  1. A Cure? The concept of: "If no longer seen or highly visible, it is no longer a threat" - Applies! 1. Use of day curtain(s) and or blinds drawn down to the level of the window frame. 2. Too bad if it is at the middle of say the living room windows or as mentioned in earlier discussions a zip track frame right exactly at the middle of the balcony.
  2. Hello Cecil Lee, Thanks so much for providing such a concise and clear set of general feng shui information. I also appreciate thatyou use diagrams and pictures often. Reference resource:
  3. In general, we can coin these as“Self inflicted Sha Qi” 1. Just yesterday, I was having a discussion with a client who had just got their keys to a brand new flat in the East. 2. He was told by the MA that they only allow the frame to be exactly at the centre of the living room balcony. 3. How nice, if it was as shown, here:- Try to place the zip track column along a balcony's frame. Something similar to the red line, here:- Photo: Just T.O.P. - October 2022, The Jovell at Flora Drive 3.1. For this unit, the owner or occupier do not need to open panels A and B. And they can be permanently closed at all times. 3.2. How nice if the zip track "beam" as shown in RED can be as per the above and towards the balcony sliding door FRAME and not at the centrepoint of the home where the balcony sliding panels are very often opened when at home!
  4. Further to what I had mentioned, not great if the "column or beam" is the RED DOT. Not perfect, but acceptable as the BLUE DOT Note: Nowadays, it can also be a zip track. Where for longer balconies, a beam is included at the living balcony as shown, above. And if one were to draw the zip track all the way up! Easiest remedy for bedrooms is to drawn down the day curtains or blinds.
  5. 1. It would be worse-off if for example if one is standing inside the front door at marking A towards B and met with this (RED) column! 2. Otherwise, something like this "thick and prominent beam" is overall considered a Sha Qi. However, it depends also on what is on the other side of it. As mentioned, bad if it was the front door. But if this beam for example faces an opening inside the house.. IT DEPENDS! 3. For your example, if curtains or blinds installed, day curtains can be drawn at the area. And blinds, draw down to the windows = this works effectively for the owner or occupant of the house. BUT would not be possible if this was the front door. LOL
  6. On 23 October 2022 Some called this “the mentos” colourful sweet wrapper design Reminds me of huge glass “openings” of toilets… on The Quartz at Compassvale… one must be careful of installing blinds … to avoid neighbours peering into our toilets. At The Quartz, clear glass, here is smoked tone. But does not matter as once lights in the toilet are turned on…. Hopefully not another of the NUS dorm … red-eye cases…here
  7. Poor planning… not sure why such ugly bollards are installed... hideous looking bollards x 6 Development uses the rather "sensitive" Pneumatic Waste Chute… needs lots of discipline to make sure that it WORKS WELL.... Kudos to the developer to add the basement carpark vents to the side of the block(s) instead of at the frontage of some units More...
  8. More? Hundreds of reasons not to buy!
  9. Proper usage of Pneumatic Waste Chute Killer litter
  10. Another notice. This time at The Tembusu 1. Do not throw newspapers or any large chunk of paper or paper cartons as they will be entangled in the pneumatic chute. Likewise for cloths or clothing, which are soft and easily entangled. 2. Heavy object like electrical appliances are too heavy, the suction is not strong to carry the items all the way to the bin centre. 3. Liquids are prohibited, they will affect the pneumatic system. 4. Used Pizza boxes should be cut to size. 5. Please bag your trash and keep the trash bag size to less than 25cm.
