Hi Christine, christine palmer wrote: I have been trying to sell 2 out of state properties. will either sell in the next 30 or so days? Or any advice on how to sell them? You should understand that Feng Shui by no means a miracle cure for all problems. In terms of selling property, probably some of these practical points will help you more:- 1. Ensuring the place you are selling looks clean. Or give it a fresh coat of paint to make it look new. 2. Make use of the strengths of a building to sell it (ie located near like public transport - trains, convienent location, near schools etc). 3. Get a good property agent who has lots of contacts can improve the sales. Other…

Can you advise, normally how far a distance from mywindowshould I use to check for posion arrows? It really depends on the shape of the building. From what I can tell if the landing air strip points to your home, then yes, this might be considered a posion arrow. If not, it depends on the building, whether there is any corners pointing or cutting into your home. The main thing with air base is often the sound pollution if any. Just like sun light which is considered a sha qi because of the h…

Hi Cheryl, cheryl ludwig wrote: This is my question. I am planning on buying a tract of land and building a house on it. How do I go about knowing which direction everything should be in, in addition to where to place living room, kitchen, bedrooms (2), etc. ? Unfortunately, each house is unique as such there will not be a single perfect template that you can refer to. The only way you can get a perfectly designed house is to seek a professional home consultation to help you make recommendations on your home so that it sui…

Hi Anon, In terms of beams, ideally it is best not to be able to see it if possible. Anonymous wrote: We have just finished building our dream house, actually its a loghouse so the problem is we have big beams over our beds and in the living room area, also we have a big log postsupporting the secondfloorareain the middle of the living room. So usually, two most efficient ways to go about it is to either have a false ceiling which will hide the beams. Or to have a bed with those canopy beds which you can place like curtain or cover on top. That should help you shield the beams from your view when you are sleeping on the bed. These two are two more practical ways rather…

Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: I came across one of your articles which seemed to say that it is not quite good to have a bedroom above the kitchen. I'm not sure why but my new master bedroom happens to be above the kitchen. What shall I do? Yes. The reason behind it is simple. Since the kitchen is below the bedroom, the likelyhood of a fire to start under the kitchen would be very much higher. As such becomes a pontential danger to the people sleeping above. The most simple and practical way to solve this threat is to install smoke detectors. This will at least alert you in case of such a situation. In order to fix the leak, can we put a altar facing the main entrance for example: Kuan Kung ? I was told to hang a pa kua in front of my main entrance door as my house is facing a triangle roof of neighbour's house however i've also noticed that my neighbourhang pa kua because her house also facing my house with a triangle roof. 1) How do these pa kua work to each other? 2) I've seen some of the house, it's design has two roofs (Ground and 1st floor). How many pa Kua can we hang in a house? Can they hang two pa kua at Ground and 1st floor? Please advise. Thanks. Regards, Rachel

Hi Anon, Nntp Guest wrote: My boss upon seeking their master's advice, put a 6ft tall plant outside my room. According to my colleague, this is to prevent the person in that room (i.e. now its me) to leave the company. This means that I am stuck with this company whether I like it or not. And I have been feeling uncomfortable since the plant was placed outside my room. Is there a way to counter this and make me feel better working in that room? As you are only an employee in the office, it is difficult for you to put or suggest removal of the plant. So probably only thing you can do is attempt to add Metal to balance the plant. One suggest would be to have a 6 coins wit…

Hi Anon, Anonymous wrote: If you have small creekback of your house or source of water feature in front of your house.Does itmakes any difference which way water flow isgood orbad? Yes, the flow of any water feature is important. This is why there is the shapes and form concept about Water Courses. See this link for some details:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-wcourse.htm For example, even if you put an external water feature, it is good if the flow of the water is flowing into the house rather than outside of the house. Water flow out of the house means your wealth leaking out, while a water flow into the house means wealth flowing into the house.…

Dear Robert, thanks for your advice. Understand that it is best that the bed should face the bedroom door so that we can see whoever comes into the room. Can we place the bed such that is back is on the wall of the bedroom door? Why is this bad and what bad luck will it bring to the owner? Thanks.

