Dear Carolyn, Since there is a MS#5 (bad earth - loss, misfortune, sickness) but it is further inflamed or fuelled by #9 (fire), this is an inauspicious combination. Fortunately, there is a #6 controlling it. Thus, it is in control. Given this situation, there is no harm with a water feature, here since, it can help to extinguish #9. Dear Vun Fook, For water positions: 1. Particularly for Period 7 homes, where there is double #7's under Period 8 (due soon), water positions can be used, here. 2. For example, for N2 (352.5 to 7.4) and N3 (7.5 to 22.4) which has double 7's at it's facing direction, unlike, your case where you want to enhance #6 strong metal(s) with water, water positions at Period 8 "bad metal sector 7" should be used to "drown" or neutralise the #7. 3. For some homes, the alternative may be to see if it is better to change to Period 8. (This depends on the interior layout and the Period 8 N2 or N3 star chart). 1. Dear Anon, Ideally, the favoured change is to have a "major renovation". For example, hacking away the entire flooring or some walls and/or change of main door, or windows is a sure way of `flying' to the new period. Other short cuts but these are subject to opinions by various practitioners: 1. Have major "yang" activity in a home. Here, what it means is that humanly, we have some yang activity such as celebration of birthdays or house warming where we invite lots of friends and relatives into the home. Dear Regina, Frankly, the issue, here is not so much as to whether, the centrepoint is `locked' or blocked but rather what is the outcome with a blocked centrepoint. Dear Ron, I hope I get what you had written correctly. Do you mean that when the main door is fully opened, it measures 168 degrees - the maximum opening? Frankly, there is often not an issue, with the amount of door opening so long as it can open at-least up to 80 or 90 degrees. Is your door facing an opening e.g. facing a balcony directly. Without a sketch, it is difficult to understand the interior layout. Dear Anon, 1. Seems like Savannah Condo Park is considered a "pet project" of CDL Properties because of it's extra emphasis of giving this condo a one-of-a-kind theme. 2. Dear Anon, This has more to do with "Man or Human" luck, than Feng Shui. Do what you personally feel nice about `decorating' the "lucky" corner. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, activating luck is based on finding the "lucky" number for the period and see if one can activate luck at that sector. For example, under Period 7, a house built under Period 7 can have it's luck activated with water at the water star location #7. While mountain star #7 can be activated for relationship luck. Dear Michael, In Mandarin; gift of a clock (phonetic - sounds like) "sending one to a funeral ". Thus, many Chinese never accept a clock as a gift. As since you are not a Chinese, the main excuse is that you do not use the Chinese mandarin language and thus, is ignorant of this. I believe, this has to do more with "culture" and "culture shock" than Feng Shui. Since, one culture's practise does not necessarily mean anything bad to another culture.
