My bedroom (attched with bathroom)in a rented condo is rather weird, had slightly protruding beam surrounding the room. It's rectangle shape, the main door at the side, and facing two big windows (two panels each), and the shorter side of the room had one bathroom door at the center. So, the bed position is either head facing towards one of the windows or the bathroom door. Ever since moving in, things are not plain sailing. Anyway planned to shift again. As for now, I am concerned of the right sleeping position. Kindly advise. Thank you.

Dear Mr Lee, I have my house renovated last year. In this case it is consider period 7 house. My main door have the conbination [7] & [7].This year is period 8, do i have to do something to change my house to period 8 ? Please advise. Thank you.

How exciting to find my house has improved under Period 8! Unfortunately, however, W is the sector to activate a Mountain Star. West is in a bedroom, but our house is set on a NE/SW axis, so actual West is in the corner. Is it possible in any way to activate the Mountain Star if I can't hang a picture in the corner, or place an object of mass there? See attached photo - a closet takes up most of the SW wall. Thanks. Dear Master Cecil, I live in a 2 storey terrace link house. My house is facing southeast 2 (main road) but my main door at the side which is facing northeast 2, I have the following doubts:- a. My main door is facing a wall sharing with my neighbour which is 7" apart, will this obstruct the chi coming in? By doing this, I can avoid our car to be drived towards our main door. b. Dear Master Cecil: I thank you a lot for your answer.Last year I placed a six hollow rod windchime hanging outside my bedroom.I also have a metallic clock in my bedroom as you suggested in a previous post, I also have six chinese coins attached to a red paper as a photo shows in the resource area and two chinese flutes on the wall with red cord( "to lift up" a slanting ceiling).Could this be inconvinient?.The bedroom is painted in a greenish tone.Shall I replace the wind chimes or shall I clean them with salt? Dear Sir, I am staying in a period 7 house with North 2/3 facing (appx 15 degree from North). I would like to know what do I need to do to change my house to Period 8 house? Dear Master Cecil, I live in a 2 storey terrace link house. My front main door is facing left side, a high wall sharing with my neighbour which is 7 feet apart. Is this bad feng shui? Can I place a small water fountain here to face the main door (distance is only 7 feet) and also to reduce the bad effect of heavy metal as we usually park our car here. I am Gua 2, my husband Gua 2(5). We live in a period 7 SE1 house. A number of years ago, the landlord converted the house into two flats by installing a doorway in the middle. So, we enter into a square hallway, facing this door, which leads to a back hallway/staircase that leads in turn to the back door of the building proper. Dear Cecil, I am very new to Feng Shui and I have been reading books a looking at your site. I have a new roommate coming to live with me and as it is the start of a new year I need some advice, please? Dear Mr.Cecil Lee We currently live in a period 7 house, and the main door facing E2. My husband was born on sept.17, 1960. Now we are in period 8, would this house become very unlucky to us? I bought the report on home flying star analysis from you and I become confused. Dear Master Lee, I have bought 6 smooth crystal balls to place in the NE sector this year.The crystal ball I bought has a flat area for it to stand, otherwise it is really round except that area where it has to stand. I am replacing the floor in my bedroom. Originally I intended to put a wooden floor down. However then I heard that wooden floors sapped the energy of dragons, of which I am one. I dont particularly want to tile the floor. I would like to know If a fake laminate would be okay or if I could put a real wooden floor down and cover the area beneath my bed with a fabric. I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there. However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation?
