Your question is very similar to this:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=31267&new= Hospitals and Doctors need the result of a triage. Cars that has problems (e.g. error codes) or fall sick also needs to be plugged in and a triage done. Today, if Jesus was suppose to be driving a people's car such as a Volkswagen VW; and if the car fail to start; he (Jesus) won't know the problem. He will have to approach "his mechanic" and ask for the above troubleshooting.... Even Moses and the ten commandments on tablets; may have to approach Steve Jobs upstairs to plea with him to have the ten commandment tablets be CONVERTED into IPAD 1, 2 an…

Dear JL, 1. The main purpose of all Feng Shui theories is to correct imbalances in the Five elements. 2. Under the Flying Star School of Feng Shui, for example if there is an imbalance e.g. a Sickness (2) star and a Misfortune (5) star. If the location happens to be the bedroom, one has thus to cure the imbalance e.g. placing 6 coins at that sector to cure it. Here, an imbalance is `calculated' and thus a remedy is used to neutralise the imbalance. 3. Many a times, when one usually fall sick, the above would most likely be the cause. Here, we take action to cure it for a specific reason. Being healthy afterwards, can be indirectly related to `fertility'. 4. Many Feng Shu…

Dear Anon, 1. The most common method is to tie the coins through the centre square hole where all six coins overlap each other either in a single row or a `circular' formation. 2. What I have done (as shown in the Conference: Photo Tours) is another method where the three coins x 2 sets spread are spread over a Red Packet (or Red Paper). 3. You can still bind the coins by placing them on top of each other. This is not the norm but symbolically, they are still 6 coins. 4. Some cautious Feng Shui practioners may if they are too ingrained in using the coins as mentioned under Para 1. But usually, your method should work the same way, unless you do not use 6 coins. Warmest R…

Dear Anon, In the past, particularly in China, the best sites were chosen for a city e.g. Canton, Fujian etc... In this case there is not much choice to have houses built near to a volcano. One way to see it is to apply the 33 percent ruleset. The roof is so tiny and it is not going to affect the environment. Even if it is red colour. Rather, it is the threat of the volcano that can change things. Look at it this way, if the volcano is going to erupt, it will with or without the red roof Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Patrick, You can find out more about the significance of missing corners under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm In some homes, what may be assumed to be missing corners can alternatively instead be `protrusions'. If anyone is not sure, whether your house has `missing' corners or `protusions' can scan and attach for me to comment. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. In the Chinese metaphyics, there are three kinds of luck:- 1.1 Heaven Luck or born with (analysed thru Ba zi) 1.2 Earth Luck or Feng Shui of a home or office 1.3 Human or Man Luck. (Relationships with family members etc..) 2. Here, 'Luck is against you' refers to one's person Heaven luck is not so lucky. Thus, in the specific 10 year luck period, one is not born with a "silver spoon" nor have the "silver spoon" luck during that 10 year period. 3. Thus, there are those who may not have good Heaven Luck, but have good family bonding, relationship support may even trascend even if one may not have that good earth luck. 1. Feel free to use the free tools available in our website to check your ba zi information or your lunar birthdate:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports.htm 2. Recent years, someone discovered a writing in an ancient tomb with regards to interpretting whether one will have a baby boy or girl. In fact, there are many sites which had sprouted using this formula. Try to do a Search under Google or Yahoo for such sites. 3. Besides Para 2, some say the type of fruits one eat can help... etc... Good Luck!

Dear Anon, Thank you for the link to the sitemap. However, there is no compass marking on the map thus cannot see the perspective from the Compass School. From (only) a Shapes and Forms perspective, without considering where is the afternoon or morning sun, the smaller units #07, #11 and especially #12 and #17 or #14 and #15 looks more promising as #08 seems to have majority of windows facing the opposite #05. Yes, although construction began in 2001-02, but because since no one has yet stayed in the home, it should be considered as a Period 8 home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mogford, In my opinion, if one considers a small apartment i.e. studio / bachelor's apartment: 1. Usually, the Feng Shui of the building and site should be considered. As this has the greatest influence on the unit i.e. or small apartment. 2. It is difficult to apply Feng Shui concepts especially the Flying Star and even the Eight House theory especially since the apartment is small. However, these concepts can be applied but as mentioned under Para 1; in my opinion, it is still best to relate it to the entire building. 3. One has to remember that majority of times, Feng Shui is applied to a large area and is used to find a city. 4. Under micro Feng Shui, it is the …

