Dear Anon, Please see below:- 1. It is essential to thoroughly examine the potential risks associated with determining whether the main entrance is located in the South-West or South-East direction. 2. In this context, it is advisable to adhere strictly to a comprehensive methodology. For instance, the guidelines available at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm provide a complete set of instructions that can help classify a house as being in the South-East. 3. Numerous alternative methods exist for this purpose. Typically, when utilizing a Luopan, it is employed to assess both the sitting and facing directions of a property. 4. The …

Dear Master, I need advice. What do you think about this floor plan? I don't have enough knowledge about Feng Shui but I know this is not an ideal feng shui floor plan. I just started reading feng shui books 2 months ago. And also our house is right next to a small cemetery. It is an old cemetery & pretty well kept & quite. We have 20 acre land therefore our house is not too close to the graveyards. My husband don't believe in feng shui but I do, are there any remedies for these? Please help! Thank you so much! As this is only a general free advice forum, there will be no specific analysis; if so; since you had read the advice, you have to ask whether you believe in it or to play it safe - take extra caution when you may need to travel on those days.

Dear Lin Huang, Please see below:- Yes, a child's bedroom can be placed above the kitchen. This is based on priority. For example, under the Eight House theory, if the bedroom is auspicious sector for your child, you can let him have the bedroom. Feng Shui is based on commonsense and it is belief that many fires in a home start in the kitchen. As fire rises, it may affect the bedroom above. But here, if it is an auspicious sector for the child, you can let him/her have the room. In the kitchen, one should always keep it clean and tidy. One can even invest in smoke detectors etc... The answer is similiar to the above. Yes you can especially if it is an auspiciou…

Dear Hoa, Usually, what you had mentioned has more to do with selecting a name or changing your name. Often rather than using the above to analyse a sector of a home. Thus, the below is often a glimpse of the outcome of after selecting a name and checking it out:- For example case 1: Five Element(2 Wood, 1 Fire, 0 Earth, 2 Metal, 3 Water) Yin & Yang2 Yin, 6 Yang Name HarmonyMetal-Water-Wood = Inauspicious Tian Di Ren Ge4/5 Auspicious Max Luck is 4/5 due to Surname (Tian Ge) Inauspicious Tian Di Ren Ge DetailsTian-Inauspicious, Di-Auspicious, Ren-Auspicious Wai-Auspicious, Shu-Auspicious Name Luck1/5 Auspicious Name Luck Details1 to 12 - Inauspicious 13 to 24…

Yes, Master Lee. I think the surrounding is good. This is a fairly large residential community, not zoned for commercial ( shops, restaurants,...). Marked A lot is what I'm considering. The lot as you can see tapered in the back and treees are all around here. The drainage is 2 lots over on the right. Should I do anything to fix the odd shape for luck? I really appreciated your advice. V

Dear Maria, Please goto this forum message on the various options to "fly" your home into Period 8. === Quick extract ==== Posted in: Discuss :: Free Advice (General Feng Shui) on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 09:51 AM Dear Anon, Ideally, the favoured change is to have a "major renovation". For example, hacking away the entire flooring or some walls and/or change of main door, or windows is a sure way of `flying' to the new period......... ==== end of partial extract ==== For a NW1 apartment, it is best to see if it is more advantages to fly into the new period. In particular, so far, NW1 homes seems to have quite a lot of problems, especially the last few years.... Warmes…

These are some considerations:- 1. Main Door facing Door of Bomb Shelter in condo 1.1. The main consideration under symbolism in Feng Shui is that the Main door should not be facing a staircase that leads down to the lower unit. 1.2. For example, when say the bomb shelter door is (always) open and from one's main door one can see the staircase; then this is not ideal. 1.3. But, based on building regulations; the good news is that all these doors must remain shut at all times. If so, and also even if the door is opened fully; it opens to only the landing (of the staircase) then this is a non-issue. 1.4. If so, it is equivalent to one's main door facing another unit's ma…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I've used your free auspicious dates report to find a suitable date for moving house. I've attached the report. I'm thinking of 3 Apr 09 which is auspicious for both my husband (1st person) & me (2nd person). However, under the column for clashes, the report shows "yin-shen" & "shen-yin" for my husband. I'm not sure what this means & how does it affect the "auspiciousness" of this day. Appreciate your advice, thanks in advance. The column for clashes will usually show most of the minor clashes or harms that is found between the day and your chart. Usually any major clashes will appear in the main date column. Generally, what is i…

In my opinon, One North has a typical layout plan. One good thing is that there are only one or two blocks that has a pointed edge or corner aimed towards another neighbouring block. There are also diverse number of facing directions of the various blocks. Here, one of which is that you could identify whether you (the major breadwinner or often even today;we consider the male breadwinner) are an East or West Group person. If you want to do more research, you can even key in or type in a simple term like " By ranking " using the top left most search field in this forum.

Further to what I had mentioned, do take note:- 1. In your case, do avoid having the altar sharing the same wall as the toilet (even if it is only) the basin.. 2. Do take note that the Guan Yin figurine is already seated on a lotus flower; then even if one purchase a single height altar; she (Guan Yin) is already elevated... only make sure that the ancestor tablet is placed lower than the "lotus flower" seat...

Hello Master, I am not familiar with these practices, but my mother-in-law gifted us a 'Fu' decoration to put up in our house for CNY 2023. It was blessed (?) by a master. Her belief is that it must not be taken down until the next CNY where we replace it with a new one, as the house will continue to receive blessings. However, my paternal grandmother has just passed away 5 days ago, and I know we won't be celebrating any occasion within the next 100 days. Can I remove the 'Fu' or am I supposed to just leave it on the wall until CNY 2024? Thank you so much for your advice.

Dear Joselyn, 1. Can understand your concern. It is very common even locally in Singapore for families to move their stove to the back of the home. But do take note of the following situations: 1.1 If possible for married couples, avoid having two stoves i.e. one in the back yard area and other stove in the "dry kitchen". 1.2 If there are two stoves installed, try to make sure that all (burners) hobs or burners add together totals = even number. Thus if the backyard stove has say 3 (burners) hobs, then the dry kitchen should preferably have 3 hobs and the combined total no. of (burners) hobs = 6. 1.3 Those induction stoves are not counted or should not be counted. Thu…
