Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: We bought a new house. The main door is facing NW. Heard the 'wu-huang-sha' (5-yellow-sha) is on NW this year 2005 so it is not good to renovate. Is that ok if we start the renovation now but only move in next year (2006) after Lunar New Year? Firstly, is this a period 7 (1984-2003) house or period 8 (2004-2023) house. The reason I ask this is because, if it is a period 7 house or earlier, then any major renovation work done will change the house period. So the luck of the entire house might change for the better or worst depending on the charts. Generally, if you have a star 5 in the main door this year, of course, the worry would be that i…

Dear Maria, Maria Lourdes Sinahan wrote: How can I (yi) reduce the harm inflicted on me by wei person. What does it mean "To reduce tension between wei and yi, one should arm oneself with yi?". Frankly, it is harder to reduce any harm that between two person by using yi. This is because, in terms of ba zi, a harm is where two animal signs conflict. And to neturalise such an effect, it is said you need a 3rd animal sign that helps to resolve the conflict. This is really hard to always have a 3rd party animal sign in order to create harmony. Thus, a better way is based on the two element of the ba zi. ie one is weak water another is strong wood. Therefore the binding ele…

Dear Master Lee My Kua Nbr is 1. My office door facing inside out is " East " Base on my Kua Nbr, the lucky directions are Sheng Chi (SE), Nien Yen (S), Tien Yi(E) and Fu Wei (N). I am a little confuse -When we says Sheng Chi location is always at the front of the house /office - do we refer to the living hall or the entrance of the house/office or should be base on the 8 mansions layout. Question: What if the front location is not the SE direction. How should I activate the Sheng Chi direction in this case.. Is it correct to use the 8 mansions formula base on the total layout of the unit and locate the SE facing to put the auspicious items or sub divide the room…

Dear Marilyn, Marilyn Ong wrote: We love each other very much and there's no problem with our relationship but everything else is going bad. Our house was bulgarized (all my wedding and dowry jewelries were stolen), I miscarried 2x, and although we have good income, it seems that we can't save. There's always something bad happen and we have to spend. Frankly, it sounds more like a house feng shui problem, than anything else. As your relationship is ok, it would seem more like maybe there is just a bad robbery star in your house feng shui or very bad suitability to the house. This also can happen for houses located in an area where there isn't adequate security. If oth…

This depends on the whether the layout. Some layout is such that the facing of the house is better taken from where most like comes into the house. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Thank you for your time. I am selling a home in California, the front door does not face the street, this seems like a benefit is that correct? If so how can I use this to my advantage in marketing my property? Frankly, as long as there is no road cutting towards the house or curving into the house then there is no sha qi towards the house. Therefore, there should not be any major sha qi from that point. But this is a very common feng shui benefit. Therefore, if you do want to use feng shui in your marketing of your property, you should be wanting to list it's major or uniquefeng shui benefit rather than to list all the minor benefit. Hope …

Thank you, Master Lee, for your reply. I will let you know how it goes. Am getting ready to place new staircase, and needed to know info. I have not used the Luo Pan before, just an ordinary compass (am a skilled forester so can use a compass easily) I was confused because the book had a person standing inside the house facing out the main door holding the compass, then a few page later showed the person standing in front of the house, facing the front door, holding the compass toward the front door! So you can see my confusion. I use your website very much, and also really enjoyed the auspicious day reading. I would like to eventually take classes from your site and gai…

This is because most chinese believes feel that having to deal with nails or sharp tools can often lead to miscarriage. So not really a good idea for you to participate in carpentry works. Best to leave it to other family members in the house or wait until you have given birth. Rus Chua wrote: I would also like to seek professional help in choosing the…

Dear Camelia, Camelia Estrada wrote: I am in the process of buying a new home. Each home has a model number. Should I consider the model # as important as the future street number and evaluate it on your house # section? Frankly, house number plays the least amount of impact on the house luck. The external shapes and form and the feng shui of the house itself is most important. Most will focus on the unit number only if there are two units of the exact same layout ie one is #04-01 the other is #08-01. Say you have such a choice then, you want to check to see which is better luck. In most cases, auspicious number analysis can be subjective. For example, if going just…

However, im now more worried as u also mentioned: A. suitability of the house for the breadwinner B.favourable bedroom for breaswinner, etc i'm only owner and living alone with flatmate so i am main breadwinner. I just can't see the logic of this....so wanted to seek your opinion. Thanks Frankly, whether or not a person can win lottery determines on luck. Individually, each person have certain amount of luck. Whether or not one will win depends on who's luck is best among the people who buy the 4D/Toto. Which is why it is so hard for most people to even touch a small prize. And why most of the time gambling isn't a guaranteed way to make money. In fact, you are more likely to lose the money you gamble …

Dear Anon, Frankly, there are a few ways to determine a good date:- 1. For most people using the Tong Shu helps them to generally find a good date. 2. Others based on the full moon or half moon. Normally, 1st or 15th of the month are generally considered auspicious dates. 3. More personalised analysis by considering the individual ba zi in addition to key tong shu event. Our website uses this method so it is like having a personalised forecast of best dates just for the two person being analysed. Either way, as long as you it is done properly, tends to be able to find a good date for you. I won't worry too much if you cannot change the date as you can also attempt t…
