Dear Sophia, 1. Traditional Feng Shui has it's roots to the Five elements concept. 2. In my past forum messages, authentic Feng Shui has to do with both the Five elements concept and numerology based on say the Flying Star Feng Shui numbers. 3. Thus, whether the question of using an 8 wooden windchime is acceptable or not -- there is frankly no right or wrong answers. It is often due to one's interpretation and understanding or belief. 4. Much of many of the component of luck is "inter-twined" between Earth luck and Human luck! 5. This is because human beings are unique. And fortunately or unfortunately, most of us either have to be "swindled" or seem to think that p…

Dear Caroline, Please see below:- Otherwise, based on your description, it seems practical. Let's be reasonable. And see some logic, here: In the past, I mentioned this senario: Let's imagine that the two of us are interested in dating a colleague in the office. Both of us know "SECTOR" Feng Shui. And according to this "silly Feng Shui book" SW = our romance sector. I placed9 roses at the SW sector of my office work table. You saw what I had done. And boldly placed 99 roses at the SW sector of your work table. Maybe, you have enhanced to your max but to me, my max could be a room full of 999 roses. So, I have (secretly) outbid YO…

Dear Cindy, Frankly, if both of you continue to have frequent quarrels, perhaps you could consider a Feng Shui audit. This is because most likely there could be some leak(s) in your home.

Dear Sophia, Look at it this way: millions or billions of people have never ever worshiped Tai Sui. Like yourself and your family, personally, I also have not done so. Nowadays, we read "clever" people putting the notion for us to do so. Frankly, it is so easy for them to tell us to do so. But, often these are marketing ploys. I believe, these "clever" people may not also have done so. We often hear of practitioners who give advise. But often the advise is only a short time e.g. 1 or 2 hours. Horror stories of "cannot use the toilet totally" etc... And the poor owner dare not use the toilet for life! Most of the time we should understand : "You stay there (your home)…

Dear Alex, Please see below:- Most likely, in my opinion, one (a hobbist) is based on passion! And perhaps this could be part of our passion could be translated to Human or man luck factors. Such as feel satisfied, good factors. While perhaps someone who has been "force" or "told" to place a fish tank perhaps may not have such a passion. Therefore, for collectors or hobbist, I always feel that this is not as important.

Dear Hoa, 2. Toilet is also the one major water leak in the home. Thus, it is why when a toilet for example is located in the center of the house, it considered a major wealth leak. So because a toilet location is deemed as least beneficial, it is often good when bad stars fall in a toilet location. It will help to dispell such bad influence. Just like other less important uses for rooms such as storeroom etc. Since you don't use it that much, if bad stars falls in such rooms, it will not harm the people there as no one lives there. As such, if you image if there the sector is good but it is located at the toilet influence, how much wealth can you expect to get? …

  10. Dear Anthony, 1. The fact that we have been using an online analysis, is already a clear indication that a mathematical way to determine the weak and strong throughmathematical calculation. There is no publication of such a mathematical formula from what I know so far. You can always use our online report to assess any person to see if they should be considered weak or strong. http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm 2. There are two ways to go about that once you determined whether you are weak or strong:- a. By default as a weak metal for example, it would naturally mean that you either lack earth or metal, while you have too much of fire an…

Dear Anon, The most important thing is for the 6 rods to be all Metal, especially brass. The rest of the support is fine to be non Metal. The point is because 6 rods is Strong Metal. So it is most effective when the rod are metal. If you use like 5 rods it is Earth element. And if you use like 3/4 rods is Wood element etc. Hope that helps. Dear Anon, Flying Star imbalances must be corrected regardless of what element you may be. After you work in the cure for the sector, then you can work on creating the necessary influence for you and your husband. For a Strong Earth and Strong Metal person, you will need to have Water (blue/black/gray) and Wood (green/brown) elements to keep the Strong Earth and Strong Metal in check. Once a cure is placed, just focus on other decoration in the room to ensure that they are favourable to both of you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research.

