you will be able to know which sector is what direction and how i…

Dear Chris, Chris Yeo wrote: I am interested in buying a condo on the 14th floor whosehall and 2 bedrms face a HDB carpark where the cars when moving in the carpark, would face it directly. Pls let me know if there is any cause for concern. If you are on a low floor (below 5 level), you will be affected by it. Those, staying in the 2nd and 3rd floor will be worst hit. Since you are staying on 14th floor, it will not impact you any more, as you are too high up for anything to have much impact for your unit. So it should not be a problem for you. Hope that helps.
