Hi Cecil! Is it not advisable to have curves in the house? For example, walls (even the one behind the bed), ceiling. Does it make a difference whether they are concave or convex? Thank you!

These are some considerations:- 1. You wrote: Is it true? 1.1 Yes, if you are strictly applying the Gua or Eight House; 1.2 It can be classified into: 1.3 The direction / Location significance / Status (good or bad) and even suitable for what purpose (if any). 2. Dear Linda, Actually, you can use the many free calculators located at http://www.geomancy-online.com to generate the correct charts. As to the Chinese zodiac signs, because usually January or February or even as late as March, this is where the new year of the lunar calendar stars. For exampel in 1997:- 19 Feb 1996 to 6 Feb 1997 = fire rat and those born 7 Feb 1997 to 27 Jan 1998 = fire ox Reference: http://www.lovesigns.net/astrology/ayear/a90-2010.htm This can change the Ba zi element and strength for anyone born between 1 January 1997 to 6 February 1997 if they had wrongly being considered as a fire ox instead of a fire rat. Therefore, why not use the free ca…

Hi Anon, Sometimes, you should to worry too much. There are so many form of analysis (ie numerology, ba zi, chinese horoscope etc) Each form of analysis tries to make sense of a certain chart. With regards to health this may or may not happen all depends on many factors as well. I mean rather than worrying about what might happen, you should be more pro-active in attempting to prevent any potential health issue from happening. ie. Keeping or staying Health has been a good way of enhancing your wealth. ie. Watching the food your eat also is very helpful in ensuring that you maintain a good health. ie. Having sufficient preventive measures ie vaccination all will help k…

Happy New Year! Master Lees Just generated the house report. Notice our common study room at West with ms8 ws 6 bs 9 yr 2 is rated Excellent Sector for 2009. Do u think we could put our girl do her study here?Presently her bedroom cum study is at Northwest(her spook direction). The other bedroom at East (her excellent direction) is our Masterbedroom. My concern is also that the Maindoor at SW2 is her disaster direction and West sector is her Worst direction!! PS: She is strong metal and her room walls are painted medium green. Her desk facing east and sleep at north direction. She commented that at times she needs to get out of room and do her study at our dinning area…

1. Traditionally, in general, one of the main purpose of ba zi is to "zero in" into most common tool: What isyour personal ba zi element and strength. 2. For example, a person may have a result as a "weak wood" person. 3. Although you are not wrong, sometimes it is very difficult or impractical to apply. 4.1 For example, the Flying Star Feng Shui has the 20 Year stars, the yearly stars, the monthly stars and even daily and hourly stars! 4.2 Thus, even if you know say the Water wealth star #8 is at a specific moment in time of the day, would one be free enough to have a moveable water feature to move around (a cluttered) home! It is not like plugging in a vacuum clean…

Dear Robin, First of all, a warm welcome to this forum. Feel free to check back past messages which I believe, would help to understand Traditional Feng Shui. 1. The key essence of a good Feng Shui house is based on Shapes and Form School. 2. In order to achieve a quantum Leap in Feng Shui and not entangled under a vicious cycle of `poor' Feng Shui is to look at how a piece of land (it can be the entire neighbourhood) and your specific piece of land can be seen to be able to accumulate wealth. 3. Here, for example, even before one builds a home on the land, a competent FS practitioner is sought to advise on the piece of land and plot where a house can be constructed which…

Dear Anon, 1. Please refer to the attached illustration. 2. Often a house at-the-end of the road literally means just this. 3. Under the above illustration, you can see House 1 and House 2. Both houses are said to be at-the-end of the road or in this case, it can also be called a house at-a-T-junction. 4. Other senarios may include houses at a cul-de-sac and some of these houses can also be considred as at-the-end of the road. 5. Under the above illustration, one can notice that both House 1 and House 2 although are at-the-end of the road, they are "hidden" from view of the main gate. And often a car can simply drive directly into the house "car-park". If you lo…

Dear Lyn, Under Shapes and Form Feng Shui, your house should not `sit' lower than the frontage i.e. front yard. Is it possible to reverse this? Having the house lower than the frontage can have a negative effect on the homeowners. The house is equally `entrapped'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kieron, Under Feng Shui, the most `vulnerable' area for poison arrows are: 1. the main entrance door. 2. the view from windows inside the house. The concept of `poison arrows' is that if you cannot see the poison arrow, there is no longer a threat. For a dying tree between your home and your neighbours, it is no `threat' unless: 1. it can be viewed from a window of a house and when it fulfil para 2 below. 2. when the tree disintegrates into a `tree stump'. When you only have a `broken' tree stump, this now becomes a `sha' provided when you peer through the window, it is tangent or perpedicular to it. In the long run, it is best to totally uproot the tree incase of de…

Dear Anon, Thanks for seeking clarifications on this. Actually, what I was trying to imply has more to do with the Chinese custom known as "ancestor worship". Let me elaborate: Often, when a loved one passed away; especially a parent; a filial eldest son would often have the photo portait blessed with a priest. Some priests even paint over the eyes of this portait for the dead. The above is more for info. It may or may not happen. But, given this idea, it is best not to place this portrait/ancestor tablet facing the main door or dining table or have the back on the same wall as the toilet. Or face into the bedroom. For other pictures; or pictures of rememberance, it is no…

Dear Anon, Stand at the window(s) to see if the tree trunk slices into the home? If no, this is not a threat to your home. This can be seen as a "commonsense" approach. Often a dead tree is prone to rot / termites (if any). And because of this issue, it can be considered unhealthy. Warmest Regards, Cecil
