  1. Dear Kam, Can you please review and advise my questions ? I am still waiting eagerly for your valuable answer so that I can learn Bazi from you. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  2. Dear Paulina, paulina lim wrote: I have read that it is a good idea to built a water feature in the SW of the garden to tap the indirect spirit of Period 8, bringing in big money luck. Can I harvest this by putting an aquarium in the SW corner of my living room or dining room instead? I am unsure if this applies to only outdoors Canyou harvest this by putting an aquarium in the SW corner of yourliving room or dining room depend on the following conditions : 1. The Mountain Star is untimely or not in Period 8. 2. The Water Star is untimely or not in Period 8. The untimely stars in Period 8 are stars 2, 4, 5 and 7. The timely stars in Period 8 are stars 8, 9,and 1. The safe and usable stars in Period 8 are stars 3 and 6. If both Mountain Star and Water Star are either timely or safe and usable, you can place an aquarium to enhance the auspicious stars there. If either Mountain Star or Water Star is untimely, you cannot place the water feature there because the water feature will strengthen the inauspicious and malevolent star there to harm you. Instead of placing a water feature, I suggest you place a Yin water feature (a waterfall picture or nine fish picture) there to tap the indirect spirit of Period 8. Hope these Feng Shui tips willhelp you. Thank you. Best regards always, David Ooi
  3. Dear Ken, I am still a beginner in Feng Shui,I hope my knowledge will be helpful to you. The flying Star chart of your office is Period 7, but themeaning of each star is based on Period 8 interpreting because we are now in Period 8. Example, Water Star 3 is safe and usable in Period 8 but it is untimely (malevolent effect)in Period 7. If you feel that the Flying Star chart of your office in Period 8 is better than Period 7, then you should change your officeto Period 8 by renovating your office. Please note the rules and conditions to change the Heaven Heart of your office. Thank you. Best regards always, David Ooi
  4. Dear Ken, I hope I can help to solve your Feng Shui problem. K Chin wrote: i.e. covers both offices. According to some reading / course materials, this is considered a bad sector that may lead to quarrel, bad tempered argument etc. Wondering if this is true. Yes, it is true in Period 7. K Chin wrote: If so, I am wondering what are the suggested fengshui items to be The Base Star 6 is sufficiently strong to exhaust the malevolent Mountain Star 2, thus the effect of malevolent Mountain Star 2 is not there. For Water Star 3 in Period 8 is safe and usable, hence this Palace is safe in Period 8. You still want to be 100 % safe, no harm use a strong light. A standing lamp or a spotlight mounted on the wall will suit the purpose. The strong light is a manifestation of the element fire, and fire will draw energy from the wood of Water Star 3, thus weakening it. Hope this will help you. Thank you. Best regards always, David Ooi
  5. Dear Cecil, I had read many Feng Shui books, all writers say that all houses facing either North East or South West are the best houses if they are Period 8 houses. See below examples : Facing direction Special Flying Star chart SW1Sum to Ten SW2 Or 3 Parent String NE 1 Sum to Ten NE2 Or 3 Parent String Questions: 1.The house ownerdoes not need to do anything, the house is automatically good because it is either "Sum to Ten" or "Parent String" house. Is it true ? Any activation is needed ? 2. If the house is "Parent String" house, the Palaces where stars, 2, 5and 8 are there, the Qi in the Palace is not balanced because all stars are Earth elements.Do the owner need to balance the Qi in this Palace ? Do we need to add big Metal element to exhaust the Earth element ? 3. The "Parent String" or "Sum to Ten" house, is the house must be square or rectangle ? Can it be any shape ? Is any missing corner allowed ? Some writers say yes but some say success has been found in modern building structures too. 4. The "Parent String" house lasts for three twenty-year cycle ie 60 years. Is it true ? 5. The "Parent String" house, the star formation generates great fortune and luck-the influence is so strong that it overrides unfortunate charts. Is it true ? Please help to clear my doubt, I want to learn Flying Star Feng Shui from you because I am new to this subject. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  6. Dear Kam, There is a small mistake in my list, it should read as : Quote: Ooi David wrote: Since the free report is stating this DM is a Strong Yang Earth, from the past history and reference, Iconfirmedthe strengthis strong. Please also noted that this transformation is supported by the catalyst ofDing in 2007 Year Stem and Yin in Month Branch of original Bazi chart. Please help to answer all 4 questions to clear my doubt Sorry for the mistake. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  7. Dear Kam, Thank you for your reply, appreciate your help. Keen to learn Bazi from you especially on transformation. Below is the list to your questions. Kam Wah Fung wrote: Are you asking for the meaning of this particular transformation? Or the effects this transformation will have to this Ba Zi? As each of the Five Ten Stem transformations have their own individual names too. To which of the above are you refering to? Yes. I am asking for the meaning of this particular transformation and also the effects of this transformation to this DM. Quote: Kam Wah Fung wrote: What exactly happens due to this transformation is down to whether the chart is Strong or not, and the resulting transformation. Since the free report is stating this DM is a Strong Yang Earth, from the past history and reference, Iconfirmedthe strengthis strong. Please also noted that this transformation is supported by the catalyst of Jia in Month Stem and Yin in Month Branch. Please help to answer all 4 questions to clear my doubt. Thank you. 8. Dear Kam, I have an additional question about tranformations, Please help to enlighten me. Example 54-63 Time Day Month Year Luck P 2007 P Geng Wu JiaGui Wu Ding Shen Xu Ying SiShen Hai Wu from Luck Pillar combines with Gui to transform to hidden Fire element since there is a catalyst of FIre in 2007 Pillar and this transformation is supported by Month EB. Question: 1. What is the meaning of this transformation ? 2. Gui is the wealth element to this DM, combine away this wealth element, is it a loss of wealth for this DM in 2007 ? or 3. Will this DM faces separation from the wife since Gui is the spouse element ? or 4. Will this DM suffers loss of wife ? or 5. Is this DM finds a new girl friend ? I have an additional question, 6. Is this Yang Earth (Wu) a strong Earth DM ? I look at the Month EB, this DM may be a weak Earth DM. However, the free report indicated that this DM is a strong Earth DM. Please check and advise. Thank you for your help. Best regards always, David Ooi