Hi Master, Yes, there are 3 openings. One of them is the main door (common lift landing area for the 4 units), another opening is a side window in the hall but facing the next block, and the last opening is the one with bedroom window(and a wider hall window) facing the pool and club-house. Best regards, Tim

In my opinion, it is best not to look at the facing direction on a "piece-meal" basis" only. Recently, I had posted a "checklist" of activities that is based on important Feng Shui concepts:- 1.1 For example, your home should also start with how and where the drainage of your home drains out of your home. In all homes, usually there are two or three drainage-out of your home that conveys Wealth and Power and Authority for those staying in the home. Other exits of drainage may lead to poverty etc... 1.2 In addition, an East facing home usually will be "bathed" by sunlight in the morning and the area behind can be affectd by afternoon sun. Considerations of the bedroom,…

Dear Chandra, A hallway does not create Sha Qi (negative Qi). However, because of its shape, Qi cannot properly circulate. The most common remedy by many Feng Shui practititioners (provided the hallway is not too narrow) is to place plants spaced out along the hallway to `slow' down the Qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi gerret, What cecil wrote in the previous post is true. Here is my point of view. The below is apply to hotel rooms. 1) Avoid choosing room that is at the end of the hallway. 2) Avoid windows which is shaded by trees. This may cause the room to be too YIN. My personal opinion. Steven

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I planned to buy a house. Reading a feng shui article, my favorable fengshui direction is NE. Is it the directionmy house facing on ormy housesitting on?Please your advise, thanks. A lot of terms used by other practitioner can be confusing especially when you come to facingsitting. This is because you have to also make sure that you are using the right orientation of the compass. Most will use the Chinese compass, which is South-North orientation which can add another level of confusion if you are not careful. However, our website standardize all the flying star/eight house chart based on a normal western compass. This means that if the chart …

Dear Anon, Please goto this conference: Feng Shui Tips & Guidelines You can read the two articles found immediately when you first goto the above conference:- Part I - Facing direction of a home Part II - Facing direction of a home I hope these two articles will clearly help you to understand what is considered as the "mouth" of the home as used by Flying Star Feng Shui. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I'm quite confused about how to identify the facing of my main door. Dear May-Ying, 1. If one is using the Kua method or the East/West Group. 2. It is preferred to look at the suitablility of the house with regards to:- 3. The breadwinner. Majority of the time, it is the husband. (Nowadays, it can be the wife. Especially if the husband is a homemaker or if he earns significantly much lower salary). For example, it is good to select a house with the main entrance that suits the breadwinner. 4. Next, try to see if each of the bedroom can `fit' each family member. This so especially for the children. For the husband and wife, it is preferred that combinations e.g. prosperity (husband) / wife (irritation) Or any other combinations with good se…

Dear Sreekumar, Sreekumar K wrote: I am a strong metal person with kua number 6. What all gadgets shall I use to enhance my lucky directions and what shall do about my unlucky directions? The only way you can benefit from a lucky direction is simply to use it. if North-West isone your lucky direction. So if your house facing North-West for example, you will benefit from it based on your direction. Or if your bedroom is located within that the NW sector, you will be staying in a favourable room. As for unlucky direction, you would probably want the unlucky direction to fall under like storeroom or toilet or less commonly used area. The eight house is a very simple con…

Dear Sue, In a broad sense, both statements are correct. Usually, you need a competent Feng Shui practitioner to do a Feng Shui for an entire building. The practitioner not only takes into consideration the main entrance of the building but also the frontage. He/She also do an environmental scanning. Some Feng Shui practioners use only Shapes and Form here. While others combine Shapes and Form with Compass School techniques such as an extension of the Flying Star of the interior of a home to this building. In your case, you most likely be concerned with the interior assessment of your home. Unless you hire a Feng Shui practitioner who most likely will also do an overall a…

Dear Sunny, Yes, the staircase which is directly facing the main door is considered Sha Qi and is `bad' because, it is said to create a `disturbance' of the flow of Qi from the main entrance to the interior of the home. The most effective method is to use a screen between the door and the staircase. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, So far, I not come across any FS practioner use a paper dragon to neutralize the poison arrow. One reason is because objects are easier to use i.e. and can easily be shifted to point to the poison arrow. But do becareful if one is using a dragon because, it should not be in the path of `movement' in the home e.g. placed on a table and aims through the living room to the poison arrow. It has to be placed in such away, that it is nearest e.g. the window (where movement along this line is `rare'). In my personal opinion, as mentioned above, I have yet to come across anyone who uses a paper dragon. Therefore cannot truly comment on its `effectiveness'. Warmest Re…
