  1. I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there.
However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation? My kua is considered 8 (actually 5, but for female, it should be read as 8).

  2. Is yin water used to cure a bad sector in the house? How to go about this cure?
Does yang water mean activator/energizer? Is a piece of natural crystal with rolling crystal ball (by water force) on top considered a form of yang water feature?

  3. Probably, I should make it clearer. My house belongs to Period 7. Three to four years ago, I had a practitioner to read the feng shui of my house. According to her, my house is considered to be facing West 2/3 with living room windows facing the West (cos' most yang energy enters from here) while the main entrance is on the northwest sector of the house. If I'm not wrong, in period 8, the double "8" will be at the West, i.e. my living room. Please correct me if I'm wrong. If that is the case, what must I do to activate the good stars? How about the main entrance (northwest sector)? If it does not have good star, how should I cure it? What actually does one need to do when a house is good to "change to period 8".

  4. Hi Cecil
I'm just puzzled about the correct facing of my house.
When taking direction outside and facing my main door, the compass actually points to the north. When standing at the centre of the house inside, the main door actually falls into the northwest sector of the house. However, I have windows (whole long stretch) on the North-West (balcony) and West (living room) of the house.
What facing should this be classified as? North, North-West or West?
How does this facing affect us in Period 8?
    Appreciate your reply.
    Thanks.
    Alice

  5. I've read articles that water/fish tanks should not be placed on the west side of a house. Is is true? But according to the geomancer I consulted about one and a half years ago, who based on my family members' birth dates, said that we should place a water tank on the west of our house. How would this affect us? Cause my children have been falling sick for quite some time.