Don`t think too much about all those stars! They are not too dangerous as we used to think. The worst of them is 5 so it is the only star we should think of. It is in NW of each house this year and we know what to do with this. What about your plants... You can place them anywhere you like but in the bedroom.Justtake a good care of your plants. If they are good looking and healthy it is good Fengh Shui. A bedroom is the only place where it doesn't have to be any plants.

Dear Anon, It is of course nice to have everything perfect. However, in reality, this isn't always possible. There will bound to be some imperfections in pre designed homesunless you are rich enough to construct your own perfect home. Dear Ann, Ann H. Huynh wrote: I understand that when looking for a piece of land to build a house on, the frontage of the lot needs to be narrower than the back/rear. Is there any truth to this? Basically, the one to be most concern is to have a frontage or opening which is larger than the back/rear. This is because it is like you have a head that is too large for your body. Imagine if you have a head larger than your body, it will be a burden to your body in terms of being able to balance yourself properly when walking. Thus, it is more ideal if you have a frontage that is narrower than the back. Of course, each plot of land is unqiue so you have to see each plot to b…

I can't seem to place them in an appropriate place as I do not want to destroy the 8WS & 8 MS yet wouldn't wood neutralize the 2 star? Generally, plants are always good in terms of feng shui. Most of the time most plants if any should be placed in the garden or balcony area. This is practical for it makes it easy to maintain and well as create a very nice garden environment for the balcony area which is extremely pleasing to look when you look from the living room area. Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: Are dreams a part of feng shui. Human mind are so complex that no one is still able to comprehend how dreams work. However, I would classify dreams which appear to come true as personal intuition or 6th sense at work. Many a times, whensomething bad is about to happen to people (especially those closest to us), we somehow have some form of intuition which will give us advance warning. Most of the time it is dreams or sometimes it is like your eye twiching constantly. Since everyone has some form of person intuition or 6th sense (only how weak or strong for some person). Often even in Feng Shui, when we often say that the best way to te…

Dear Master Lee, We would like to seek your advice. 1) What should I consider as our 'main door'? Is it a) the front door which we enter from b)the balcony/windowsthat has most light coming in c)Or any other locations (eg HDB block/lift direction?) Pls see pix 'N2C27_block202Ae' & 'N2C27_block202Be' & 'N2C27_siteplan_202A-B'. 2) Based on Blocks 202A (units 571 & 581), and 202B(Units 66 & 76) - which block/unit would be best for us? My partner/breadwinner Kua # is 9, mine is 7. 3) Block 202A Unit 571 is 'partially missing' the 'wealth corner'. What can we do to rectify this? As this is outside of the flat, and we're not on the ground floor, we cant…

It's about 45 degrees facingfrom the side of the headboard (above headboard are windows). Since you cannot remove the mirror, then there is very little options that can be suggested even if the mirror is inauspicious. However, based on your diagram. I think it should still be ok. At least it is not located where there is a window directly opposite the mirror which would be worst. The other good thing I can see is at least by having the custom-made dressing table at a 45 degree angle, it at least does…

Hi Angie, Anonymous wrote: Can I place a Fish Tank infront of the house main door? And it is theside of the fish tank facingthe main door. I believe that there is definately no issue in how you place your fish tank as long as the corners of the fish tankdoes not create a poison arrow or sha qi against other key areas in your home. As to whether it is auspicious to place it at your main door area of the home, then you will need to check with like the flying star analysis of your home to see if the stars present are suitable for having a fish tank. Such as if there is a water star 8, then yes most probably it will be an auspicious wealth sector. However, if it is a auspic…

Edited by Robert: Please note that this isa free advise forum, I will only be assisting on the portion regarding the main door/frontage question. The rest is more towards a paid consultation (House Hunting service) than a simple advise. Hi Master Lee, My partner and I have shortlisted 3 flats for our possible first home. My partner (breadwinner) is a Kua #9 (South), while I'm a Kua #7 (West). Our good/bad directions are opposite of each other. When analyzing the locations, we were confused if we should use the main door / where most light comes in (that's the window area) as the 'front'? The shortlisted flats are 1) Blk 250D Unit 43 (circle Red) 2) Blk 202A Unit…
