Hi Cecil
We have a laughing buddha which currently is placedfacing the main entrance. It is placed about 2 to 3 ft away from the television (i.e. both on the same wall side). Is this ideal as I read from some of the websites that buddha should not be placed near any electrical appliances?

Hi Cecil
Happy New Year to you!
I've heard that it's good to hang a pair of bells and a red string of 3 feng shui coins on the outside and inside of the main entrance door handle respectively, to attract wealth.
Does hanging of a string of 8 (instead of 3) feng shui coins inside help as well? Or it must strictly be 3?

Hi Cecil, thanks for your advice. At which location of the door is appropriate - right top or left top or?QuoteOn 3/28/2014 2:44:37 PM, Anonymous wrote:
Further to what I had mentioned; There
are two other alternatives:1. If one
wants to apply "stealth" or stealth

This
is a plus point.1.1 If the cactus is
tall and lots of "branches" then, it

a concern.2. Under the Five elements

be
used against it: Not possible to

Hi Cecil
I have attached 2 kinds of indoor water features that I came acrossrecently. Seems thatboth of them have the 5 elements that you are mentioning about. Would appreciate if you could review for us and advise which is more appropriate forplacing in the corner facing the main entrance.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Cecil
Thanks for the advice. Able to let us know where we can get such water features in Singapore?

Hi Cecil
Thanks so much for the information. Are you able to provide some pictures of rectangular water features with circular object on top so that I can get the correct type?QuoteOn 2/13/2012 5:12:50 PM, Anonymous wrote:
These are some considerations:1. Based
on the Flying Star Theory, and based on
the yearly timely stars: yes, the
location that you indicated is
suppose to be the water wealth
location.2. Based on the Concept of
White Tiger, Green Dragon concept; West
symbolises the White Tiger. 3. Thus, to
be on the safe side; the water feature
should not result in a "hungry" tiger's
mouth. Thus avoid placing a pure
circular water feature or bowl at this
location as a precaution against having
it symbolise the hungry mouth of the
"white tiger". 4. For the location, it
is preferred that the perimeter of the
water feature is rectangular to avoid it
like Para 3. 5. As usual, a good water
feature should have all five elements:
http://fountain.geomancy.net Para 2.1 to
2.12 (a ball or circular object within a
rectangular holding tank, here is fine
or ok).6. Attached, showing the water
wealth location #8 at West sector this
year. 7. Based on a most recent
posting.. some user said that the cai
wei is at diagonal... for this layout
plan... it does not seem or may not seem
TRUE if we consider the Flying Star Feng
Shuiwith the most important
current water star#8. Which is
located at West.Which is directly
in front of the "main door" and not
diagonal.... On 2/13/2012 8:18:19

Hi Cecil
Is it alright to place a blue rug at the northwest sector of the house which is also the main entrance?

These are some considerations:1. From a
Shapes and Forms point of view; the main
purpose of having a water position is
that nothing else can often be built
above the water position. Thus giving
clear space.2. Here, if it is the main
entrance area, it could imply that there
is a "bright" hall effect
versus"clutter". Even a tree at
the frontage would often cast a
shadow.3. However, if one knows the
exact star(s) of the Flying Stars kind;
at the frontage, then could use it to
guauge what stars are at the main
entrance. For example, after Chinese New
Year, the annual #8 star is at West.
Thus if the frontage is located at west;
then a water position, there is fine or
OK.4. Do take note that a water position
at the wrong location can often be
detrimental. 5. What makes a good water

Cecil, thanks for the explanation. What if I place the water feature at the SW location of the house, facing directly the outside of the main entrance which isthe NW location of the house?

Hi
Is it good to place plants in the northwest sector of the house this year? If so, any particular type of plant that is good? Are red colour objects (e.g. red floor mat)good for this sector this year?
Thanks.

Is there a need to place a cure in my children's bedroom as I presume the cures you just recommended are meant for the living room?

My children's bedroom and part of our living room (with TV, hi-fi, etc) fall in the southwest sector of our house. What can we do toalleviate the effects of the 5 yellow this year?

Hi Masters
The entrance of my house is located at the NW corner. During Chinese New Year, is it alright that I place a red floor mat outside the entrance? Other times, I will usually place a blue mat here.
Thanks.

Dear Masters
My daughter is due to select a diploma course for next year's intake. I hope you can advise the elements of the courses below (which she is interested in) so that a correct and proper choice can be made for her based on her bazhi.
(1) Accountancy - Metal?
(2) Banking & Financial Services
(3) Health Sciences (Nursing)
(4) Psychology & Community Services
(5) Pharmacy Science
(6) Business & Social Enterprise
(7) Human Resource Management with Psychology
(8) Business Administration - Retail Management
(9) Business Administration - Marketing Management
Thank you.

Hi Masters
According to my daughter's bazhi, she is a weak wood person. She excels in her maths subjects more than the other subjects.
Is it good if she pursuesher career in the accountancy field? If not, what will be good or suitable for her?
-
Hi Masters
My facing direction of my present house is West. There are 2 bedrooms (one in the SW sector and the other in the SE sector) for my 2 children.
As per bazhi readings, the following are the good and bad directions for my children.
Elder daughter - Southeast (Irritation), Southwest (Health)
Younger son - Southeast (Spook), Southwest (Excellent)
Seems that Southeast is not a good direction for both my children. Since I have only these 2 bedrooms for allocating to my children, could you help to advise who should preferably take which room?
I'm also just wondering which direction is worse off - Spook or Irritation?
-
Thanks so much for the info.
Is it alright to place the water feature at the SW of my house as this will directly be facing my main entrance/door?
-
Understand thatplacing a water feature on the east or southwest corner of the living room is good in 2008. If so, what kind of water feature would you recommend?
-
Dear Masters
Understand that for 2008, the following sectors of the house are not so favourable:
North-West (2) - Sickness Star
South (5) - Misfortune/Sickness Star
The NW corner is my main door while the S corner is my study room.
What is your advice for suppressing the negative energies in these 2 sectors if placement of feng shui cure items is not recommended?

Hi Master Cecil
Thanks for the advice.
Facing of Kuan Yin Altar
in General Help
Posted
Hi Cecil
I understand that kuan yin is best placed facing out of the living room windows. Does the direction matter? E.g. right now, our kuan yin is sitting in the east facing out of the living room windows which is in the west. Any issue with that?
