  1. Dear Cecil, I read your article about Drainage Points: 1. Attached please find an illustration (sample) of a typical home where there, if drainage out of the home, can result in either: Wealth or Power and Authority for the owners. 2. In this example, if drainage out of the home is under Exit 1 and Exit 3, then it would mean wealth for the home-owners. 3. For those who are in politics or want to have a high position in their company, may consider Exit 2. The questions are 1. How do I determine Wealth or Power & Authority direction? 2. How to determine left to right or right to left? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  2. Dear Cecil, Is it considered a leak if a sewerage pipe (from toilet bowl to septic tank) running under a kitchen? But the pipe is not under the stove, only running below the corner of the kitchen. I want to know you opinion about septic tank around the center of the house. Is it considered a major leak? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  3. Dear Cecil, Thanks for the response. I've got the point: I should move after 18 April 2004. However, there is run yue this year. So, when is the safe time (the starting date) to move? Thanks in advance. 4. Dear Cecil, I think my father has made a big mistake. He was born in 1938 (Strong Water Tiger). It is said that he is not allowed to do any renovations this year. Unless, the bad effect will follow him for 12 years (CMIIW). But he did to the house I am going to move. Moreover, some portion of SW3 has been disturbed. I've told him to let the work to the workers. However, he watches the renovation everyday and gives instructions. The probable good news is we haven't moved to that house yet and my father won't stay there soon coz he lives in another city. FYI, the house I'm going to move is not a brand new house. Perhaps it was built in periode 6 and has major renovation in 2003. May I consider that house as a brand new house since we haven't moved so that no effect for us? What could be the effect to my father? Is it good to move house during Jin Ming periode? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  5. Dear Cecil, Please see below: Is the ba zi of the owner taken into account? And how about the ritual of new business opening? How should the owner do? What is the auspicious time? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  6. Dear Cecil, do only one of them? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  7. Dear Cecil, Please see below: is that the toilet is inside the kitchen. So I want to make some change. Under new arrangement (as attached), the kitchen has its own room and the toilet is not inside the kitchen anymore. Please give some comment about it. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  8. Dear Cecil, My father is considering to replace our main door due to its bad condition. In one of your messages, you said it should not be moved. So, what is the solution if we really want to replace it? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  9. Dear Cecil, I'd like to ask you some questions regarding kitchen & stove: 1. Is it allowed to have a water tank above a kitchen (but not above the stove)? 2. I have been told to have a stove with solid backing. May I consider plywood as solid backing? 3. You say stove is not allowed to be in front of a wash basin. What if the stove faces East & the wash basin faces West but they are not opposite directly? 4. Is it allowed to have a toilet (with its own toilet door) inside a kitchen? Please take a look at the picture. 5. While cooking, which hand-swing is preferable: to the left/right side of the house or to the back side of the house? 6. Is it allowed to have a balcony above a kitchen? 7. Is it allowed to have a door (to the balcony) above a stove? Thanks in advance. 10. Dear Cecil, Please see below: I've told my brother that the lay out is inauspicious. However, he argued that he had consulted with a trustworthy psychic that the land was very auspicious. He added that most houses at the same side of the street have the same characteristic (lower than the street with basement) and many rich landlords stays there. The left neighbour has the same interior and exterior design because they're semi-detached houses. The left owner stays there too and is very rich. It looks like there is a river nearby "hug" the location. All I can do for him is suggest not to rent too long. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  11. Dear Cecil, My brother is considering to rent a house which is under renovation. My brother was born in 1972 (rat & strong water). The house is facing East(76). There are a clear space in the front and tall coconut trees (much taller than the house) at the back yard plus a mountain far in the background. It is a 3 story building with one basement (total: 4 floors). Please notice the basement because the land the building sits on is actually lower than the street. The land is sloping from the front to the back. However, the front door is located on the first floor which is at the same level with the front street. It has a beautiful scenery from the top floor. The landlord used to stay there. He and his family have many properties and and. The reason he moved out is the third floor of the house was burnt. This is the description of the interior. There is a toilet in the middle back of the house (leak?). A small stairs on the second floor to the third floor is located above the front door (1st floor). As you said many times, East is a bad sector during periode 7. And the house is under renovation. Do you agree if I suggest my brother to change the periode of the house to periode 8? According to Find a Good House report, under periode 8 the stars are 8 6 8. East is a good direction for him and the house belongs to one of his favorable element. What do you think about this house? