  1. The Holistic Approach to Feng Shui
  2. Based on the limited information, can only apply what is simply COMMON SENSE FENG SHUI Simply, when one enters a bedroom, more or less one can already envisage where the bed could be placed. Encountered this before? Visually, seen the bedroom door, the windows, the wardrope location and for the master bedroom the attached bathroom door. "Worse still if one has to place a King or Queen sized bed! LOL 1. Based only on general Feng Shui, and given that you may be using a Queen sized bed (width is 5 feet) and King sized bed is 6 feet, there is very limited location where the bed-head can be placed. 1.1. This is the best that you can apply or try to fit the bed to the room bearing in mind that there are windows, openings e.g. bedroom door and cabinet accessibility. 1.2. The above cannot be really considered as "Perfect Placement" since there are THREE (3) SCIENCE OF FENG SHUI WHICH ARE UNFORTUANTELY MISSING LINKS TO THE ABOVE. Want to really know what is "PERFECT PLACEMENT?" 2. When it comes to proper Feng Shui: 2.1 Step 1: a chart, sample is attached is prepared: 2.2. Step 2: Bedroom is reviewed based on several criteria: 2.2.1. Optimal Bed-head direction is looked at based the person's best bed-head direction: APPLYING EIGHT HOUSE CONCEPT 0R 4 GOOD/BAD with 2.2.2. In this illustration one will notice the Master Bedroom windows are located or influenced by the East sector. (Based on Eight House / 4 Good- 4 Bed directions) 2.2.3. The qi or energy coming into the Master bedroom favours Mrs = her "Health". While for Mr is his "Spook". 2.2.4. Thus there is no accident why Mrs is suppose to sleep closer to the Master windows. Where Mrs acts more like a knight in shiny armour shielding Mr who sleeps closer to the wardrope / toilet. 2.3. Step 3: Applying Flying Star Feng Shui - which today found that East sector is now the Career and Overall luck/ (Already started in 2021 till 2043). Here, Flying Star can also provide a guide whether Master Bedroom is a good or bad sector. As in this case, today, it is a good sector. APPLYING FLYING STAR FENG SHUI 2.4. Step 4: Applying Ba Zi Feng Shui with Flying Star to determine the best colours for e.g. East Master Bedroom:- APPLYING BA ZI FENG SHUI Based on this.... 3. Without the above, THREE (3) concepts it is as good as go with your feel. 3.1. Unfortunately, without the Science of Feng Shui: a. Eight House / 4 Good-Bad b. Flying Star Feng Shui c. Ba Zi Feng Shui 3.2. Can only reply on general Shapes and Forms. Might as well, frankly, get hold of a COIN and do this:- + APPLYING COMMON SENSE OR COW SENSE FENG SHUI, HERE Actung! Caution The Science of Feng Shui is the missing link.
  3. $3 for 1 piece plain and 1 piece egg prata. Generally the pratas are okay. Asked for mutton gravy. Smooth and fairly good. And not salty.
  4. Hi Cecil, can I ask u whether The Bayshore condo unit is good fengshui as the interior layout all are odd shape? All developments have their good, the bad the ugly. Thus the good ones.. no issue even with odd shape. But bad ones not great
  5. Very unusual stall name. Botak in Malay means bald head. Hopefully won’t get bald after eating food from this stall. LOL Like this one. The gravy or sauce is light and nice. Leaves no weird or strange after taste unlike from some other stalls. $4.50 minced meat and meat balls version. Add $1.20 for three wantons. (As they also sell wanton noodles).

  9. Land Parcel at Plantation Close The winning bid was $348.5m. The Housing and Development Board (HDB) awarded the tender for the Government Land Sale parcel at Plantation Close to Hoi Hup Realty and Sunway Developments. The property developers clinched the site at a tender price of $348.5m. The land parcel at Plantation Close has a maximum gross floor area of 46,036 square metres (sqm) and a site area of 16,441.2 sqm. According to HDB, the developers plan to construct an executive condominium housing at the site. HDB expects the project to be completed within 60 months from the date of acceptance of the tender.
  10. Source and Credit: Katong Park is one of the oldest parks in Singapore. It was first mentioned in the 1928 Straits Settlements Annual Report (SSAR) by Director of Gardens, Mr R.E Holttum. Katong Park was opened in December 1931 and back then it was super popular because of its location next to the sea (during that time… East Coast Park did not exist! It was Singapore’s first public sea swimming enclosure with a bandstand, changing rooms and a playground. Food was sold in the Silver Owl Cafe as well as by vendors along Meyer Road.

