Your Free Book on Ba Zi and Time Zone MY BAZI LUNAR AND XIA 2020-04-04.pdf Extract from this book on Applying Location factor into Ba Zi Chapter [13.] Applying Location factor into Ba Zi Frankly, GMT time was only adopted universally in 1884. While Chinese Ba Zi system is at least more than 2,000 years old. Thus TIME ZONE or LOCATION factors, are modern changes advocated by modern practitioners. There is no such calculation when Ba Zi was invented in China. The only method that is technically correct is to apply the LOCATION factor to the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Even this has two issues:- a.) Even 0.01 degree off either the latitude and/or longitude, will make a major change to your Ba Zi chart. This 0.01 degree of error can make your chart even less accurate if it is incorrect. Which can be even less accurate than a chart that you leave the hour pillar as unknown. b.) Most people don't even have the time of birth, let a lone the exact place of birth. So why complicate the issue. Using GMT time zone is a bad way to apply the location factor, because GMT timezone only affects the longitude changes. Furthermore, GMT has been simplified so much so it is no longer as accurate as in the past. Our stand on this issue is NOT to add these level of complication to the analysis. Meaning that you should just use your local time (regardless of what country), to analyse the Ba Zi. This is because if you truly understand how the Ba Zi works, the HOUR pillar will not make a major impact in terms of the 10-yearly, 5-yearly, yearly and monthly luck pillars. The hour pillar gives additional pillars available for combinations and clashes; this can affect the final outcome of a person to be either weak or strong. A day without the hour will give the rough element strength of the day. Only a few hours may result in weak/strong element. Otherwise, not much change will occur. Your luck pillars will not be too badly influenced by the hour impact. Except for minor yearly and chart clash or harms that may occur. But these are minor as your general luck will not alter too much. This is why we can still analyse a person's luck fairly well even if you do not provide the hour pillar. Just check out some of the masters who had done case study of famous people, you will noticed that they do it just with the date of birth. They don't even apply any location factor. Ba Zi has designed to compensate from the lack of the hour pillar. Thus with or without the hour of birth, a person's chart can still be charted out. Just that with the hour pillar, your forecast will be more accurate. This is why we find no need to apply location into the Ba Zi. Just use your local time and it should be okay. One must always remember that a Ba Zi is supposed to be a heavenly GIVEN chart of what kind of luck you are supposed to have assuming your environment remains constant. This means it does not consider education, your house (earth luck), people around you, your career etc. However, in real life, how can you expect your environment to be the same all the time. Your luck is always being altered by your house luck, people around you, and your career. Let me give you some example:- a.) Given a pair of twins with the exact date and time of birth. One has primary education and one has a doctorate degree. Which you think will have better life. Most likely the one with a doctorate degree. b.) Given a same pair of twins. One stays in US and one stays in IRAQ. Which will you think will have a better life. Again most likely US as it is more stable and peaceful, as compared to a war torn country such as IRAQ. Given two persons:- Person A has the 10-year luck favourable to him, but he stays in a house with entrapped Feng Shui and death suitability to the home. Person B has the 10-year luck unfavourable to him, but he says in a house with excellent Feng Shui and prosperity suitability to the home. The Person B will have actually a much better luck then person A. Cos, a person's earth luck has been ADVERSELY impacted which supercedes his Ba Zi luck. Therefore Ba Zi is NOT a good tool to forecast all past events with 100% accuracy. There are other divinity tools in the Chinese culture to do so. What it can do is give you a forecast of potential pitfalls allowing you to maximise your luck by avoiding the bad period. Many modern practitioners/Masters, try to make you think that Ba Zi can give you an accurate assessment of your past and future events. How is this possible, if the concept is only supposed to provide you with a heavenly given luck? My advice to you is to leave the hour field as " unknown or unaltered" as it is NOT totally compulsory to so.

Case Study: Every site even this development has it's the Good, the Bad and the Ugly Units 1. Remember, even if a geomancer says that this is a good development. However, a good unit also depends on where it is within the development: 2. Is your potential unit under the Good, the Bad or the Ugly? 3. Often if one is lucky, even if the unit is not so fantastic superficially. Some units are like an unpolished gem. While others unfortunately may be a hopeless rotten apple. 3.1. Just imagine, if the unit is like a 10 year old rundown 1,000 cc car. Even a good Feng Shui Master is unable to turn it into a good unit! By the way, (above) this falls under Habit Number 11. 4. Under Habit 1, one possibility is by ranking one's bedroom type by stack/unit: 1st choice, 2nd choice etc... Reference: Habit 1 can be found under this link:- -

