Part 3: Teochew Mee Pok Stalls all over Singapore
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Current Affairs & Lifestyle
Blk 671 Edgefield Plains Coffee shop. $4/-. Should have requested for mee pok. As their thin noodles is pretty large sized. And “hard”. Otherwise the sauce is okay. Fish balls nothing to shout about. Can easily be found in supermarket shelves. As factory made. -
Feng Shui of 1 Canberra (One Canberra) EC
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
The architect was nice to provide “fins” for some of the units facing the afternoon sun… Reminds me of the “sail type fins” at / surrounding the Infineon building at Kallang… -
Feng Shui of 1 Canberra (One Canberra) EC
Cecil Lee replied to Cecil Lee's topic in Singapore Property Review
One of the things one looks out for of a ground floor unit is the location of the ventilation shafts of the basement car park. Fortunately, this is not direct below a unit’s window[s] or balcony. Okay to be here, at 1 Canberra -

Most common advice given is a partition between the door and that “upwards” stairs. (Since highly unlikely, one will ever change the position of the stairs.)
-
Technically, when entering the house, one can still see the stairs whichever door is used. (Regardless whether the stairs decide that it only wants to move people one-way up or not. In my opinion, only perhaps one encounters a very liberal Feng Shui Masters; then one will "hear the good stuff".. LOL
-
Frankly, no offence but logically there is no such thing as "the staircase [ONLY] going upward? I hope it is not about the case of "I only want to (or pretend) to be able to hear the 'good' stuff?" The saying: Whatever goes up must also come down. And further more, how does a staircase knows that is only for going upward? Puzzled....

Help! Apartment in triangle building...is there any hope?
Cecil Lee replied to Dragon_88's topic in General Help
Frankly not perfect. But good that the unit is "rectangular" shaped. Related: Triangle plots are equally common even in my country -
Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo
Cecil Lee replied to Jack Teo's topic in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
You wrote: Is it a concern if the owner of the unit has passed on a year ago (although the owner has not stayed in the property for many years but has been renting it out)? Old owner was said to have passed on in this bedroom/bed. As Imagined by Meta AI. Frankly should not be a concern. As Feng Shui is about earth luck. If owner did not stay in the unit, no issue. Is it possible to use feng shui to help to counter the above concerns? All these are not direct Feng Shui issues. How to counter? Check out the 12 Habits of Feng Shui. What are other things that we should look out for? It is so easy to write a one line statement like this. The question is too..... WOW! How about first summarizing your life history in the same one liner? -
Feng Shui concerns for top floor condo
Cecil Lee replied to Jack Teo's topic in Flying Star Feng Shui (Xuan Kong Fei Xing)
You wrote: How auspicious is it for the main door to face the staircase with door, about 1.5m to 2m apart? How can this be considered fortunate? Hmm.... Regardless, it is mandated by law that all stairwell doors remain closed at all times. This requirement is in place to prevent smoke from entering the stairwell in the event of a fire, such as one occurring in a lower unit, thereby ensuring the safety of individuals using this emergency exit. Failure to comply may result in fines for the development. Furthermore, the development is also obligated to ensure that the stairwell is free from clutter, including any items that residents may have stored or discarded there. Last word should be clutter.