  12. 3. You wrote: 4. My third question is related to the way that elements relate to one another. When an element produces another, does it weaken itself? does this mean that for example in order to cure inauspicious metal there are two options 1) use fire as a destructive element and/or 2) use water to draw out the metal to produce more water and weaken itself? 3.1. Frankly, this is highly academic. And there are many available resources out-there where one can study and have mastery of this subject. 3.2. The above is known simply as the "FIVE ELEMENTS". And it is one of the most fundamental subjects as it applies to many fields of study. Such as Ba Zi (Four Pillars) and Flying Star Feng Shui. 4. My fourth question relates to electrical appliances. I see that this might “drain” a direction (good or bad). Does this also apply to an electric oven, electric stove in the kitchen? The conflict for me comes from the an understanding that the stove is an auspicious creator of energy - is this mistaken? Context: Our SW excellent line runs through the kitchen directly through electrical stove and oven. 4.1. Unfortunately, this subject is highly subjective. And opinions can differ greatly amongst various Feng Shui practitioners. 5. My fifth question relates to outdoors or feng shui in a garden. I read somewhere that it is not really useful to use flying star analysis for outdoor spaces. Do you agree with this perspective? is there a certain school one should prioritise or any general guidance to follow when placing things like barbecue, sitting space, water feature, bird house, vegetable patch on the property’s facing side? 5.1. Time and time again, we are asked to advice on landscaping Feng Shui. Just last year, a fairly new condo asked me for Feng Shui advice on what to do with their frontage circular plot: water position or plant landscaping etc... 5.2. A good mastery of Shapes and Forms Feng Shui is essential, here.
  13. 1. You wrote: My first question is - is it right to prioritise flying star elements above the default shapes and forms elements when deciding on cures? Context: My initial thought was that I could use destructive elements to weaken the traditional “shapes and forms” elements of the ‘bad’ directions for my family (We are all SW people). I initially wanted to cure South (fire) by hanging a painting of water/blue. However when I see the Flying Star analysis for period 9 facing SE2 (which I understand is a more accurate school?), facing 3 star in S is inauspicious wood so you suggest to use fire to exhaust and weaken. There is therefor a conflict between using water or using fire to benefit this location. 1.1. In general, this the primary comment is "The Shapes (Shapes and Forms) prevails over the stars (Flying Stars)". This statement implies that Shapes and Forms comes first before Flying Stars. But do note that this applies more for external Feng Shui. 1.2 While there is some truth when it comes to applying interior Feng Shui, then Flying Stars makes more sense with regards to cures or enhancements if any. 1.3. Frankly, your other information is too theoretical. We normally look at a chart showing the actual layout and prepared then comment. As the saying goes... A picture paints a thousand words.... 1.4. This is an overview of how I would apply Holistic Feng Shui: 2. You wrote: My second question relating to shapes and forms is related to the use of religious symbols to cure the death line. What can you do if the house is secular and does not actively observe religion? Are there other non-religious symbols or objects that can be used that represent life? 2.1. Feng Shui is non-religious. But there are many Feng Shui masters either impose their religious beliefs into their Feng Shui Practice and/or find it Highly Lucrative to incorporate commercial symbols or objects in their practice. 2.2. The later motive is FIRST = FENG SHUI STORE mentality and 2ND, a Feng Shui Master. Many abuse this "authority" and Many Feng Shui Masters are a Feng Shui Store in disguise Beware: Even those who claim to have a Feng Shui lineage are equally guilty of this Ask: "Must I buy from you?" 15. Advantages of Point Block as narrated via the Sales Brochure of Liv @ Mountbatten Source & Credit: Liv Marketing Pamphlet Every unit is a corner unit Each tower comprises only 4 units on every level. There is minimal wall-sharing chance with neighbouring units. This ensures exclusivity and privacy, while maximising natural light and ventilation. Simply, it is like owning a Semi-detached home in the sky.
  16. More to do with Nice-To and not a Must-Do if there are constrains Yes, it is nice to have the stove NOT sharing the same wall of the bathroom especially if it is back to back with a WC. However, what will be worse-off especially if this is a high-rise to place the stove with the upper floor neighour's sink pipes directly above the stove.
  17. This particular variety of Hokkien Poh Piah does not precisely qualify as Tim Sum. Nevertheless, the smaller versions are fried and can also be located at Tim Sum stalls…$2/- each. It is considered healthy as a minimal amount of sweet black sauce was requested. The cutting is not done expertly, as it often does not cut through completely. As illustrated in this sample:- At least mainly vegetables… suppose to be healthier provided not too thick sweet sauce is poured to the skin

  20. AS WE ENTER PERIOD 9 FLYING STAR FENG SHUI FROM 2024 TILL 2043 IS MY UNIT STILL LUCKY FROM 2024 ONWARDS? OR CAN OR CANNOT BUY? Part 1: How is the luck of the Interior Feng Shui of this unit? Part 2: External Feng Shui luck? + Overall score/luck. Part 3: How suitable is the unit - Frontage, Kitchen & Main Bedroom? PART 1 Depends on the Internal Layout & Sectors - How Lucky? There are only two facing directions for this development: NE1 or SW1. Unfortunately, both units are not that great during this period. +++ Good, Better, Best! NONE +++ The Rest! NE1 [Less lucky under Period 9. It also depends on the layout plan.] +++ SW1 [Take extra care of health issues from 2024 onwards.] Like Band-Aid; need to fix-it! * BEST TO CURE IT * ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ But also need to review/consider the individual Internal Layout Plan & this is just part of the many considerations in a home purchase. However the above does not take into consideration things like: Kitchen/Stove at Inauspicious Fire @ Heaven's Gate or Poison arrow aimed towards the unit, proximity to common bin etc.. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ ++++ PART 2 Location, location, location? Sha Qi? Poison Arrow? Watch Your Front, Sides & Back! PART 3 How Suitable to breadwinner? Please note that has yet to take into consideration: 1. How suitable is the unit to the main breadwinner & 2. External Shapes and Forms of the unit Get Expert Help: ++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++ How do you Feng Shui your home? Use your front door? Who are the Conservatives & the Modernist?

  22. Traditionally three joss-sticks is to pray to the dead. Or if one visits a Chinese wake, often three joss sticks are lighted up and given to the visitor to pay their respects. Thus three lights in a straight row to dome symbolises this concern. As can see this thumbnail snapshot:- P.S. Can certainly off load your valuable paintings! Received a PM?