  9. Dear Fanny, Your house is "Sum to Ten" house, the Mountain star combines with Base star equals to ten. This type of chart creates auspicious health, relationships and fertility. In your facing Palace, there is a Mountain star 5 which is untimely star for Period 8, hence you cannot use Yang water to activate Water star 8. Yin water is preferred in this Palace. Moreover, the excessive Earth elements in facing Palace control Water. There are excessive Earth elements in your facing Palace, use big Metal to exhaust the Earth elements. Hope this information helps you. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  10. Dear Cecil, What do you mean "Triple combination fulfills the solution" ? I hope you can enlighten me on this special requirement. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  11. Dear Cecil, According to the text in the book I had read, we need proper forms to activate timely stars for the following special Flying Star charts : 1.Sum to Ten chart. 2. Parent String chart. 3. Pearl String Chart. I know for Sum to Ten and Parent String special charts, the building must be a complete square or rectangle; missing corners are not allowed for these special charts. Beside the aforesaid proper forms, what are other proper forms required toactivate timely starsfor these special charts. Please check and advise. Your great help will be appreciated. I want to learn Flying Star Feng Shui from you. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  12. Dear Cecil, Recently, I rent an office shoplot at the second floor of a five storey shoplot block. This block of building was built in Period 7, hence the Flying Star chart of this office is a Period 7 chart. This office has a front and back balcony, thus I treat this office just like any landed house to plot the Flying Star chart. I moved into this office in March 2006 after a major renovation involved more than one third of the floor space of this office. Renovation includes change of partition, change of some ceiling boards, knocking of floor and wall, change of carpet and change of some lighting and etc. In view of the above changes, hence I decided to consider the period of this office as a period 8 office. My question is that this office should be a Period 7 or Period 8 office ? Please help to advise and enlighten me, I want to learn from you. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  13. Edited by Robert: Sorry, may too busy this period to have time time to comment on this. If you did some search on the forum, you should be able to know how we fundamentally analyse a ba zi. Dear Robert Lee, I had read a famous Bazi master's book who used to analyse and publish Bazi reports on famous people in the world. I noticed that he used the following formulae : 1. If the DM is a strong Yang element e.g Yang Earth, the favourable element is Wood and Metal. 2. If the DM is a weak Yang element e.g Yang Earth, the favourable element is Wood and Fire. 3. If the DM is a strong Yin element e.g Yin Earth, the favourable element is Wood and Fire. 4. If the DM is a weak Yin element e.g Yin Earth, the favourable element is Fireand Earth. Below is the actual strengthof 5 elements of a Male strong Yin Earth DM (Ji) : Fire 12% Earth 37% Metal 40% Water -9% (Minus) Wood20% Base on the above formula and composition of 5 elements, I will concluded that the favourable elements for this strong Yin Earth DM are Water, Wood and Fire elements respectively. Metal is not his favourable element eventhough he is a strong Earth DM. What is your comments on the above formulae ? Is my assumption on favourable element in the above example is correct or wrong ? Please check and enlighten me since I am new to Bazi and keen to learn and improve my Bazi knowledge. Thank you. Best regards always, David
  14. Dear Robert Lee, I have a few questions regarding this topic, please help to guide me since I am very new to Bazi. Questions 1. If the 5 years Luck pillar is good, Year Pillar is inauspicious ( both Stem and Branch), it means that particular yearis bad for the DayMaster or otherwise ? 2. If the 5 years Luck pillar is bad, Year Pillar is auspicious ( both Stem and Branch), it means that particular yearisgood for the DayMaster or otherwise ? 3. If the 5 years Luck pillar is good, Year Pillar is inauspicious ( both Stem and Branch), Month Pillar is auspicious ( both Stem and Branch). Can we say that particular month is good for the Day Master ? 4. If the 5 years Luck pillar is Bad, Year Pillar is inauspicious ( both Stem and Branch), Month Pillar is also inauspicious ( both Stem and Branch). Day Pillar is auspicious ( both Stem and Branch). Can we say that particular Day is good for the Day Master ? Please help to clear my doubt and enlighten me. Thank You. Best regards always, David
  15. Dear Kam, Thank you for your fast response. I have an additional question again, please advise. Question Can Jia from Luck pillarcombine with Ji Day Master to tranform to Earth element if the Earth branch is Chen (Earth element)? If yes, in this case, only Jia will transform to Earth element and lost its Wood nature, whereas Ji Day Master remains unchanged. If transformation is allowed, this Ji Day Master is a strong Yin Earth, Earth becomes his unfavourable element despite the fact that originally Jia (Wood element) in the Luck Pillar supposed to be his favourable element. If transformation is allowed, this strong Ji Day Master will face an inauspicious luck for the next 5 years. Is my above assumption is correct or wrong ? Please check and enlighten me. Thank you. David Ooi
