Further to what I had mentioned; this is another link to another "type" of ba gua mirror. Dear Anon, There is a logical reason why anything higher than a side table is not advisable. This is because if you look at the shelf at the side, the scorner closer to the bed will form a poison arrow which cuts into the bed. Since both side cuts into the bed, it is like an X. Which is bad feng shui. So not recommended. Even if you replaced it with a table, the same effect will be created unless you ensure that where you sit the poison arrow will not cut you. Dear Anon, Please see below:- For the Chinese, it is preferable that the ceiling fan where possible is not black. White or gold is fine. Do you find it uncomfortable? If so, you may like to change it. Purple represents the Fire element and it would normally depend on your Ba Zi. For a room, unless one has a need for the `Fire element' e.g. if a person is a weak wood person and staying in the room, can use the `Fire' element to help his/her weak wood to grow. Hello Master Lee. While shopping for bed frames I noticed that many designs have a gap or open space where the mattress goes under the headboard. Headboards that completely block the mattress from the wall are actually very rare. I included an example picture below to show what I mean. My guess is that this a very minor or non-issue since the mattress would cover the gap completely, so the headboard is not visibly "open." Am I thinking about this correctly?

Hello, I am trying to decide between two apartments, A or B... Both are 2-story loft apartments built in 1985. I've tried to understand the info you have provided but am not sure which unit has "better" feng shui. I would greatly appreciate your assist! => A is 500 sq ft with it's own entrance (townhouse style), no one above or below but does share the SE wall with neighbors. Dear Marie, If you have Chinese guests, it would be a nice gesture if the host can wear Red. As this is considered a very auspicious colour for this occassion. If you country allows the use of fire crackers, this is a tradition, we Chinese use to ward off evil and usher in the new year. Furthermore, the pathway will be pathed with the remains of red paper (belonging to the fire crackers). If u are not allowed to do so, please don't do so. Please see illustration. 3. Assuming that if we take a compass reading from A to B and this equals to 0 degrees = pure North cardinal point. 4. Then even if we take a reading say from C to D; E to F; G to H; tell me what is the reading? Is it the same reading as A to B = 0 degrees?

Dear Rochiel, The idea of utilizing beneificial Qi is to ensure that it comes into the house and meanders (slowly) before exiting out of the house. Here, the chief concern is to prevent Qi from coming into the door and exit directly out of any area (window/door). I believe, you case is common. This is where, you can close the side of the sliding door that is in direct view of your entrance door. And open the other side of the sliding door. This (I believe) would help solve your problem. Dear Master Cecil, Kindly refer to the attached picture. I'm intending to buy a unit (i have not offered but interest is there). The common toilet door partially faces both the common bedrooms, Bedroom 1 & 2 in the attached picture. In this manner, what should i do to nullify any negative effects, if there is any? Also, the master bedroom door is directly in line with master bedroom toilet door. If i were staying in this unit, what do you suggest i should do ... if i make sure i keep the master toilet door shut at most times, will that be sufficient? Thank you.