Is the Sales Brochure Useful? Introduction: For brand new just launched developments, there is no physical site to visit the completed buildings and apartments. 1. The only thing we can do is to visit the show room (which often is close-by to the site) as well as obtain a sales brochure and see the mock-up of the development. As well as try to ask questions from the sales agent (if any). 1.1. We must still try to gather as much information as we can. 2. Summary of Case Studies in this article. If the information is overwhelming. Pick and choose selective articles... 1A & B: Common Rubbish Bin 2A & B: Interior unit Dry Walls 3: Fire at Heaven's Gate 4: Sha Qi or Poison Arrows from Club-house roof-lines 5: 3 Panel Sliding Doors at the Balcony 6: Drainage at the Balcony 7: Air-con Ledges 8: Mixed Developments + Cooling Towers 9: Termite infestations 10: Coffee-shop below or near to unit 11: Water tank at roof-top 12: Lamp Posts, Pillars, Tree Trunks 13: Spice Garden in an EC/condo 14: EC/condo Clubhouse 15A & B: Pneumatic Waste Collection System 16: Look closely at the development's scale model for clues 17: Buying a Mixed development apartment 18: Survey or study facilities surrounding the development 19: Pump Room below a unit 20: Seven Commandments of Stove Placement 21: Is there a potential poison arrow from the neighbours? 22: Should I be concerned with a near-by temple, church, mosque &/or elder care? 23: Is the compass marking on the Sales Brochure accurate? 24: Sites reserved for Schools? 25: Doors face each other? [Main Door/Bedrooms] 26: Unit numbers with 4, 44 or 444 Okay? 27: Stove or sink or WC at the Centre of the house? 3. It is always an excellent idea to spent some time to scrutinise a prospective sales brochure of our potential buy (purchase). 4. Recently, more and more clients have discovered to their shock (horror) that the least expected was the location of the central rubbish bin outside their unit. 5. A year ago; many had purchased a premium unit within the development .. and later shocked to learn that the central rubbish chute (for their entire floor) is just next to their main door! 6. Thus the morale of the story is to check first before signing on the dotted line. 7. In general, most developments have these:- 8.1. A central rubbish collection centre / rubbish bin collection point 8.2. Power Sub-station. Every development usually has one or more of these depending on the size of the development. 8.3. Design of club-house roof-lines / trellis / gazebo / pavilion. Are the designs a "threat" e.g. with spikes or like a razor's edge? Usually these are aimed towards lower storeys. 8.4. Any poison arrows in the form of a sharp corner of another block of neighbouring stack aimed towards one's balcony (hard to cure) or towards one's windows (if any) 8.5. Location of areas like BBQ pits and any impact e.g. the smell from these pits towards a unit.. especially low storeys such as #01 or #02 first or second storeys 8.6. Any tree trunk aimed towards a lower unit e.g. #01 or #02. Unfortunately it may be too late; especially if the development is under construction. 9. There are lots more considerations... 9.1. @ Piermont Grand EC luckily the place of worship is not a temple How nice if it was not a Chinese temple but a Japanese Soka Centre As it looks more like a community hall than a Chinese or Indian temple. LOL Fortunately, it is the Singapore Soka (Japanese) Association. Where the building looked mellowed, unlike that of a Chinese or Indian Temple. The Experts in House Hunting

Related: "Extract of another Past Case Study 1A: There is always a stigma associated with a home near to a Chinese Temple." Some of us may consider purchasing a home near a Chinese Temple. However, especially when it comes to a future re-sale, we also have to content with the sentiments (if any) of the future buyer. Thus there is always a risk of either lower resale value or lower demand for your home. All temples often have a corner of it's premises with a reasonable large incense burning point for their devotees to burn offerings such as shown in the photo. Some temples also have it in the shape of a bottle gourd or hulu. Let's home the smoke does not blow into one's home. Often one has limited redress. And may have to live with it! Pray hard to the temple is not as popular as this one! Reference: Case Study 1B: Smell from the burning of incense:

Extract of a past ranking excercise for 5 Bedrooms Type at ParkEdge @ Bidahari Main Concern of Stack #105 is like the army experience: "Watch Your Front!" = The Temple 1. Optimized to breadwinner and spouse who are both West Group persons. Is one of the considerations, but this is not the only consideration. 2. Stack #105 was ranked as the10th choice = Last Choice. While #107 is at least the 6th choice. The Main Concern for Stack #105 [Legend C] 3. The main consideration for #105 ranked the last choice is due to it having a view of the Chinese temple. Sometimes, some may even get a whiff of incense burning if the wind blows towards stack #105 - especially low floor as per mentioned by you. Else, you get to keep on playing this song.. as a consolation... LOL Where does the Winds (Incense smell) come from? by Teresa Teng WATCH YOUR FRONT! [Legend X] 4. "X = Kitchen is in the inauspicious Fire @ Heaven's Gate. Which affect male breadwinner's career and also overall luck. The impact (if any) also depends on where the stove is located in these units." Thus for #105, the actual location of the stove - here is important. [Legend L] 5. Expect some traffic noise along Mount Vernon Road U/C and sometimes the screeching sounds of vehicles braking or even kissing each other. Selective Extracts of the LEGEND