Dear Anon, To be truly honest, it is best for you to consider seeking professional FS advise on this. This is because even for the kitchen, considerations like which part (compass direction) is the kitchen located. For the kitchen, things like certain locations e.g. NW (fire at heaven's gate), kitchen fitting the spouse etc.. have to be considered. Thus, it may sound simple, but these are some of the issues. If no major renovation is done, things like placing mirror(s) in the kitchen are some of the alternatives, used. Besides this, the kitchen may or may not be the direct or major cause of the problem(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Hoa Luong, Before one thinks that it is so easy to activate MS#9, please think again as this # cannot work alone. Rather than like many people who make a mistake of enhancing.. one should instead see if there is a leak. If so? Then, fix the leak!, First! There are so many various combinations. It is not possible for me to list out all the combinations. Just a few sample which I can think off: MS#9 with WS#7 For this type of combination (also please take not of the base / palace number. Here, it would be wishful thinking to enhance it. Rather, especially if there is also a #2 or #5 base, jolly well fix the leak e.g. use water element. If MS#9 with WS#3 Since wat…

Dear Winnie, As you had mentioned or "suspected" earlier that not all homes at a cul-de-sac are inauspicious. As mentioned in my previous message, "It Depends". Since no two homes are often the same, the type of curve, traffic flow around the cul-de-sac and even issues like how water flows (into the home if any or how water flows out of the house) are also important. Similiarly, I also mentioned that things like the main entrance in relation to the cul-de-sac is equally important. Other factors include the facing direction of the home. This is determined using Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the period the house was built, born or had a major renovation. How suitabl…

Dear Sophia, Yes, so far, I have seen many people who had placed a micro-wave next to the refridgerator and even opposite it. If one sees the productive cycle flow of the five elements, metal supports water, this is a productive cycle. Thus no issue. It is not like water destroys fire under the destructive cycle flow. Which is often considered not auspicious. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, If we compare this plant's thorn's they are considered as "pussy-cat" thorns that are real soft and nothing quite like those of the cactus or rose etc... In terms of Feng Shui for a landed property; plants with thorns are actually quite common place especially at external wall windows or at corners of home to deter thieves from climbing into the home. Thus the thorns of the aloe vera seems so mild as it is part of the skin covering the white liquid gel contained within. In my opinion, pose no harm at all. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Edited by Robert Lee: Please note that firstly this belongs more to a Can or Cannot buy House Hunting or a Full Audit service rather than a simple free advice question. It is difficult to make any comments on whether it good or not except that it might have some missing cornersatSouth-West corner of the house if I read the compass direction correctly. Dear Master Lee, Wishing you a Happy and Prosperous Rooster Year !! I've purchased a unit at Blue Horizon (attached the unit (with circle)layout), appreciate your professional advise on the fengshui for the unit. I'm born on 4 Sep 66. Really appreciate your advise. Dear Anthony, Each person ba zi is unique. When what stars occurs will have different influence an impact. So not possible to just explain what each influence will be as each stars also have to depends in the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branches of each pillar. Generally, for such stars, the most useful of which are the Nobleman, Arts, Academicstars which are what most people will look for to tell you if a person is very fortunate or not. This is because, the presence of such stars especially nobleman will mean that this person is extremely fortunate as no matter what happens always people will be around to help him/her when in need. Some of the other stars such as death…

Dear Rose, If one is applying Ba Zi to look at how suitable a job is, then it depends on one's birth element and strength. Ba Zi will determine e.g. weak or strong earth Then with this information, it will come out with: Career associated with wealth Career associated with power and authority Careers that are suitable, but not leading to great wealth These are the guidlines that a ba zi analysis can provide on the above. Since no two person's ba zi are identical, it thus depends on one's element and strength: strong/weak : metal , water, wood, fire, earth element(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Your question reminds one of the state regulations in Singapore. Where, we are only allowed to display the national flag prior to national day and must take it down within a reasonable date after the national day is over e.g. 1 month, later. Unlike in the US, where one can display the a reasonably good condition flag all year round. In your question, it would certainly make or sense to celebrate Chinese New Year (CNY) with the decorations. But after 15 days or slightly longer, it would not make much sense to display the decorations -- other than some Chinese continue to hang a red banner "Ang chai" all year round above their door. Once CNY is over, it is bes…

  25. Started by myfs_110983,

I have just begun to learn Feng Shui. I know nothing but what I feel and what happens. My life has been plagued by bad luck with relationships. I am a black rabbit born in a white rabbit year. Maybe that is why. I married a few years ago. My husband and I are both twos (but I don't understand the significance of that.) My husband tells me that he has had lack of desire for many years. It was not so bad in the beginning, but it is very bad now. I am sad and feel unloved. We are building a new house with our bedroom in the north northwest corner of the house with a west facing sliding door and a north facing window. I really want more passion in my life, and I want my hu…
