These are some of the considerations:- You wrote: 2.2 I found that the only suitable place for us to move the main door is at the north sector, but it would face NE or NW, which are both unauspicious direction. Is there any suggestions? Reply: Shifting the main door is often temporary. Furthermore; one has to take extra care in shifting the door as the wrong angle or degree is not beneficial. You wrote: 2.1 Our house is facing SW, kitchen at S, and toilet at E, Living room NE. I did propose to renovate the house so that it incorporate with the Bazi and the 8 Mansion's auspicous place, but both my parents are against it. Is the a way to Lower the effect? Reply: You have …

My in laws have built a duplex for us and my husband's brother. We of course had no idea about the plan. It was my mother-in-law's design. I have read a book in feng shui but I just got more confused. Like how do i position the bagua with the main entrance. we have four gates, one for each garage and one each for people's gate entrance. we have shared lawn. it was my in law's decision not to put division in the garage lawn area so that my kids and my brother-in-law's kid would have a larger place to play on. The main door to the house is not aligned with the gate. it faces to the left on our side and mirror image for my brother-in-law's side. another concern is having 3 s…

In general (very general); up to 2023; SW is the indirect water spirit location; thus; generally, a water position there may / or most probably is OK or acceptable. As for water position at East.... beyond this Free General Advice forum.

Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net These are some considerations:- 1. In general, somehow for convenience; an industry is slotted into a specific element. Thus, in general; oil as you had mentioned is considered as belonging to the fire element. While in general, transportation is considered as belonging to the wood industry. 2. Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers; Look at where we are today! We are in the age of "multi-tasking" and "multi-skilling". 3. Therefore, there is really no end to the various (if what questions) like we transport oil so what should we be considered? What happens if one is transporting milk? What industry should that be in. Or we are tra…

These are the considerations:- 1. Firstly, the way you post the info can be confusing. 2. Secondly, there is such thing as Yang and Yin Feng Shui. 3. For Yang Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the living, like you and me; based on the rough info that you had provided; assuming facing direction is your good direction and if you are an East Group; which you have stated as SE; naturally, your best facing directions are all the North, South, SE and East directions. 4. Yin Feng Shui or Feng Shui for the day is different. Firstly are you living person or a dead person? If one is dead (deceased or kaput); then Yin Feng Shui is about sittting on a good direction facing the bad directio…

(Actually I did write a longer article but it was lost when I tried to post pictures with it. So on the second attempt, I didnt write ingreater details cos I was worried that all the writing will be lost again) Sir, 9ms 7ws was described as "fortunately there is weak fire to control the bad star #7's weak metal, but it is insufficient so make use of red to control metal". I have beenkeeping theMaitreya Buddha's statuein my wardrobe for three years but I decided to put it there now with the dual purpose of hopefully activating my mt star as well as to make offerings of coins. You'll notice that there are already some $1 coins there already. In the past in another house, I …

Yeah, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, what you roughly mentioned; seems not auspicious. The best "test" is to check the history... who had previously rented the same "spot"? If possible, do more checking and/or speak to some of the neighours (tenants) of the building... to get some more information. Sometimes, it is amazing what we find.. e.g. the unit perhaps has higher turnover than say other units next to or nearby or within the building.... Good Luck in your venture!

This has more to do literally with commonsense. For example, majority of the time:- 1. Landed property: Most of the time, this is the clear space area or passage way area. 2. For many smaller condos; usually, this area is close to the passageway leading towards the other "organs" of the home. 3. For some condos and government housing board flats; this area is sometimes within the toilet and or toilet door area or again the passage way area. 4. Thus, commonsense would mean that most likely if any hacking; would be the "surrounding rooms e.g. making the master bedroom larger or demolishing a wall in the bedroom area for a walk-in wardrope or making the room larger or even …

Master Cecil, Sorry for delaying my response. I am very happy to see your response. I would send you satellite photo for outside view, once i get everything confirmed and before we make an offer to the house. As of now we are still searching. Because of your website we were able to know which direction is good for my husband (bread Winner). Keeping that in mind we are very careful in selecting a house in a good community. Thanks again Hari

These are some of the considerations: 1. Frankly, one has to see beyond the "bedroom corner" and the main door. 2. For example, there is a difference between (see attachment) Layout A or Layout B. 3. If your home is "Layout A"; where the bedroom door does not directly face the main door: see attachment: Markings A or A1 ; or the door bedroom door could be at the other side; then the considerations are different from that of Layout B. 4. If assuming your Layout is A; sometimes it may be a blessing in disguise if there are some openings at BLUE marking "C". Just close your eyes and imagine... if you shift your main door to the right and if one opens window(s) frequently; th…

Frankly, as mentioned, earlier; a geomancer would often look at a typical chart. In this sample extract, just take a look at how many fields I had circles. These are some of the considerations a geomacer looks at when determing what is best for a person. There are more considerations. Even if one lacks an element; how much is the percentage etc.. etc... But just count the number of circles; and one will understand.... Therefore, that is why, I mentioned: best to go back to the geomancer who deemed ... you... need wood.... Not just a few lines of text and presto! Your woes are cured!

1. In my opinion, it boils down to those who are ultra conservative vs "Is there an issue, here?" sort of thing. 2. Frankly, how often have one recall a boss or fellow worker changing work directions annually. 3. In essence, these are often the same kind of Geomancers, that may even tell us: don't ever use that toilet. 4.The irony is that many such Geomancers, would most likely sit and work in the same direction, year after year! Yet, have the cheek to tell others to do something, they themselves don't apply! 5. You stay there, we don't! 6. What is not mentioned not often over-looked is the fact that if one does major renovations and or going for a major cause e.g. goin…

One must understand the concept: 1. If one does not spent lots of time "exposed" to the sharp wall edges; then this is not an issue. 2. Many homes have exposed sharp wall edges and again, if you are not "there" what is the problem, here. 3. Most of concerns are at places we spent most of our time. Thus, I would be concerned if the sharp wall edge is in the bedroom and even if it is in the bedroom, it must literally cause a poison arrow. 3.1. And it is not the same as; "you feel that it is a threat"; but in many instances or in reality, it does not pose a problem to say one's bed. 4. The same is true for a ceiling beam. If one is not under a ceiling beam for 2 hours per da…

Frankly, no offense, please! This is another one of those, first..... First time, ever in my life and the life of this forum that one asked this question of the resource link. Therefore, most likely; either your fingers did not do more walking (using the search feature) to find out more or.... This is precisely what you should do:- The Three-Step-Approach

Again, appreciate; please note the following:- 1. There are already tons of past resources on the subject of mirrors. 2. Make an effort to use your fingers to the "walking" by using the SEARCH feature on this forum. Simple search terms like "Mirror in bedroom " etc.. would yield the answer to your mirrored wardrope issue. Look at it this way, your friend is not the only one that faces or is concerned with this issue. This issue has been around even before this forum existed. Extract from a past message:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=15138&new= 3. You have to be realistic; and go search for the French term: Triage.. Some of the…

Thank you so much for your reply I very much appreciate it. It has made things very clear for me and now I can proceed with confidence. I do have a very good compass and as a matter of interest if you have Google Earth and then zoom down to look at your property, at the top of the page in "TOOLS" there is an option for "RULER" click this and the click two points on your property this will give you a very accurate direction of your property. I have double checked this with my compass and it is very accurate. Of course not to be relied upon but as a way to double check it is invaluable. My best regards and thanks again. Dale.
