I am Gua 2, my husband Gua 2(5). We live in a period 7 SE1 house. A number of years ago, the landlord converted the house into two flats by installing a doorway in the middle. So, we enter into a square hallway, facing this door, which leads to a back hallway/staircase that leads in turn to the back door of the building proper. Essentially, these two halls divide the house in two, with bedrooms along corridors to the left (going in, SW side)and sitting room, kitchen, study to the right (NE side). The back hallway is shared with our one upstairs neighbour and as well as being our back entrance has the staircase leading up to his flat. My question is, do I include this back…

Dear Cecil, I am very new to Feng Shui and I have been reading books a looking at your site. I have a new roommate coming to live with me and as it is the start of a new year I need some advice, please? Should I move my bed to another area of the apartment as it is currently located in the three killings area for this year? The S is a good direction for me (although SE is my best location for door) and I don't know if there is a better location for me to sleep or a cure I could use. Would you please advise? Thanks. Joy

Hi I am getting married on 24th May 04 and my own brother is getting married on 12th June, can we both attend each other wedding? My best friend just told me she intend to get married in March which is still within 100 days from my wedding date, I heard that it is best to avoid, is there any remedy or what will happen if I attend her wedding and she attend mine? Dear Mr.Cecil Lee We currently live in a period 7 house, and the main door facing E2. My husband was born on sept.17, 1960. Now we are in period 8, would this house become very unlucky to us? I bought the report on home flying star analysis from you and I become confused. In your report, it says that the E2 (period 7) facing house is suitable to us regardless of the bad numbers which the main door has. Appended by Cecil: Please read a very recent instruction or guideline posted by Robert Lee on how to attach a file. Currently, I am quite busy, but later on will standardise the file size limit for attachments in all forum conferences. This relook at the file size attachments is to provide for a reasonable file size limit, also. Dear Mr. Cecil, Please show me how to attach a floor plan to a posting. Dear Master Lee, I have bought 6 smooth crystal balls to place in the NE sector this year.The crystal ball I bought has a flat area for it to stand, otherwise it is really round except that area where it has to stand. Is it less effective than the really round ones? Since I cannot put water features in my bedroom which has the #8 water. What alternative enhancer can I put? Best regards,

I am replacing the floor in my bedroom. Originally I intended to put a wooden floor down. However then I heard that wooden floors sapped the energy of dragons, of which I am one. I dont particularly want to tile the floor. I would like to know If a fake laminate would be okay or if I could put a real wooden floor down and cover the area beneath my bed with a fabric. I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there. However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation? My kua is considered 8 (actually 5, but for female, it should be read as 8).

Dear Mr Lee I have recently started with the FS subject. I know now that my house does not really support me. Relationships/friendships going..going and gone! Never to return. Health: battling with colon and diet habits. Money:..a bit better but stagnant. In fact the company will be going through a retrenchment exercise in the very near future (next 4 weeks). Dear Master Lee, First of all, I'd like to thank you for providing this forum and website. I've read many of your past topics and can't find out why Lillian Too recommend that the excellent location should be the back door and the front door face the opposite (normally prosperity location). Her book agree with everything you say except that the main door is the back door instead of the front door. Dear Sir, I am a West person and my GUA number is 2. I have recently shifted to a new office. By using the 8 Mansion ? Ba Zhai theory, I am sitting at the NW corner but my table is arranged that (due to space), I am facing the SE square. I can only move my chair to make sure that I am facing NE corner while I?m doing my paperwork. But when when I do computer, I am facing the S square. My best direction is southwest but my bedroom is in the south direction which is not favorable for me.Thus,i've decided to place my bed facing southwest.Since my bathroom is in the southwest direction,is it ok for me to sleep facing the wall which shares the bathroom and my bedroom? would that be considered as sleeping facing the southwest direction? Plus,i plan to move my bed to the corner below the light that is fixed against the wall.Will the light disturb me?what if i shift my bed slightly away from the corner?

Dear Master Cecil, I live in a 2 storey terrace house. My house is facing southeast 2, but our main door is tilted 90" facing northeast 2 which is also facing a wall sharing with my neighbour (7 feet apart). If I stand at the main door inside looking out, on my left is the wall (outside the house) and on my right is also a wall 4 feet width (inside the house). My question is whether all the above will obstract chi coming into the house? How do I counter this problem.