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  12. Dear Cecil, About 5 months after moving to his new house, my uncle got an accident last week. Today, I visited him. After seeing his house, I suspect something wrong with the house. He was born on 1942 (Horse year). The house sits on West. I think the ceiling is a coffered one. Although I am not so sure. His stove is located at the hallway and faces West. His house has 2 straight paths. But I have told him to install some screen dividers. One of the toilets is looking outward to the garage door. These are the remedies I suggest: 1. For the coffered ceiling, install a new flat ceiling just below the old one (not replace the old one). 2. For the kitchen at the hallway, install 2 doors. Is it OK to have 2 connecting doors at the kitchen? What do you think about my suggestions? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  13. Dear Renjin, Your situation is the same as my cousin's. His shio is dragon too. Every time he has a dog in the same house, the dog dies eventually (sick or poisoned). The solution: he moved the dogs to another house and feed them twice a day. He just reduces the time they meet. When his daughter bought a new dog, he asked her to keep the dog away from him. I hope this helps. Regards, Wasis ----- Original Message ----- From: "free-advice Listmanager" To: Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2003 4:11 AM Subject: Question about pet dog
  14. Dear Cecil, I'd like to ask you the method to find mountain star. How do I determine that there is a mountain star at specific sector of the home? As for the birthdate of the house, which one is used: completion date or construction date (the day that the earth was first disturbed or dug)? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  15. Dear Cecil, Please see below: Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  16. Dear Cecil, I plan to replace my main door. It is currently made of 2 panels. The left panel is wider than the right one. The backdoor has the same characteristic (except the right panel is wider than the left one) and only 1 cm narrower than the main door. Is it effective to replace the 2 panel main door with a 1 panel main door, considering that 1 panel will be far wider than those of the backdoor? When we measure auspicious size of doors and windows, should we include the frame as well? As for 2 panels door, sometimes if we want to have - say 90 cm panel, we won't get exactly 90 cm. Both panels won't exactly the same because of the fault tolerance. Perhaps the left panel is 90 cm width and the right one is 90,5 cm. The question is, how much is the fault tolerance allowed? Suppose the door is made of wood, what kind of wood texture is auspicious? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  17. Dear Cecil, Last Friday I visited a photocopy shop. The business is good. They have many clients. As I noticed carefully, just opposite the main door, there are electricity pole and one huge tree. Then I went outside to look at the shop. It has a two-step semi circular radiating out step. In fact, the whole frontage of the shop (3 story-building) has the shape of semi-circular radiating out. One thing I am still wondering is one fruitseller shop in my city. The business is very very good. There are streets in the front, left side and behind. Just opposite the main door (10-20 meters away) there is a big electricity pole. I don't see any ba gua mirrror or semi-circular step. The frontage is clear space with many tall palm trees. I think pictures will explain better. I'll post the pictures once available. My cousin said if one's luck is strong enough, such treat won't affect. For example, his business. Just opposite his shop, there is a pole too. So far, his busines is good. 18. Dear Cecil, I am considering to rent a landed property as a business site. The characteristic of business site in my country is the width of the main door is almost equal to the width of the property. So, if we stand at the centre point of the property and at the main door, we will obtain the same direction. You often say that North-South facing house is better than East-West facing house. This is a dilemma for me since my Gua is 7 and my element is Strong Earth. Let's say North direction. In periode 8, it has a good Flying Star combination and North represents my wealth element. However, it is my Disaster sector. Another direction: W2. It has a good Flying Star combination and represents one of my favourable elements. However, West means heat after 12 AM. Thus, I'd like to ask you which one I should weigh more? Should I weigh on the uncureable Eight House? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  19. Dear Cecil, I just bought a six rod hollow metal windchime and hang it in SE sector. Soon, my neighbour hang one with 5 rod hollow bamboo windchime near my windchime. Since that sector is more windy, we may say there is a windchime war. :) Do you think my neighbour's windchime could be considered a threat to my SE sector? FYI, my windchime produces more loudly sound considering it is about 1 meter length. For that big windchime, I paid $5 (compared to those at FS Emporium sites, it's cheap). Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  20. Dear Cecil, What do you think about the birth time of the house? Does the house belong to periode 6 or 7? Btw, we have red pavement in the frontage (North). In fact, the majority of the frontage is red colored. Does it matter? Thanks in advance. 21. Dear Cecil, I didn't notice carefully the shape of those buildings. Does it mean that tall and thin building must be of wood element? I feel a bit difficult to determine the wood element building. Coz sometimes, tall and thin building has either sharp pointed roof or flat roof. And sometimes it is covered with glass and has a round shape (from helicopter view). For example: - Suntec City Mall: tall, thin, square, flat roof - Petronas Tower: tall, thin, round, sharp pointed roof - Concorde Hotel on Outram Rd: tall, thin, round, flat roof, glass covered. Perhaps some pictures would explain better. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  22. Dear Cecil, 1. I don't see any #2 nor #5 star in the sector (South West). The stars are: #7, #4, #7, #3, #6. There is a set of 6 coins in that sector. The degree is 27, periode 7. 2. However, as my parents often use the back door as the entrance, I calculate using 204 degree. And the results are: #8, #4, #9, #3, #6. 3. Then I calculate using the exterior facing direction: 3 degree. The results are: #8, #4, #6, #3, #6. 4. Even though I calculate using periode 6 combinated with those degrees, I don't find any #2 nor #5 in that sector. Any clue? 5. When I calculate for periode 6, I am suspicious about the birth time of the house. Using those degree (3, 27, & 204), I always find either #2 or # 5 or both of them in N & SE sectors. The family members who sleep there often fall sick. 6. As far as I know, when my father renovated the roof, he didn't repaint the ceiling. The house was built during 1983-1984. 7. Further more, I suspect the North sector is source of the problems we have since it represents middle son, liver, kidney and inner ear. But we don't know what it is yet. Thanks in advance. 23. Dear Cecil, What could happen if one sit with back against Three Killings? I sit with my back against West and have no choice to change the direction due to the size of my room. If I change the direction (of my back) to east, there is a door behind me. And I suffer from back pain recently. Any cure for this? Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  24. Dear Cecil, Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis
  25. Added by Cecil: Dear Wasis, 1. No problems. Often, it is best not to post extracts from other sites, firstly because of intellectual property rights concern. 2. This is because, it is not right for cross-posting between different sites without express permission from each other. 3. Recently, I was sadden by the fact that a newly created account used "fastpig fastpig" and within a few days later changed it to "myfs myfs" etc... In fact, if one asks any Muslim, the word " pig " can be rather offensive, to say the least. In Singapore, we also have a sizeable population of muslims. And we also have many users from Malaysia and Indonesia; which try not to use such words even if they are of Chinese origin. 4. Although I am not a `fan' of Hsia calendar either, I am not prepared to allow users to post messages that criticise systems without a proper name. (Questions like this will `benefit' sites that do not `pay homage' to Hsia. Yet, we do not feel that the question should be posted without the user using their proper names). Furthermore, this user has not much understanding of the various calendar system nor the lunar calendar system. Yet he spammed this forum (internally/unmoderated) with repeated messages and "demanded" to know why I did not post his "great discovery". If one looks at his `discovery', it is really no discovery at all:( 5. I am sad because, this is my country man. He had posted opinions or `criticisms' directed at theories and yet use such `turn-off' user ids etc... This person also wrote and "demanded" why his postings were accepted by other sites and not by Geomancy.net. Geomancy.net simply does not follow any other sites! Our forum has been around for many, many years and always 100 percent flame free. This is one of the very rare occasions that one sees such an `ugly' act. It is indeed sad to see such behaviour:( 6. Look at your postings, you and many other users have always used proper names and many of your personal postings are also your real names. We have to stand-by what we write especially, subjects that `boasts' of a new discovery or `criticisese' certain concepts or theories. 7. As the host of this forum, users get to see who actually posts the message. For Robert and myself, we also use our true names and each of our postings have a record of our names and not "alias". 8. I understand that some users are `shy' to post their private messages and thus, feel free to use the check button with the `anonymous' tag if the messages are of a personal nature. 9. In my opinion, it is people who does not have ownership of their writing; are akin to "running across a road illegally" and causing an accident. This type of people, simply walk away. While, others have to collect their mess:( Going forward, I therefore, sincerely wish that users do not post messages from other sites. At the same time, please do not post/extract any messages from this forum to others:) Warmest Regards, Cecil Dear Cecil, Apologize for any inconvenience occured. I really didn't mean to heat arguments. Just wanted to fulfill my curiosi ty coz. I see several terms in feng shui which look similar but not the same. Thank you for your correction.
