Dear Sir, I would like to know what is the Feng Shui point of view if I hang a mirror on the exterior of the bathroom door which is also attached to my bedroom. Is it ok to also place my dressing table mirrordirectly facing the "mirrored bathroom door"??? Is it true that we can minize the bad effects in the bathroom if we hang a windchime??? Is so, then what kind of windchime is suitable??? Thank you.

Hi Master, If my unit has window (bedroom)in the South which faces the swimming pool and club-house, and main door in the North-East (common area + lift landings), should I considered my frontage as from my South facing windowand the main door as "backyard"? Thanks, Tim

Dear Anon, Symbolically, it is good not to display broken objects. Since the Fu Dogs are decorative items, one can dispose off-them the usual way e.g. either dispose it by ourselves or pay others to get rid of it for us. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Master, I have a question that had been in my mind for quite sometime. Hope someone can help me with this. I'm born on 09/09/76 between 01.00am-03.00am, male dragon. Base on my findings, myProsperity position is actually on the west side. However, base on the diagram given, if i slept with my head facing the west side, i would be in line with my bedroom door. Moreover, my bedroom door is actually facing a toilet. My sincere request questions are: 1) If i shift my headboard to the west side, will it have adverse effect on me as i'm already breaking the fengshui rule? How should i go about solving the situation? 2) My bedroom door is facing the toilet, what or…

Dear Sophia, From many of the current cases, usually the most common (neutral) element for the main entrance door is natural wood or wood stained in various colours e.g. pine, walnut, rosewood etc... In addition, doors that are also: white or off-white or cream or pastel shades of colours are considered acceptable and often a non-issue at all. For those who want to consider door colours such as "primary" colours (BRIGHT) i.e. Red, Blue, Green or Yellow could perhaps check the suitability, first. Otherwise, if natural / laminated wood or wood tone colours are used, do go ahead with it. In addition, if one is constructing a new home, could perhaps, use the Feng Shui r…

Dear Sophia, For birth element you should use Ba Zi element. 1. The Kua Element is never used as the Birth element, given it only considers the YEAR of birth. 2. The Ba Zi on the other hand tkes the full Day, Month, Year and even Hour of birth, so it is far more accurate to use the Ba Zi element. You should always try to use the day rather than year element (just as in our website's ba zi analysis). So Earth element as caculated by the Ba Zi report is your birth element. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, All over the world, many of us work either in an open office and use system furniture and are not able to or (have the luxury) of placing our table to our good directions. So this is indeed a consolation to you. Based on the holy trinity of luck:- 1. Heaven luck - what is given to us (Ba zi) 2. Earth luck - the office environment is only of the other factors. Other factors include our home. 3. Human or man luck - given that currently one is quite constrained on the earth luck i.e. unable to face a good direction for work, then, we should make use of our man or human luck to good use i.e. be a good team player and work smart ...not necessarily hard War…

Dear Shi Fu, I have opened an All-You-Can-Eat Hotpot Restaurant in Taiwan. Business was really excellent during de Ghost Month here. But when all the Good Brothers had gone business started to be weak. So I get into the art of Feng Shui, so I had discovered that the main door of my restaurant face my bad direction (North). I am a west group person. My Kua Number is 7. I am also an Iron Monkey. Another hand, I do realized that my GreenDragon face West and my Tiger face East. I do some changes inside fallow instruction in this site or books. Please give mean advice how to improve with my luck. Virtuamark

Dear Sophia, Not many know that in the past, elephants had roamed China and they were very common within the North and South of China. A set of elephants actually represent a "source" of strength. And often, the elephant is decorated with motifs and thus considered as bringing fortune to the family. The elephant is both revered in Thailand (especially the white elephant) as well as is one of the gods of the Indians. It is Ok to have a pairfacing or looking outwards. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Further to what I had mentioned, below; In previous replies to your messages, I have mentioned that you can search for dates in early 2004. Thus, in the attached two screens, one can see that if one used the ADVANCED SEARCH feature on this forum, one can do a SEARCH either on Key Words e.g. Period 8 and/or enter date-range. I can literally "chop-off-my-head" if one cannot find messages pertaining to Period 8 or how-to fly to period eight within the pages mentioned above. For example, simply enter date range of say 1 Dec 2003 to 1 Mar 2004 as shown in the attachment. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jason, For a bedroom, we should look at it from the perspective of: "nice-to-have" or "must-(should)-have". Often, many of our bedrooms are small, and furthermore, there are "restrictions" such as having windows and there is also the bedroom door. Because of all these constraints, there are few if any best positions to place the bed. More importantly, between the two schools: Shapes and Forms or Compass School (Eight house), the most important consideration is based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Here, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui should be considred as "must-should-have". While the eight house concept would have to be considered as "nice-to-have". Often, realisti…

Hi Master, Yes, there are 3 openings. One of them is the main door (common lift landing area for the 4 units), another opening is a side window in the hall but facing the next block, and the last opening is the one with bedroom window(and a wider hall window) facing the pool and club-house. Best regards, Tim

Dear Anon, In my opinion both cases you had mentioned below are non-issues especially for the fire hydrant. As often, it is quite low and does not pose any "poison-arrow" issues. In fact, from a non-Feng Shui point of view, this is often a blessing in disguise as it is right in-front of one's home As for the electricity sub-station, there is also no issue since it is quite a distance away. And often, even if one lives close to one, there is no known bad effects from it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Thank You Master Lee for your prompt reply. The B# is 4. So its mountain #8, water #6 and base #4 at my main entrance (not the facing). It is a HDB flat. Entrance door also facing a wall (the kitchen wall). Must I activate the mountain #8 at the entrance? If yes, what should I place? Thank You Emily free-advice Listmanager wrote: From: Cecil Lee Dear Emily, Given that the mountain star is #8, water is not a good idea here, since firstly water at an auspicious MS#8 can drown or "drop the mountain into a hole(water)" thus making it inauspicious. Dear Chee Kiong, Actually, the clue has to do with the "strength" of your element. For example, there is a difference between a "weak" fire person and a "strong" fire person. Under the Five elements concept; the idea is that if one is weak, one should increase one's element. While on the other hand if one is strong, one should try to decrease it. Here, in both instances, what we try to do is to become "balanced" i.e. a "balanced" fire element that is neither too weak or too strong. In your case, since you are a strong fire person, water is favourable to you as it will help to reduce the strong fire. The opposite is true for a weak fire person. Water will further help …

Dear Anon, Frankly, traditional Schools of Feng Shui specifically use two major schools: 1. Shapes and Forms Feng Shui 2. Compass School: The Eight House (Ba Cai) or The Flying Star Feng Shui Thus fixed template "Feng Shui" or adapting the Eight Aspirations or Life Aspriations concept of the Eight Trigrams is common today. Although it looks very easy to apply, it is considered too general by Traditional Schools of Geomancy or Feng Shui. In addition to the above, the Ba Zi or Pillars of Destiny of individuals are also used by Authentic Traditional Schools. It all boils down to another major concept: known as "The lowest common denominator or LCM" or everything revolv…

Dear Robert: I was reading your forecast for 2005. I was born in 1956, a fire monkey, but I'm a strong water by birth element. Am I considered a strong water monkey? If I'm still considered a fire monkey, then how do I know if I'm a weak fire or strong fire monkey? Thanks a lot, Hoa Luong
