Location: Blossom Residences When determining the frontage of the house, one of the key considerations is whether the potential frontage has a natural light "bright hall" effect. Time photo taken was at 9am - bright sunshine outside. Here, these two units's main entrance door is dim = yin. And less likely to be considered as the frontage of the home(s). For these two units; the potential frontage should usually be standing inside the living room looking out of the balcony or if no balcony looking out of the windows. And if the rest of the bedrooms also overlook this direction; then this is the most likely frontage.

Dear All, 1. This concept is not a modern invention. 2. In the past, I had written in this forum about this concept. 3. The concept: If one look out of a child's bedroom and a distance away, on the right side; if there is a structure i.e. looks like a profile of e.g. a pagoda or high tension wire (note that this is a distance away); this is considered auspicious. Here, it implies that there will be `scholars' or children will do exceptionally well in their studies. 4. In Hong Kong, many Feng Shui practitioners have advised their clients to place a pagoda figurine on their children's study table. Please refer to attached illustration. 5. Here, the pagoda figurine can be e.…

1. Whenever you have three houses facing each other, it is best to balance this with a third house or a water position. 2. The Plus Equilbrium ensures that four houses are always facing each other or three houses and a water position forms a `PLUS' sign. This is considered an auspicious layout. Here goes:

It is essential to ensure that new buildings, homes, Additions, and Alteration works are considerate of their neighbors. Careful consideration should be given to selecting appropriate materials and designs for external walls and roofing. Notably, myVillage in Serangoon Gardens darkened ts floor-to-ceiling windows in 2010, after nearby residents complained that the glass reflected too much sunlight and heated up their homes in the evenings. The neighbourhood mall subsequently replaced the reflective glass with two-way tinted glass a few months later. The regulatory update is so that designs can be enjoyed by all without causing a…

Dear Anna, Sorry for the delay in reply. In general, if you have a small studio apartment, you can do the following:- 1. You can still use the Eight House Theory and divide your house into eight sectors. 2. Try to proritise or place your bed to confirm under the Shapes and Form School i.e. avoid having it facing the door a toilet etc... 3. See whether your bed can fall within one of the 4 auspicious sectors of your house. Once you have arranged your bed, then the rest of the `furniture' will fit in naturally. Where possible, use your instincts and place them where you like. For the worktable, place it against a wall. If you do a SEARCH in this forum for "studio " you most…

Hi Randy, Again, from some feng shui book that I have read, if you can't relocate your toilet or your main entrance, I will advise you not to use the toilet above the main entrance (I believe you have more than 1 toilet right?). In addition, you may want to have a lamp at the entrance and ensure it is on for 24 hrs. This is what we call the "chang ming deng" in feng shui which will help to reduce the negative qi with its yang energy. Regards, Chris Ng

Dear Davis, To clarify, if there is a fire, fire `moves' upwards and a room above the kitchen is not considered `ideal'. But as you have brought out for example a safe. A safe in the same situation stores things and a room above a safe looks fine. In Feng Shui it is inauspcious for example to have a toilet above a bedroom. But, not the other way around. Same situation for a store room. Tong Shu can be regarded as analogous to undergoing an X-ray. While Ba Zi dates can be likened to an MRI scan. Another perspective is that Tung Shu is comparable to a Bachelor's degree, whereas Ba Zi corresponds to a Master's degree. Both are viewed as degrees; however, a Master's degree is considered superior to a Bachelor's degree. These interpretations may shift if one assumes the role of a matriarch in a family, with a preference for the Tung Shu. If an individual is more inclined towards the Tung Shu, it is advisable to favor this approach and abandon the Ba Zi method if reconciliation is not possible or if one prefers the familiarity of the Tung Shu as the…

Dear all, If you plan to take Feng Shui seriously as a hobby, it’s highly recommended to invest in a good quality compass. Both Suunto ([www.suunto.com](http://www.suunto.com)) and Silva ([www.silva.se](http://www.silva.se), especially the Survey Master series) are excellent, reliable brands used worldwide by both professionals and serious enthusiasts. Suunto Pilot Compass For those interested in precision, the Suunto Pilot model stands out, particularly for its ability to be finely calibrated—even in environments with a lot of magnetic interference, such as vehicles. This level of calibration is extremely useful for ensuring high accuracy and for confirmin…

1. These are the photos of the 10 Qing (Ching) Dynasty coins. 2.Other than coins with auspicious sounding wordings; the Qing Dynasty coinsare often used, today as symbolisms in Feng Shui. 3. This is because the Qing Dynasty is one of the longest dynasties in China, stretchingfrom the reign of Shun-chifrom 1644 AD to 1911 AD.This dynasty : outwit, outlastany other dynasties by a mile. 4. Often, under symbolism in Feng Shui; if you want to use such coins; try to choose coins from two of the longest lasting reigns that represents periods of prosperity such as Kang-shi or Chien-lung. For example in the 11th month of the 16th year of Chien-lung's reign 1752 AD he was just 41 y…

Further to what I had mentioned earlier, you could perhaps see if any of the following helps or not:- (In no correct order) 1. If you do apply some cures: The Customer Engineer Concept 2. Fix-the-Leak, First! Often your apartment should have at least two or easily three major issues. You really need to find out the correct issues or problems. Most common mistake is to take the easy way out and be taken in into buying useless commercial products in the name of Feng Shui. This is like for some; overeating to try to overcome or let them forget their problems. 3. Feng Shui Triage Reminder: If there is no proper trouble-shooting; Garbage in garbage out. 4. The Concept of Max…

Dear Users, Some users are `confused' because they read somewhere that instead of using Red string with 6 coins, the recommendation was to use 6 coins with e.g. salt water. What is the rationale of using Red string with 6 coins and not 6 coins with water:- Metal in Water, will result in Metal being absorbed to create water, ending up losing the Metal as a controlling element. And the strengthened Water is not really going to be effective in controlling by controlling Fire, because the Strong Earth #2 & #5 is not at all being controlled. Red String helps to control 6 coins, because 6 is already strong plus being metal themselves, so need a little control, it will not a…

Dear All, 1. Symbollically, it is not favourable to have stripes that run vertically towards the main entrance door. It is like two lines slicing towards the main door. 2. Since this is uncommon, and there are not many cases to fall back on i.e. to confirm that it is inauspicious; why not be on the safe side? 3. To find out whether the number of steps is auspicious or inauspicious, please do a SEARCH in this forum for " stairs ". Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Further to what I had mentioned:- 2. In fact, although some things are 'strictly' Feng Shui issues e.g. the 2 hourly Chinese calendar timing:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29772&new= 3. I can easily explain it from a Commonsense approach. (See above link). Thus even if one is a non-expert in geomancy; it does not matter. 4. What is sad is that even during my course of work; I have encountered as many as 50 percent of some geomancers that get this commonsense issue wrong! And these geomancers advised their clients with the wrong day of birth! 5. Typically, as I always belief: even if 10 Geomancers tell a story of sorts; it d…
